Very nice video. I had a reasonably solid case a few years ago. Unfortunately I don't live in the US and attorneys in 3rd World countries are not held to the same standards of ethics.
My dad worked at this factory for 28 years and he is 60 years old. The last year he had to have surgery on his back and was unable to do what he used to be able to do. He missed alot of work and when he came back He asked his job for help and said he needed another employee on his shift because he was third shift all alone. They would promise him they were going ro find someone but necer did. He got so frustrated one day he said he quit. The next week he tried to talk to them and they wouldnt even speak to him. I feel like he made a terrible decision quitting like that but he said it was so bad there he couldnt take it anymore. Is there anythi g he can do ?
What if the employer is doing everything in their power to transfer their assets in an attempt to be judgement proof few months before trial? Can this be tracked? Or if the corporation weren’t properly capitalized deliberately in order to escape liability? It’s obviously shady practices.
Yes, there are ways to track the assets and still collect the judgment when an employer tries to evade a judgment. But, it can be significantly more difficult to collect when a defendant is trying to evade.
Do you have a video arbitration and how affects your case? You can have a good case to file a for jury trial but if you have arbitration clause it’s basically pointless.
A good scenario to explore would be when an employer tricks a pregnant woman into taking more time off work than FMLA will allow, then eliminating them sometime between the end of FMLA and their planned return to work date.
Sounds a lot like ur trying to say that some employers are real scumbags and I'll never find an attorney to that can bring him to justice. And sadly enough, when I have the local PD on site with plenty of evidence that a crime has occured, I'm told to deal with that civilly. How am I supposed to obtain proof? Well from what u say, I can't his I just business practices will go unpunished and ultimately my termination will be in vane. Correct?
Im scared to see a lawyer because im employer trying to say i stolen stuff from the hotel its not true and no evidence put ge does that weekly any suggestions
My employer is not paying overtime is that a case it’s hard to prove cause we don’t have time clocks he stops my pay period @80hrs pays the rest under the table but no over time pay I also worked 7 day for almost a year Edit nope I fucced myself right in the pooch small company 8 employees he’s just gunna do what the end says and switch to some different name and I’ll be screwed on lawyer fees welp guess it’s time to just sleep on the job

I am having this problem currently at bath and body works in Greensboro NC how do I get an attorney to help me?
I suggest you reach out to an attorney in Greensboro. Try searching for an employment attorney near you on google.
If I have a case against company A but company A isnt solvent. Could I collect from company B, which has been recieving money from company A?

▪✔Liability, ▪✔Damages, and ▪✔Collegiality
Almost! The third one is collectibility. But collegiality is always helpful!
