- Skyrim is a fantastically balanced game in the great elder scrolls series of RPGs. Anyway today we are discovering that skyrim is a perfectly balanced game with no exploits well excluding the Skyrim Bow Challenge. So today I chose to revisit the game and ask the question. What if they just used a flaming Knife to defeat a fire dragon. and Can you beat skyrim with only a Bow? These are the important questions which have gone unanswered for too long! So yes today we are going to break the game with the power of Enchanted Bows!!! Reanu keeves adventures is set to continue and take new exciting turns as the Spiffing Brit also takes the alchemy of skyrim to the next level of video game exploits on his quest for the Most Overpowered Bow. Honestly all of this is one big experiment gone wrong :D
What you have seen here today is part of a fantastic perfectly balanced series on youtube where I go from game to game and break them with wacky exploits to gain things like unlimited gold. LOL , I can't help he gets in-between me and bandit boss awhile I am dual weilding kill screen that resulted in his own death too! I will give him burial ceremony before I take over his house in Riverwood along with receiving his death gift from courier. He lives as long as he doesn't get in-between me and my enemy during battles since I am not pure evil seeking free house on purposed. Though , it will work well for me if he using two-handed weapons or sword and shield instead of using his bow when he is carrying my loots. He had decided to risk his own life by switching to close range battles near my own fighting. 😂
I've only ever killed two, no three followers in Skyrim. Lydia by using the shout that calls down a Thunder Storm. It was literally the first time I used it too so lesson learned, only bring along followers you feel are expendable. Jenassa by shooting her with a bow and arrow while trying to hit a giant while she was downed. Hill geometry and arrow inaccuracy for the win question mark? And the one you have to kill to get the Skull of Corruption in the Vaermira Daedric Artifact quest. That follower I actually like so it pained me to do it for the achievement lol

He must either stomp or jump on the forge to ignite it. If it happened while standing still, he would melt the planet.
It's actually a geothermal vent. If Reanu Keeves doesn't periodically dump excess energy into it, the entire planet WILL DIE.

One of the most broken things in Skyrim is the unique ingredient Astrid gives you to poison the Emperor. The damage values of ingredients in Skyrim vary from 1 to 5, and increase exponentially. The root you're given has that value set at over 300, meaning any poison you make with the ingredient can instantly kill even the tankiest enemy in the game, that being Kaarstag on Legendary difficulty.
Is there a way to get more root?
anyone who’s actually payed any attention would know kaarstag is immune to poison & paralysis. you’ll just waste the ingredients.
Unfortunately, Kaarstag is 100% resistant to poison. Speaking from experience :/
@@lrw3312 Cuz Skyrim is a perfectly balanced game with no exploits, so, the devs predicted this and made him resistant to poison.
Or you can just use the Fortify restoration loop to get a poison potion that does THIRTEEN MILLION DAMAGE (Spiff actually made it one of his episodes, its perfectly balenced)

If you have 100 enchanting, you can put two enchantments on an item.
Headpiece: magika/archery
Chestplate: health/smithing
Boots: stamina/carryweight
Gauntlets: pickpocket/lockpicking
Amulet: speech/alchemy
Ring:desired weapon/fists
Weird falmer mask thing: resist disease/waterbreathing
This is the true potential of reanu keeves.
Resist magic is more useful than resist disease. Works against fire, frost AND shock as well. For me the disease resistance didn't work anyways, when I had enchanted items that boosts disease resistance with hundreds of thousands percent, I still got sick.
@@azminek7154 You don't need any elemental or magic resist enchantments when you have an health enchantment of that amplitude.
Actually, I’ve always been maxing spell reflect/absorb and ended up being immune to disease, cause it’s basically a spell.
Also, yeah, disease resist is wanky. So I always carry a few potions, just in case.

I've never had trouble tbh
I recall sneak attack murdering a ton of things, and even a dragon with bows when i played soon after the first release, I don't recall them being super inaccurate.
I never used Stealth Archery but have used Archery and was very accurate as long as have the zoom perk.
When you move the arrows change direction. Stand still for the shot and it's always accurate.. Skyrim best game of the decade still banging!
When stationary the arrow doesn’t deviate left to right, only drops.
When you are strafing left or right the arrow carry’s that momentum.

I actually missed out on a neat part of the game because I killed a knight by shooting him through his helmet with a bow while chasing him full speed on horse back. You're meant to just chase him and then he's supposed to challenge you to a duel from what I've heard.

I have also enjoyed a combat archer build. All you need is the perk, that lets you run while shooting, then you can avoid everyone you want and shoot them while you`re at it.
See I stealth archer, but I also make sure I can tank as well, I killed my dog by accident being a sneaky archer so I had to switch styles

The longbow is better because although it is the weakest bow in the game in base dmg, it has the fastest firing rate of any standard bow (fastest firing bow in the game being Zephyr, byfar). This actually gives it a slightly higher dps then the hunting bow.

The reason it's hard to hit things with a bow in Skyrim is because there's a left-right auto-aim that doesn't predict target motion. This means if something is walking perpendicular to you, auto-aim will usually foul your shot. And also the auto-aim can't be disabled.

It can be disabled, but only with a console command. One of my old friends told me about it 5 or 6 years ago. Can't remember the command anyways.
Pretty sure the only time I've ever missed a shot in Skyrim is when I forget to install the mod that turns off the weird ninja dodge mechanic npcs have.

Because of some big science stuff, if the enchant was the other way around and did frost then fire, this bow when it hits a target, would instantly cause an explosion bigger then the entire Skyrim map, as the air super cools and the air particles condense and then instantly super heat they would expand at such an exponential rate that the target literally becomes a oxygen nuke

My favorite build so far has been a crossbow that drains roughly 45 million points of health and also traps the targets soul instantly. I take your life. I take your soul.

Well, the first time I played Skyrim, I didn't have the crosshair active, so I learned to hit "by eye". It was kinda cool, I got very good at it, aiming using the arrow and the bow as a crosshair.
"hey wheres the aiming crosshair? wow this game is so immersive!!!!"
I actually did that with skyrim VR, bow and arrow becomes really fun.
An even better way to get infinite arrows is from Niruin in the thieves guild cistern. The Solitude archers will only fire about 7-8 arrows per target before old ones start despawning to make room for the new ones. this isn't the case for Niruin, he'll just fire indefinitely and you can pick up all the arrows at the end.
7:14 if you smash through the companions quest and become the leader, aela the Huntress can be a follower too and will train you up to like level 90 or something
I’m pretty sure she’s an expert trainer, a.k.a she can only train you to level 75. But ye, that is definitely a good strategy!
10/10 would recommend for *perfectly balanced* gameplay

I love that the Hunting bow actually does 1790 damage (Look at the damage bar on the bottom of the screen when he equips it), and the Imperial bow only does 911 damage. Yet he says the Imperial bow does more because the damage calc on the big picture only shows the first three digits.
B: I would love to see a shout build. I wasn't even aware there was a shout build.
Pretty sure you can stack amulets of talos and get 100 % shout cool down, will be Interesting to see what spiff can Conjure up :D

I've been off and on playing Skyrim on the PSVR for some time and if I can replicate this shout build on there, well, I'd be having a lot of fun with Skyrim again after Spiff releases that video. If he goes for making a shout build video.

I know right. It is the best style of fighting ever because you can use it wherever and it is the only one that lets you kill dragons when they are way up high, till you learn Rend that is, but you have to be able to kill dragons before you can learn Rend.

Magnus Johnsson false, it’s so easy to make destruction cost no magicka to cast (without resto loop btw). Dual casting incinerate or thunderbolt over and over is OP, and you can hit dragons
As Spiffing asked, I'm gonna give my vote. I want to see some lovely mage action, because well, the mage is so hard and such a grind in early game, that I need some tasty exploits to make it fun.

The problem is that the multiplier doesn't apply to enchantments
@@thespiffingbrit Not only does it not apply to enchantments. It also ignores your proficiency with the bow, the only extra dmg crit provides comes from the base weapon damage. at 0 skill, that bit of damage is amplified. Thanks Todd.
Better way to get high damage:
Enchant armor to fortify weapon types, this means you don’t have to ever refill soul gems.
For some reason it works that way.
Skyrim just works.
The per charge cost to use an enchanted weapon is tied to your destruction skill. So, you want to enchant your gear with fortify destruction till your mana cost to cast destruction spells hits zero. Then, you can use weapons with damage enchantments for zero soul stone cost.
"Can you beat Skyrim with only a bow?" Well, yes. Whether i like it or not every playthrough i do ends up turning into a stealth archer at some point lmao

Have you tried spell-sword horse archer? Spell in one hand, enchanted ax in the other. Then, when you need to move, grab a bow and jump on a horse. It's just that easy!
Or how about a no-weapon build? Heavy armor khajiit with Gloves of the Pugilist.

In Skyrim if Damage on your item goes over 3 digits, the game breaks and displays only the first 3 digits of that number.
For example if you have an item that does 51.234 damage, the game will display it as 512 damage.
are you using the period as a separator between the thousands and the hundreds place, or ones and tenths place?

Whatever nation uses periods at intervals of 3 digits are objectively terrible at math. 1,234.56 looks better than 1.234.56
Mage: destruction potions+marksmen potions+ 2.6 million bonus magicka enchantment = unlimited flames/sparks that one shots anything
Shouts: beast form trick into having 5 or more amulets of Talos stacked on you, +marksmen potions + H Mora's unrelenting force damage buff = say fus and instantly reduce enemies to ashes with the impossibly high decibel level your throat can produce, alternatively learn the time stop shout and use alteration duration potion to freeze time for everyone but yourself... Forever...
It's easier to get destruction spells cost reduction to 100% and with dual cast stagger you can pretty much faceroll the game on legendary
@@yourgoing2h8me oh you're not understanding what the series is about... You're supposed to take the weakest stuff in game and turn it into one shooting machines :D
Also if you get raw Magicka instead of spell cost reduction, you can cast stuff from all schools instead of just that one, and he already has the restoration glitch so it's easier to get raw Magicka than 100% spell cost reduction now

a simpler trick: with just 40 destruction skill you can learn the "impact" perk, that enables you to "stagger" enemies with ANY dual-cast spell. (the same spell in both hands at once)
combined with lots of equipment that boosts mana recovery, you can beat bosses easily!

watched this vid again a year later and laughed so hard! Droll, polite and facetious, so British, so humorous. Played the game through again after making character invincible. Took about 15 hours. Then loaded so many mods it blew up.
I would love to see Reanu Keeves attempt "a night to remember." A perfectly fair quest with no exploits.
