This is absolutely more desirable than the large one. Cheaper, more convenient to display and in my opinion a more pleasing colour.
This was My first moped back at 17, back in the day I was embarrassed by it but now I think it's cool because it's old.
Definitely planning to get the larger one, however this for me was a day 1 purchase. Inexpensive, displays really well with the Creator Expert vehicle line up. And about perfect for a 6" Deadpool if you have one.
The designer is a mathematical genius! Definitely getting one of these!
I love it. It's nice that Lego thought of the younger market that can't afford the large one here. I hope they do this for all Large Scale Creator vehicles in the future (make a smaller one for the people on a budget).
Does it scale with a toa mata? Or is it closer to 2003 matoran scale?

I have family who would probably love this just for nostalgia alone. As a Lego fan I’m just struck by the shaping quality
honesty the price point on this feels truly incredible. the overall size and and the refined look of it is just wonderful

Just like with The Dark Knight's Tumbler, I appreciate Lego released a big version and a small version. I hope in all cases Lego does this more people get the small version to show them there is a demand for great display sets that aren't 20+ inches, like the Speed Champions line. In most cases I'd rather have a lot of smaller sets than one huge set taking up an entire shelf.
I so wish Lego would've made a $50 Vespa that was on the scale of the Fiat instead of the giant $100 one. Would've been perfect to put these two side by side.
This is great! I'd love to see them do this for other Creator Expert sets as well. Sometimes I like a vehicle but simply don't have the space or funds for the big version, so a small version is greatly appreciated
This looks like My first Moped, I cant remember the name if it was a Vesper but it was 70s or 80s only went 30mph 50cc and I was embarrassed to ride it because it was not cool. Well that's what I thought at 17 so traded it in for Jalera DNA.
I managed to use the pieces to create an espresso mug and saucer as an alt-build. ☕️ Now to make something else so it becomes a 3-in-1… 🤔
I'd imagine this would look great along side the Fiat 500 (10271 or 77942)
Yeah it would look good, the Porsche is one of the bigger Expert cars (the scale is kinda creeping up)

I have just bought this set and it was great fun to build ! Looks so funky, so nice to leave out on display ! Lego have nailed this and all for $10 ! £9 uk.
Looks nicer than the larger model. This, despite fewer pieces, less flexibility for the designer for sourcing parts and the much smaller size, the build somehow manages to be very clean looking and accurate at the same time. In my opinion this one is even better the new Speed Champion Lamborghini Countach or the Ferrarri.

It’s too squat. It’s too wide and looks more like a DKR Capella than a Vespa. Nevertheless, it’s alright!

Built it today and love it more than the big set. Of course had to replace the dbg Technic plate with a red one, but now it's perfect.

The expert was too much this one is maybe too little. Looks quite good but can’t stop to think that with a little more budget ($30-40), we could have something really good.

Gould have used 2 of the 2x2 inverted tiles and then a 1x2 modified plate with studs on side(bracket) and add a 1x2 gauge piece. Problem solved

As an Italian, this vespa is really good and accurate for 10€!

I didnt get the large set. I only get this little one. I dont like the size and colour of the large one. Really really enjoy this set. The colour is way better than the baby blue one

Well, this set is pretty cool! I had an interesting thought, Lego should make 2 more of the same Vespa sets in different colors! Then you'd have yourself a little "fleet" of Vespas! Just an idea! 😉
great review, really swayed me away from the bigger one lol. tho i wish you would’ve compared it to the fiat. i just visited italy and the place is FULL of those two vehicles. would’ve been nice to see if they scale well with each other since i’d love to have the two as a reminder of that trip.
