Bro, you're such a G! I appreciate this tutorial as boneless is one of my favourite tricks i want to master. I'm literally watching this right now after coming out of the hospital last night, since unfortunately I fractured my foot and ripped tendons in my ankle whilst attempting a 'rock to fakie' on a ramp at my local skatepark. It happened so fast as I was riding goofy and my left ankle rolled inwards and crunched hard under me and for the first time I physically felt and heard that kinda sound 😬 Now i'm out of action for at least 6-8 weeks, wearing a moon boot and using crutches.. It really sucks since I was making solid progress for the past 2 months that I've been back on the board after a 15 year hiatus.. You've earnt yourself a sub and I look forward to getting more virtual mentorship from ya bro! All the best from Western Australia 🦘😎🤙🏽
great tutorial! remember everyone that a "simple/easy" skateboard trick is still a skateboard trick, so it's not really easy. only relative to some other tricks you can learn is it relatively easy. also until it looks that smooth and high, it's probably gonna take alot of practice. I am so glad I finally got the hang of it after watching this video. still my boneless does look rather amateurish, but I am happy anyway and love to practice it. the tuck knee is a great tipp that I've not seen in any other tutorial and most people I see at the park don't do it.
That’s the first time I see an explanation of a ruck-knee and a stink bug boneless. I’ve never paid attention to that, thanks man, need to try that out!
You are a really great instructor dude, thank you so much for this video! I didn’t understand anything about boneless and every time I had someone explain and show me IRL I still didn’t get anything. You made it crystal clear in less than 8 minutes. Thank you again!
VERY IMPORTANT TO GRAB FIRST! My thumb joint slipped outta place (went back into place right after) because the board popped into it as I went to grab. Still sore 2 months later.
holy shit how did it never occur to me, in my 1 year so far of skating, to practice crouching down and grabbing the board while riding, without doing the whole boneless??? awesome vid dude!!!
Think of it like an Ollie, suck your back knee up into your chest and keep it there for as long as you can. Also let go of the board at the peak of your jump so it levels out a little. You'll still land on your tail first but still roll away regardless.
I could do this years ago, but I never did the around the knee thing, I could still get a full tweak on it, but I was pretty damn flexible back then. I'm just getting back on a board at 36 after about a 15 year break, so I feel like I need a refresher course after learning the hard way that I can't still just do everything! Rolling was what shocked me the most, because I couldn't even do that to start with. It came back pretty fast, but I wish I'd realised before I went for a running start, that didn't quite look as smooth as it used to, with me ending up on the floor after looking like a penguin learning to waddle! 🤣 Some great tips in there, keep up the good work.
Loved your presentation and you appear to be the only person I've seen suggest tuck kneed. I still can't work out how people can actually take the front foot off the deck before grabbing it, it seems to defy physics. Anyway thanks for posting.
I remember when I first tried to do a boneless without instructions thinking it would be so easy and then I feel like I'm gonna break my legs doing it LMAO.
I love this trick. The Boneless 180 Is one of my normal bank ramp tricks when I'm park skating and ready to go back in to hit a ledge or rail, its a great filler trick to add to a line and looks really cool.
I thought I did an alright beginner boneless for the first time today but after watching this and comparing it to yours I don't know what I did. Think I'll call it a stinkbug stiffy 🤣
Im definitely going to have to learn this. I wanna do so many cool things on my board but I am way too uncoordinated to do them :( This is gonna work wonders instead of busting my ass trying to ollie. Ty mate🥺 Edit: I can do it fine not moving. Same with ollie. I just cannot for the love of God get my tail off the ground. I've tried these tricks for so long and get nothing but frustration and razortail. I'm done with these tricks. It ain't fun anymore :( Edit 2: I'm effin back and want to learn this shi no matter how uncoordinated my ass is

Genuinely solid tutorial! First time I've seen one that really points out the tuck knee thing

VERY IMPORTANT TO GRAB FIRST! My thumb joint slipped outta place (went back into place right after) because the board popped into it as I went to grab. Still sore 2 months later.

Boneless was my favorite trick back in the 80s. Looks cool jumping off curbs and different levels. Tucking the knee is a great tip.
This is a good tutorial I’d be cool if you did more
The tuck knee is a game changer, thanks!
中 4:36 。 谢谢你老师。Legit did not know about the "stink bug" aspect so moving my back knee in makes it feel so much better.
Looks good, show your method of doing it off bank and then quarter pipe next. Tutorials!!
i like the way this fussy teacher deliver his presentation..subs in
"Landing it is easy"
Me, slamming my tail on the ground before my front foot is back on: *Hmmmmm*

One of the most famous tricks. Easy peasy! loving there is direction for it though. Wee folks please learn! :)
I remember when I first tried to do a boneless without instructions thinking it would be so easy and then I feel like I'm gonna break my legs doing it LMAO.
Nice fucking breakdown bro. Looking forward to more of your videos.
Put some wax on those truck hanger pivot points and it won't squeak. Pro tip. From me. 😀
