4:52 am in NJ USA. Happy Happy Birthday you darling man! Never in my wildest dreams could I have a large plant of any kind in my teeny apartment. I even stay away from Alocasias and Anthuriums. Real estate is precious in my home and if a plant is larger, I must adore it before I bring it home. Please enjoy your day.
Happy Birthday!!! 🎂🥳 May you have a year filled with love, joy, and happiness!!! I absolutely love your channel ❤️ So glad I found you! This video is gold! Such great advice!
Happy birthday! And thanks for the reminder to think ahead on our plant purchases. It can save us a lot of money, time, and hassle. If we take this good advice 😆
The sagest of sage advice. Yours looks gorgeous!!! Rhaphidophora are also good alternatives. I never, ever wanted a monstera deliciosa. I always liked the peru, the standelyana, siltepecana. Finally got one...the poor thing almost lots a battle to thrips. I have three little cuttings which are rooting pretty well, let's see if i can resurrect her. xD
Urgh thrips are truly the Devil ! I love Raphidophora Tetrasperma and its a more space friendly alternative but it does need a pole and literally grows like a weed here , making sis had to sustain
Happy Birthday to ya...Happy birthday to ya..Happy Birrthdayyy Ebuka🎉🎁🎂🍾 May God bless you beyond your wildest dreams and keep those subscribers coming!!! Enjoy your special Month...All about the PLANT ICON for a month 😊
Another informative and honest video. I agree these are not beginner friendly plants and has always bothered me that they market them in this way. I waited years before I got one and felt like I was finally able to take care of it like it needs and deserves. Not a plant to get on a whim. Birthday love and best wishes to you!
I needed this reality check! my local plant store put 3 vines in a pot, it's still small but I do not have the room and I'm going to get busy rehoming it.
Happy birthday toooo yoooou!! That the written version of the birthday song 😂. You and your plants are amazing. Hope you have a blessed day and many years to come ❤
🎶Happy birthday to u , Happy birthday babes Ebuka…Happy birthday to uuuuu🎶😘🎂🌹🍷👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🪴mine is on Fri Nov 1st. so I’m celebrating for the both of us. Keep the videos coming babes.❤
I bought my monstera deliciosa in early March 2023, and she's grown so much that I’ve had to propagate her twice-once because she was getting too tall, and another time because, as Ebuka mentioned, there were actually two plants in one pot when I bought it. I love all of them, but they definitely keep me on my toes! I used to keep mine outside, but with the cooler weather now, I’ve brought them inside, and yep, there are tall grow lights set up in front of the leaves. I just had to repot my mother plant, and it took me over 20 minutes to get her out of the pot, move her to a bigger one, rearrange limbs, poles, and aerial roots, and wipe down all the leaves (since she's too big for my tub or shower!). Between finding larger pots, paying extra for more soil, and everything else, this plant is a serious commitment. So if you're thinking about it and want a big, lush plant, just be prepared. I can’t even complain about my care routine, because I know a few people with even bigger monsteras-and they look amazing! But the maintenance, from what I hear, is intense.😂
I chopped mine up and gave them away. I now have one vine in a nicely sized pot and it has mature leaves. It receives light all around from a south facing window and grow lights. Due to how huge they can get I don’t care to have any more monsteras.
Oooooo😮! Lock the doors🚪and close your curtains. What did you drink this morning? Lol, you're brave, but you're speaking the truth🪴🌻 Happy Birthday 🥳🥳🎂
A most Happy, Healthy Birthday to celebrate you! 🎉 And many more…I have a smallish classic Monstera I enjoy, and I would never get the large leaf variety because I don’t have the space. But I love yours! 🪴
You're right. At the sne time, imma stick beside my monstrous monstera. We're gonna prune her and pray for better hiding prices. Also, Happy Birthday!!!
It doesn’t help that u keep dangling that monstrous plant in our face to try n keep us away from it 😂 anywways great content as ever and yeah I wasn’t reli planning on taking this vid seriously coz ive had great luck in my own monster but have gotten complacent over it and beginning to realize it has smaller leaves now… complacent over consistently fertilizing as i used to in the past.. great reminder!
😅😅 it’s a gorgeous plant but like you said, one can’t be complacent with it, glad this reminded you to fertilize and a good balanced fertilizer at that
Talking about how Monstera is sold… The ones that are sold with one vine in the pot is a Monstera deliciosa Large Form (crawler). The ones sold with multiple vines in one pot is a Monstera deliciosa Small Form (climber). I find the Large Form much more beautiful than the Small Form. I think we all fell in love with the appearance of the Large Form, and get duped with the Small Form😂
Can you please explain the difference between large form and regular, do you know how I can differentiate between the two types and what are the ruffles on the petioles right where they meet the leaves and I never knew about the separate forms of crawlers and climbers. Thanks so much for this great video content. Lots of love ❤️ Ginger
I do not own one cause I just dont live in the climate it can be outside and I don't have the space for it. I'll be honest I dont find it attractive when I see people have it tied to things for support and the ariel roots are not my thing. I will have it on art on a wall, wear it in jewelry, or sport a t-shirt with a print of it but it's like the Great Dane of plants. I'd rather take a vacation and admire it in its wild form living its best life then try to live with a T-Rex in my living room. 🤣🤣🤣
I came ready to duke it out-I love the Monster 👹-but you’re 400% right. Buuuuutttt…I still have 4 varieties 🙃 and love them. Happy birthday!!
Looool I know this feeling. Even I with limited space still have 4 of these as well 🤣🤣
Just make room 😂 I love her❤
🤣🤣
Agreeeee cut a hole in the roof, big deal lol
I’m willing to put my husband’s stuff on the back porch for a little extra space. 🤣

i have a monstera deliciosa
I just got a white bird of paradise-for my little apartment already full of plants! Yikes! 😮
Ah Ebuka I was ready to fight you o 😅
Okay well my Pachira died on me. 😅 I gave it full sun watered once a week during an extremely hot summer and it still died 😂
I do not own one cause I just dont live in the climate it can be outside and I don't have the space for it. Smart and self aware!! Love it !!
I have a lot of questions. Number one: how dare you? 😡😂
🤣🤣🤣 Mandy please
😬😬😬 Maybe it will fit in my bedroom😅😅… ok maybe not.
😂😂
But it's an icon that started a cultural shift for millenials all around the world during covid lockdown!! Don't drag our Queen like that 😂
Please mind your business about my shoebox apartment and a Monstera 🥲
