Typical skateboards have 7 plys. Cheaper boards will use 8 or 9 plys of cheaper wood.

here's where space bearings are important: that widening of the bearing housing is due to the additional stress placed on those walls when turning, the spacers would keep those wheels as tight as when new, coz all the alignment stress between nearings is placed on them instead of the housing alone.

Blanks are great. I could care less about skate brands, they don’t care about us! 😂 a board is a board. Most top brands get their stuff from Taiwan, China ETC so it’s no big deal for me

I'm on my 2nd Moose deck & they're an incredible value. I have it set up with 159s & Rough Riders.

Im on moose board #2. Love these boards. The first one i got i thought they were gonna be shit and i put mine through hell and it took the beating like a champ. These seem to have good pop and i run 169s and mini cubics with 1.5 rails, risers and sometimes copers if the pool is that bad. Even with all that weight it still pops nice.

I had a Powell McGill skull/snake reissue. It had a nose like that but a bit more of a ‘pig’ shape than a ‘fish’ shape, not as much taper at the back truck

The shape looks good and familiar like ‘88-‘89ish. The one with the vinyl graphic looks sick. I used to get the 5 packs of blank popsicle decks, they were cheaper but it was probably 20 years ago

I think those decks are Canadian made. So maybe you’re supporting local after all.

There are literally a billion backside air tutorials on youtube, but this is the best one ever. Somehow, this is the most basic trick that nobody knows how to explain. Maybe I'll finally learn this. Thanks.

I love skating the reissues!!I've thought about trying a Natas. I really enjoy my Hawk, and the Roskopp face was great also.

That flow bowl section at Bonsor / Metrotown that you're not a fan of is great for beginner skaters. Not a lot of open banked bowls to learn how to pump around in throughout the greater vancouver area.
