My favourite gorilla facts is that the Western Gorilla's scientific name is "Gorilla Gorilla" and the Western Lowland Gorilla's scientific name is "Gorilla Gorilla Gorilla"

Probably my favorite DC villain. Just a wonderfully crazy character. And the fact that they keep you thinking he's a threat is kind of masterful writing.

The unbelievably slow murderer with the incredibly inefficient weapon, but very fast and effective because it's a giant gorilla and a giant spoon instead of a small lanky weirdo with an ordinary spoon.
I'd love to see Karl talk about Flash's other villains. Give me a video on Captain Cold, Mirror Master, or even The Rogues as a whole.
If I remember correctly, that Barack Obama episode was from Legends of Tomorrow which was definitely better than Flash, especially in later season with episodes like "The Fungus Among Us" where John Constantine gets turned into a mushroom

While I don't know the context of the clip, my favorite Gorilla clip has to be where this adult Gorilla is sitting and is kind of freaking out for seemingly no reason. A baby Gorilla sitting next to him puts his hand on his leg, and the adult immediately calms down, pats its back, and nods like, "I'm good. Thanks, buddy."

This reminds me of the Ben 10 villain "Infinite monkey" who is seems essentially godlike and is in some other blooming galaxy.
Gorilla Grodd isn’t even the only gorilla supervillain in the DC Universe; off the top of my head there’s also Ultra-Humanite, who iirc is even smarter than Grodd, and one called something like Monsieur Malla, who is a minigun toting gorilla that’s in a same sex relationship with a brain in a jar.
It's always been weird to me that Cheetah isn't a Flash villain. Super fast, strong, and durable, has heighted senses, had sex with Zoom that one time...But Grodd is cool I guess.

I dont know why, but DC is at its best when it does musicals. The Flash episodes and the Music Meister Batman movie are amazing.

That man can purr out a line, and the idea of getting Gail Simone's Secret Six on the big screen would be fantastic
I know it's a guy in a costume and you'd probably get a copyright hit for it but I always loved the gorilla playing the drum solo from Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight" from the Cadberry Chocolate commercial. And as far as DC, a lot of heroes had apes to contend with in the Silver Age. Editor Julius Schwartz believed that putting an ape on the cover meant higher sales. Superman had Titano, the giant ape, there was a Gorilla Crime Boss in Gotham for Batman and Jimmy Olsen almost married one.
For what its worth, theres an official Pokemon manga where Mewtwo uses a giant combat spoon as a weapon and does Donatello moves with it.
@DetectiveJacks: iirc, that’s the same manga where they graphically show pokemon getting killed in some of the early issues and has a major arc where the Elite Four are eco-terrorists that try to wipe out humanity.

You know what.. The Flash and other super speed characters, could have some insane cool fights, if their super speed was affected by physics. Imagine how creative a speedster have to be, when their speed acts like a double edged sword, since they can't just stop and turnaround instantly, without being affected by velocity and acceleration.
They could still be super fast, but it would ground fights alot more to a level where it isn't just 2 speedsters fighting or a speedster being nerfed to fight a normal human with a nerfgun that shoots ice.
That one musical episode is such a fun trope. Music master from Batman the brave and the bold is so good
