This story is not about a split second decision - it’s about coercive control and domestic abuse and women being killed across the world by their partners. He regrets nothing except how he can’t carry on with his own life. No regret about how he treated her for many years and then killed her senselessly.
I wish this episode could have ended with some sort of a message regarding domestic violence. Even a kind of reflection on whether many other women who are in similar situations could watch out for certain red flags, or like a guide for what they can do when they feel unsafe in such relationships. A lost chance
It wasn't just about the split second when he committed the murder, it was about the abuse that he caused to his wife before it happened. Because he thought he owned her and could control her the way he wanted, he had the audacity to shoot her when he felt that she was cheating on him. Ironically he had his own affairs but he didn't have the patience to actually confirm if his wife was actually having an affair. I'm sure he regretted killing her only because he realised that his life had now changed for the worse. If he had true regrets, he would have gone to the police station instead of trying to dispose of her body in one of the most disturbing ways possible. Indian judicial system is based on the British policies and unsurprisingly a murder doesn't cause an actual life sentence. He got a second chance at life but what about the fact that he deprived his wife the right to do what she wanted and he happy? I hope he lives reminder of his sorry life in the most difficult way possible.
I do not believe any shit that comes out of a vindictive man. I wish he stayed in prison for the rest of his natural life. Naina didn’t get a second chance, why should he?
True, after all he's a murderer. But you know, this is Indian law and it sucks. Indian law lets off a young boy in Pune who runs over an innocent couple just with a 300 word essay only because he's son of a rich person. That's how messed up our country's system is
Sushil was manipulative and controlling. Naina was an intelligent and beautiful woman who had a wonderful life ahead. Sushil ruined it all due to his evil nature. He must rot in jail. He is a psychopath. He himself had many affairs and assaulted Naina under the influence of alcohol. He should have just Naina go. He could have left her . Both of them would have been happy. Sick man Sushil.
this story is not about a split second decision at all. It's about a controlling, abusive man who caged a woman who was full of ambition and potential, married her on his terms but didn't respect the marriage enough to make it official, subjected his wife to physical, emotional abuse, was disloyal throughout the marriage, and ALL of this culminated in the final act of murder - horrendous murder in cold blood. And the fact that he tried to use his political connections to evade punishment goes to show that he didn't feel remorse over taking a life so brutally, and whatever regret he shows now is not for the life he took but for all the time that he spent in jail, away from his family. Idk why the tone of the podcast turned sympathetic towards this horrible man

Everything is great expect that “Review session with Aishwarya” right in the middle of the story. Breaks the flow for real.
Wish if Matloob has picked up her visa earlier and she would have moved away from her husband.
I honestly love this channel😊

I absolutely love your videos. But can we not categorize ourselves as brown. It’s not ok to categorize us as brown. You can simple say Indian.
Brown is a umbrella term for the entirety of southern asian including india, pakistan, Bangladesh, nepal, etc.
So it would be even more misleading to say just indian.
Desi hai to hindi me rakho 😂😂
Sir, south Indians bhi sunn Rahe honge?

@@kerenkgowd for these people desi means hindi. i bet they don't even know that we don't have any national language.
Correct Hindi isn't a national language but Hindi is understood by mostly everyone in Indian that's not the case with English
