Interesting thing about the scale of this model, is that it's pretty close to the scale of the Star Wars buildable figures. So if you ever wanted to have Darth Vader riding a Vespa, now's your chance!
This literally the first review I've see that didn't gloss over the engine detail or the removable cover. Also great breakdown of all the stages/building techniques. Really surprised how well this turned out though it's a lot larger than any of the other creator Expert vehicles so scaling next to them doesn't really work. Having built the smaller red one it's about perfect though still probably a bit large. Also the tour of the setup was pretty neat to see.
The box part has always had an axle hole I remember that bc I had the 2013 for station set and that pax was what was on fire and the axle was to keep the flame part inside
4:55 IIRC those long boxes did always have that axle hole, with the stud connection in the center of the bottom of the piece, though I’m gonna guess that piece is new in that color! And about the bars that can just keep on rotating, it means you can do endless barspins when catching some air! In all seriousness, I’m sure there’s some, not too hard, way to limit the bar movement, and I’m betting that on the real Vespa, it can’t do that, as a bar end would hit the rider, you’d tear the wires and hoses out of the front, etc.
You kinda nailed it, but disturbingly on the real Vespas, the only thing limiting the turn was the cables. So yeah it could spin all the way if stressed enough breaking every cable in there
@@The_RC_Dude so no hoses. The electrical all ran straight down the front and never was a major issue but over time could get sheared. Broken clutch cables are a common issue. I think there a couple more things limiting the spin but not a hard limit. They are kinda like a bicycle that way your bikes break cables stop a 360 spin, nothing in the way it's built
Can't wait to see what you do with your new studio. Just got my Vespa a couple of days ago. Another great review! You should play Gran Turismo 7. So many beautiful cars in that game. I was picturing all of them in brick and technic form. LOL!
I just built one today. I agree that it requires some balancing skills to have the helmet stay on the handle. Other than that, I like this design, especially the blue colour.
Thanks for your video ,very instructive. I have trouble with the front part of the Vespa. I am not able to assemble the part strongly!! Can you help me ? Is there a specific technic to make the parts connect properly ? Thank you, and excuse me if I bother you
Built this over the weekend, I had to. It was a Moral Imperative, as I don't get a chance to ride my actual Vespa much right now. Very much enjoyed the build, and yes, most of the enjoyment came from it being rather different from the usual vehicle builds.
hello and congratulations for the channel and for your collection. I confirm that in the real Vespa it is absolutely not possible to turn the handlebar 360 degrees.
First of all I refuse to believe putting on the engine cover was that easy. I’ve been trying to find the placement for the cover over the engine for about 2hrs now and I just looked it up and I’m still having problems it feels like engine is too high up and it’s not leveled correctly because of the flat 8piece resting on top of the engine part nothing is missing my ocd can’t I see the gap I’ve tripled checked the instructions I’m at my limit if anyone has an idea or can explain what’s up I’d greatly appreciate it
It was a design fault. I'm building mine 4 months late and using the digital instructions. And Lego has changed the parts used for step 239 to fix the problem we have with the 2x4 plate. I have ordered the two parts shown in the digital instructions.
The reason you can’t put the helmet on the handle bar is because you didn’t do the front end right. I can set my helmet on the handle bar just fine. You’re not suppose to be able to do a full 360 degree turn like that lol. Look at 7:26 see the big gap in the front end? You don’t have it connected good enough too the part on the frame of the handle bars. Pull up on the wheel and push down on center of handlebars and that’ll push them together better.
Lol... I enjoy clever System builds, like Speed Champions or the recent Creator Expert cars. The beginning of this one was a bit boring, lots of repetition and part stacking.

Maybe some of the bigger mechs fit, the Star Wars figures look like a kid on it :)
GROOT fit !

I need to sleep but i will just watch for maybe a few minutes
Edit: i haven't slept all night
That's not good
Same

Congratulations to the new studio Balázs, and nice nod to Tiago :D
This set is coming in the mail today, very excited! This blue color is my favorite, and the Vespa is such a beautiful iconic bike.
Well, it’s a scooter.

@@timgil7830 Thanks! That's...not good, yikes! 😬😬 So in a crash, you could rip out a throttle or brake cable/hose?

Looking for Tiago in the comments...
[One eternity later]
Nope, still not found him! :D
Lol, although I'm sure he watches all of my videos because of course he does, maybe he didn't see the notifications popping up yet :D
I really like the color - it looks great with the blue Fiat 500. It's a great set in my opinion to display in your living room.
Great review of the vespa and you are always a reference. Nice to sweat again even if you are halfway through work
Luca and Alberto gonna be happ bois after seeing this lmao.
Your studio : my dream !
Maybe I told already, but you are the best. Period.
You should get the smaller one that’s red as they look great together
One of my favorite sets. Great review, as always a reference. Got mine on Tuesday. I've to start the build.
3:37
This submodel uses 2x4 black tile in illegal way so it does not fit properly. They fixed it in v2
I would love to see Honda Cubs coming soon
See the building process I am less excited but I still want the set because it’s such a famous vehicle
Thanks for your video ,very instructive.
I have trouble with the front part of the Vespa. I am not able to assemble the part strongly!!
Can you help me ?
Is there a specific technic to make the parts connect properly ?
Thank you, and excuse me if I bother you
Helmet always goes on the back seat that's why Lego has that image for the front of the box.
3:55 we need to move,😂 Tiago is coming with a knife🤣
I get the reference to Tiago Catarino
*GOT

I know this is an old video but I think that the tank's cap is in the wrong position, it shouldn't go under the seat
Thanks! Looking forward to assembling mine this week :-)
Can u pls review technic John Deere tractor
I will, in 1-2 weeks
Wonderfully detailed review. Thanks.
4:55 yea I believe they always had axle holes
love the look of the engine!
I received mine two days ago. Thanks for the informative video. Looking forward to my build.
Great job as always ! Thank you !
Really very cute, thanks for the explanation and the building, amazing as usual.
Wishing you all good luck with boxing and moving to the new place. 😘
Can you give more details about the shelves please?
Those wheels would be great for a rat rod. I wonder.
This is a perfect set, i mean come on, and for the price ! I had it for 85 euros with shipping.
Nice review - from New Zealand.
You can buy a light kit off Amazon for this kit
That’s cool!

Same problem :(

Wow, i ❤It!!!😍😍😍
Those new wheels... If only they were bigger, I would have bought them...
4:54 as far as I remember, yes they did.
Bellissimo 💖
Love your vid !
Where did you get those shelves? I’m having trouble finding glass shelves with lights that aren’t several thousand dollars.

Pushed it together fully, still can do a complete 360 degree turn...¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Nice studio! Wish I have the space 😏
I LOVE THIS
I sort of want this, but I can’t help but feel it’s expensive for the piece count. 🤷♂️
John Deere when ? :D
I still need to buy it... past weeks were chaos with all the things to arrange, and now I'm sick as a dog, so it might still require a week or two.
Hungary 🇭🇺 Vs Portugal 🇵🇹 ...👏🏼😋🤤
Needs mirrors imo.
The frictionless pin was also in the monster jam shark set right?
It was in these sets - rebrickable.com/parts/65249/technic-axle-pin-3l-with-no-friction-ridges-and-2l-axle/15/
@@RacingBrick thx
You pronounced Vespa good
Does the scale match the vw busses?
Not at all
@@RacingBrick hát akkor talán eszt a vespát ki hagyom haha
cool :D
I'm so annoyed for the horrible suspensions
Third. Wow I can't believe it only has two views right now.😆
Want Vespa?
Buy a real one, ride it and have a good time
You are EXACTLY the opposite of Tiago! :)
You don't enjoy system as much as technic :)
Lol... I enjoy clever System builds, like Speed Champions or the recent Creator Expert cars. The beginning of this one was a bit boring, lots of repetition and part stacking.
Too bad those are not printed blocks...
Magyar vagy?
Another overpriced set I mean the design is nice but only just over 1000pieces
