Hello, the exterior mirror on the driver's door was not mandatory on passenger cars when the Fiat 500 was released. In France for example, its assembly only became compulsory in November 1969
This is one of the best reviews I've seen for the Fiat 500 - and we've built and reviewed this set on our channel ! Really nice work @RacingBrick - I liked your approach on reviewing each phases of the build, that is a thorough insightful look into the assembling process.
Fiat 500 is for Italy like the VW bug is for Germany. It was the car for the people and it was very simple. In the 500 is much smaller than the beetle. I would like for LEGO to do a set of The Citroen 2CV, The tiny car of France.
As for those color locked axles, I believe it's also a case making it easy to find them, considering any LEGO set may be given to someone as their very first LEGO building experience. It seems that since this is a Creator set, black axles are easier to find from the pile of sand yellow and other bricks, and there aren't many Technic axles in Creator sets. In Technic sets, the red axles stand out from the pile of other Technic pieces and there are lots of axles included in Technic sets.
I totally get the idea behind color coding and most of the times I'm fine with it. But there are several Technic sets where e.g. some of the red 2L axles are in a very visible position and a black one would be much better. Don't know why can't LEGO add red and black ones to the same set and use the black ones only in critical positions. Same goes for the blue 3L pins.
gud review my friend,I received s notification in my English extra lesson and I wanted so badly to finish, now I'm in home, having pleasure of this review ^^
Fun fact about Fiat 500,Its main car driven by MC in Legendary anime Lupin III(same name MC Is grandson of Arsene Lupin(thief gentleman) And is big international thief )(btw that anime started in 70s And Is still going)
Little easter egg: the little yellow car in the colloseum set is supposed to be the fiat 500. If you look at the painting of this set, it is exactly were the yellow car is placed near the colloseum
Pls moterize it, I'd love to see it drive around , love ya amazing vids Ok look I don't wanna do it myself , I don't have any prices to moterize it or the set either , so pls ur the good builder after all
If you have zero experience with this stuff then it requires tons of practice to sound like a normal human being on video :) I still need to learn a lot, but thanks for the positive feedback!
