This is like the Lizzie Borden case where the woman killed all the members of the family. Very tragic. Very nicely presented ..thank you. Shabnam was a complete psychopath. Anyone who can kill her own family in cold blood would have killed anyone. She didnt even spare the baby ..

The daughter of the house had married from a lower caste, and she was the only one the father had refused to give an inheritance. This led her and her husband (though he was initially against it) to murder her entire family. Also, I think there was a woman from Tamil Nadu/ Andhra hanged in independent India before this.

Those things are not vulgar either in many people's view. So why did it bother you so much that a person who has a higher (or let's say different) standard of modesty found her dress to be vulgar? I am sure your great great grandparents would have found her clothes very vulgar. Were they bad people? Just because you have gotten used to seeing certain clothes, doesn't mean they are not / cannot be "vulgar" to someone else.

On one side of my family, all of my ancestors received special permission to marry their partners because they were of a different religion…a Catholic married a Jew, a Muslim married a Quaker, generation after generation my family has letters from senior religious representatives giving permission (or just acknowledging the fact) for them to marry outside of their religion.
One of my close friends in school told me that since her mom already had six kids, they had to get a special dispensation from the Pope that it was okay to wear condoms. lol.
Ok i paused this at 12min 11sec to take my guess. This from the start reminded of a story my cousin told me on one of visits to India. When a guy or girl wanted to do the horizontal tango the girl would drug the dinner put the family to sleep and the couple would pursue there studies in the working of the human anatomy.😊

What makes you think Hindi is the only sane Indian language that is shared by everyone? I am from the south and I know a descent bit of Hindi. If they did it completely in Hindi, there is no way a lot of people would understand it.

First of all, I am not Indian but I too know that India has a lot of languages, and some people don't even know hindi. Desi also means Bangladeshi, Pakistani and more. Be more educated will you!
Desi is not only hindi. We got 22 languages cuz its a diverse country filled with different states, cultures and languages and they can talk in any language they want.
