Thanks for the video! what type of hose is that? I see you have a metal attachment on the inlet to be able to put the hose on there, curious how about that setup. Did you get it for $500 new, if so where? thank again
Thank you. ! Yes, this is the 2 inch Hose with threaded ends which comes standard on this particular suction hose. 2 inch NPT threads from the factory. The hose can be purchased at water pumps Direct online, or even at a local Harbor Freight store. This can be coupled to quick connect camlock fittings on the inlet and outlet as well. Yes, $500. New
What’s the maximum height the generator can be from the river (suction line)? Can it suck water from about 8 metre’s higher than the river and then pump about 30 metres?
My experience with this unit is that it will pump sufficiently with a 90m hose from a 9m elevation. pump is no more than 2m above the river however it is pulling from the same ~ 8m hose
No, not really needed, because the truth is the engine is constantly under a load with these pumps. I did it for peace of mind. The most important is to change the oil after the first few hours of use.
Thanks for commenting Sean. Yes, it is important to start with low increasing to middle, then full throttle and variable with any engine in the 4 stroke breed. It would awesome if you would subscribe to my channel ! It would be nifty to get a comment from Hollywood Hamilton ! There are 3 playlists, and some neat stuff to see. - Thanks again. Jeff -NY
Nice to meet you

I've never broke in one of these on any one that I've owned. Why is it important? Do you start with low throttle and for how long? ty
