    Good information, I've been on paid administrative leave for going on 15 months now. These employers are out to get us whistleblowers.

    As an employee I wish we didn't have to submit the production of evidence to the other side - it gives them a chance to change their narrative and prepare not to get caught up in their lies.

    Going through this now because I'm Autistic. Denied all accommodations because " we don't do things that way here, it's too much paperwork" and " accommodations are only for people in wheelchairs" being denied training needed because " they think you're slow because of your disability"

    We need safety net for 40+ yr olds; that discriminated from jobs due to age. Politicians get longterm jobs yet no job for 40+ yr olds citizens.

      You can get all copies of forms in your employment file by filing a complaint with the "Department of Labor". That's what I did and they made the employer mail me all of my file.

    I filed a complaint with the EEOC and submitted 140 pieces of evidence. I caught the former employer’s attorney lying over and over in her position statement. I filed a strong rebuttal. I don’t know where to go from here Please help!

    • @jep23452
      @jep23452  7 месяцев назад +3

      The EEOC is a waste of time. The EEOC has no real power. If you have a real case of discrimination with clear evidence, then you should be able to find a lawyer. In real cases, you almost never get what the case is worth unless your lawyer is willing to file a lawsuit and do the work.

      @@jep23452 I rustled up a good amount of documentation and the lawyer really seemed to me like he wasn`t willing to put in the work. His paralegal didn`t even know what DEI meant when I brought that up in our initial conversation. He did offer a free consultation but he`s been the only one to reach out from LegalMatch (locally) I am still employed with the company so thats still a hurdle for me at the moment

      @jep23452 Why do you call it a waste of time? We have to first go through the EEOC in order to sue, right?

I filed an EEOC complaint. While i was hospitalized i was now given a temp reasonable accomodation. What can i do

    Why would an HR department, try to file a workers comp on your behalf when you told them not to? while you consistently asked HR to address the workplace concern you brought to their attention?
