Shoutout to the adults who let the kids watch when they were obviously interested and invested. Good to see parents let their little ones watch skaters, instead of ushering them onwards cause it’s “not appropriate” or too loud or whatever.
Honestly, as somebody that likes skating and did it myself, i dont think i would let my kids watch somebody throwing himself down 16 stairs over and over again

Ngl i tend to land tricks ive been trying for a while when i roll up confident and relaxed but ready. Im at the point where i get the feeling im going to land it next try and im somewhat accurate just from feeling how comfortable i am rolling up to it
What I find fascinating about skaters is that they keep trying until they achieve what they wanted to achieve, no matter how often they fall. It's so inspiring
for real. whenever i see clips from england i can just imagine how fucked up the ground must be. American roads and pavements (LA in particular) look like they were crafted in Heaven compared to our chunky ass ground.
The guy in the video (Slim) actually got messaged by one of the women with the kids who were clapping. The kids had just started skating so they were hyped to see him trying the trick. Thats what skatings all about.
Back in the 90s when I skated, a fs 180 boneless was already an old school trick 😀. Great to see it again, and then with 16 stairs - this is insane!!!👍

I think you have to have a certain style to really pull that off and make it look good, and he certainly does. Tricks like that are actually pretty gnarly for that reason. I couldn't do it. I mean, even if I could do the trick, which I can't, I would look like crap doing it.
Boneless is a trick I basically got down 100 percent and to see something like this is really inspiring to me, this is insane with the height and everything
No Respect by Thrasher to this man, who persevered, dedicated his body, and showed absolute perseverance to execute flawlessly. Despite that, it's obvious he would have pursued his goal with or without their acknowledgement. 100 Respect.
This is a powerful simile that represents our struggle as we negotiate the hurdles that this thing called life puts in our way. The joy, hugs and smiles make it all worthwhile. That was an epic boneless!
Few weeks back I was doing some carpet skating realized I was late for something ran out to my car slipped on some ice and that was it for me, I was done . Couldnt do anything really physical for days but now I see this guy taking huge slams in some icey condition getting up and doing it all over to again, hats off to yea man.... Honestly I hate boneless's but this clip makes me wanna try em. His style and smooth approach is just fantastic
And the crowd goes wild. A trick from my youth right here. Never seen it done this big before. My guy had some serious hang time. Slim worked hard for this one. My ankles hurt just watching this.👏👏👍👍

well it would in most cases be because of how dangerous it is, not because of the noise...
Nothing gets me more stoked to see people cheer on skaters in the street
If anything it teaches the kids a lesson about how you keep trying , even if you fall, until you succeed and never give up.

I do, because I can’t Ollie lmao
Thats exactly what i was thinking, not ollie, not kickflip, but just straight boneless...
