Such a detailed video! I would never buy one but dang I watched every minute because you explained every piece especially the propellers and rudders. Lego also went above and beyond on this piece.
Olympic was better, for many reasons. Olympic was the first ship on this scale. Titanic was slightly heavier but only got so much press because of the disaster.
@@TayebMC Considering how similar they were, and that Titanic actually featured improvements to Olympic's layout, it's somewhat safe to say that Titanic was subjectively better than Olympic. Of course, Titanic never got much chance to shine with these improvements. Olympic was refitted to be safer, and some of Titanic's improvements were given to Olympic over the years. Britannic was supposed to be better than both of her earlier sisters, but she also never got the chance to shine as she was pressed into war service. Fun fact: while Titanic was slightly heavier than Olympic (as in total displacement), the real reason why Titanic was considered larger than Olympic was entirely due to her having more usable interior space.
When the 1st rumours appeared I thought, too big, not interested. As soon as the 1st picture of the box surfaced, the only question was, day 1, or am I patient enough to wait for offers... I'm not patient!

I'm still happy I bought this thing. _Yes,_ it's expensive as all hell but it's perfect. I'll admit, I went through _hell_ for building it for an entire week and I screwed up on some steps on the Bow and Stern, but that went all out of the window the minute I completed the entire set. My only criticism is that I feel the masts feel a bit...bent-like due to the strings, but I did notice that issue with some others who completed the set
if anybody asks, the hardest part will be the engines because they tend to fall apart more than go together while putting them together but other than that, when i built mine, i had a great time also this new "TITANIC" lego model is the LARGEST set LEGO has EVER released
That is one awesome lego set! All the details, how complex it is, it looks stunning. Just amazing. Youre lucky to afford something so cool to have in your house. Awesome awesome awesome
It would have been a nice set if they would have worked on the body of the ship a bit better. The bow is completely wrong built, it wasn‘t straight, also the water level is a bit too high, same goes for the propeller positions and that wrong round areas in the black areas. Also something that absolutely triggers me is that she ship is also way too slim at the front. Also that the flag of the white star line is missing makes it incomplete as well.
Exactly! Couldn't agree more! The bow is what hurts my eyes the most, and it's a big 'but why' to me in an all together quite amazingly well built model.

Such a detailed video! I would never buy one but dang I watched every minute because you explained every piece especially the propellers and rudders. Lego also went above and beyond on this piece.
As someone from Belfast (where the Titanic was built) I can wholeheartedly say that Lego has perfectly replicated our greatest creation.
Olympic was better, for many reasons. Olympic was the first ship on this scale. Titanic was slightly heavier but only got so much press because of the disaster.
@@TayebMC nah mate, Titanic was always going to be the Jewel in our crown. Even if she and Brittanic both had longer careers. Titanic was special
American flag on a British ship
When the 1st rumours appeared I thought, too big, not interested.
As soon as the 1st picture of the box surfaced, the only question was, day 1, or am I patient enough to wait for offers... I'm not patient!

I absolutely love this set but I definitely won't be getting it. Reason being I can't justify £600 for a Lego set
Buy it as an investment then 😉
@@mrglide7078 I feel like you and the devil on my shoulder would get on remarkably well lmao
Yeah Id love to own this or the Star Wars Milennium Falcon or Star Destroyer, but the size and mostly the price tags are way more than I can justify spending on Lego.
Too bad they forgot illumination inside the ship. Would have been fantastic seeing light coming through the portholes.
Spectacular reveal/review. At 800 CND I don't have either the budget/space to display this, but this IMO is one worth saving up VIP points for. Really like how densely it's structurally built, and the attention to detail is next level.
My wallet already crying rn😭 I want this now but idk where to put I don’t have a study or office
Now it's time for a Lego iceberg
I cannot wait for a designer video on this. I want more info on the builds origin and story! Excellent review, SUBSCRIBED!
The functioning pistons is probably the coolest part of the build.
Yes it is cool when seemingly random angles come together. That is one thing I really enjoy about building lego sets.
A truly beautiful LEGO set. I wish I had a bigger room to display this work of art!
if anybody asks, the hardest part will be the engines because they tend to fall apart more than go together while putting them together
but other than that, when i built mine, i had a great time
also this new "TITANIC" lego model is the LARGEST set LEGO has EVER released
I dreamt of building this at this scale as a child. Now if I could only justify the price tag!!
Now the million dollar question: Does it come with pieces to make an iceberg??
Do they have Jack and Rose mini figures included in it?
Lego haven't been very generous with the lifeboats. Doesn't look like enough for a ship that big. Otherwise a nice model.
Wow, that set is amazing!
Wanna know more? Weight? Exact dimensions? Shortest shelf to put on? How does it look like next to the Saturn V? And most importantly, DOES IT FIT ON THE CAR TRANSPORTER? Click here - ruclips.net/video/uraYzyrbtvo/видео.html
Hi
Yup one very important question. Does it float?????
@@Snooch-wi6yq first question my son asked!
Now replace the insides with foam and add motors! Great review! I love this set!
There goes my money
Didn't put legos together for 25y, but if there is one set I want to make in my lifetime, it will be this one! 👌🏻😍
Lego truely is amazing, creating so much detail in small areas
Now I wish they would do a set like this for an old wooden tall ship like HMS Victory or maybe The Vasa
Excellent review.
I’ve never built a lego set. Ever… I want this to be my first one. I can do it.
No brick built iceberg?
Cobi had one in the Special Edition of their model.
I had no idea lego had gotten so complex. like with the thing you did with your phone.
The bow looks a little too short, but otherwise very impressive!
Jeget nem is adnak hozzá? Úgy lenne az igazi 😉
That is one massive build. Love the random interior build colors. This is one set I'd like to get as a show piece. 🙃
Why would you like any sort of random colors on the interior? That just hurts my eyes and is really really sad for such a set price..
But w/o interior details such as the grand VIP lounge...👎
I understand how you feel about small sections joining together to make something cool and weird combinations of bricks. I recently built the lego space shuttle and it was a lot like this
Discovery was an fun build I even got custom pieces for the arm and shuttle hatch to make it more accurate to the shuttle
Wow. Somehow I did not know this existed. Undoubtedly the greatest, most beautiful, Lego set available today.
Great review as always. Also this is a really impressive set! I'm not interested to buy such a set, however, looks fun to rent this set for a month.
De szép. De a Millenium Falcon-t is nehéz volt elhelyezni.
First person to mod this set to a sinking/sunken diorama wins!
Before you buy, watch Titanic: The Shocking Truth
now this might be a set ill have to get
When I was 12-13 I was so obsessed with the Titanic. I found the ship and the sinking very interesting and the scary idea that such an amazing ship will forever lie on the ocean floor disintegrating in the darkness. Many years later I still find myself fascinated by the Titanic, mostly on the construction of the ship and how it was built back then.
EDIT: Awesome video as always
i got this set about 6 months after releae no regrets i took my time about 1 month
This set opens up a world of iconic disaster based sets. I want the World Trade Center next!!!!
The Twin Towers would looks so beautiful, and the detail inside could have tons of potential!
@@Cardgames4children ikr
@@Cardgames4children Also includes two planes! (Insensitive jokes aside, that would have been an awesome set for this year. Maybe for the 25th?)
Are you going to post this moronic comment on every video about this set🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
@@Jabber-ig3iw haha maybe
