I loved this sooooo much! Sewing historic clothes, actually wearing them, and reenactment battle, perfect!! I'd love to see more, perhaps Martina could expand her outfit with proper Viking helmet and shoes? Martina actually going out of her comfort zone and challenging her fears is so worthy of respect, it's an art a lot of people seem to have forgotten these days.
I remember vividly watching that ship and telling my father: "There's no way that's the real crew, they can't syncronize the rowing at all!", and we had a laugh. If it wheren't for Martina's wig I'd might recognized her and say her name loud enough and waved.
They're all lucky Nori didnt have his battle armour on or there would be fields of dead vikings and Martina happily painting in the tent! Loved the little gladiator wheat shot too, what a fun video!
Who would have thought that Vikings are the sweetest people on earth! This looked like SO much fun and was equally fun to watch. Thanks for the adventure!
Martina it's so nice seeing you genuinely smile with the team during the battle. That's just pure enjoyment and fun while forgetting about the cameras. Heartwarming and makes me more motivated to try new things.
My favorite videos are the ones where Martina pushes herself outside her "comfort zone." The energy and excitement to try anything and everyone is very contagious! You guys are an inspiration to so many! Keep on keeping on!!!
lets just take a moment to appreciate the fact she somehow managed to do her full makeup every morning out in complete nature for a week without a sink or proper mirror and lighting
The thought just occurred to me. Now that she has general knowledge of armed combat. Does that mean we'll be getting more medieval themed outfits from her? I'd be down for her to add some weapons to her gear set.
After seeing them as vikings, i kinda want to see them as star wars heroes now. Martina next project should be (must be) a light saber. I KNOW you can make the BEST one guys ❤
I was there last year and it was paradise 😁 I also met them😎 They are two of the nicest and most down to earth people that I have met in a very long time🙂

I have done the same thing, but all my gear and clothing was made at home over several months. No modern gear was allowed at all and an old boat cocking solution using basically what rubbing alcohol is (Rød sprit) was allowed. Despite the limitations, it was actually really fun and tiring. But that was many years ago and it is good to see that the same spirit still exist in some people. Keep it up please :D

I could totally see a real Viking standing alone on a battlefield full of sunbaked meat and just randomly yelling to the bodies, "YEAH, WANT TO FIGHT AGAIN?!?!".
I used to do viking re-enactment for about 20 years , I used to make my own swords, shields, tents etc- even my own tunics and shoes, it was great fun- remember take the fight to your enemy, when outnumbered- attack, when faced with a longer weapon, your safest place is closer to your opponent. I have taken out opponents without even slowing down in a charge. I once entered an arena of over 200 warriors, to find myself on the wrong side of the battlefield- alone against the entire other army, they got me- but only after I had got their 3 main leaders (at which point about 20 of them jumped on me) but it disorganised their army enough for my side to win.- the reason that the tunics were made from lots of narrower pieces- the viking looms were not that wide (I have built and used one of those too to weave my own cloth.)
I was watching this, taking a drink right at the Gladator, hand in the wheat moment, and I ended up spitting it out on my keyboard. Thank you for that. Should have seen that coming, but loved the suprise edit. Bravo
A long time ago, this was the final vision of the Vikings falling in battle, Martina the Valkyria taking them to Valhalla, among friends. To fight for fun every day, feasting in the halls, enjoying the magical items of the gods. This is 1:1 to that vision. Amazing prodution. Loved it.
Good video, thanks. My sister once made a medieval costume for me for the LARP group I was in. Good times. I always used a foam spear/polearm because range makes a big difference in melee combat. I also bought a really cool viking Halloween costume I used for LARP too. I don't really look the part though, while my mom's side has some Danish heritage, I'm guessing my DNA is mostly French and English. Anyway, excellent costume making and crafting, kind of makes me want to go back to making some chain maille, getting in touch with my blacksmithing roots. Also, you stand in need of correction (by my reckoning anyway). Evidence is accumulating that the vikings rediscovered America. There's actually circumstantial evidence that a lot of groups might have visited America long before Columbus. I guess saying re-re-re-rediscover becomes cumbersome though, and less epic. 1. Groups about 30,000 years ago, the Clovis cultures. 2. Na-Dene people (8000-3000 BC). 3. Eskimo/Aleut (2500-2000BC) 4. Inuit (900 AD) 5. Norse (1021 AD, possibly earlier, and possibly later than originally thought if Kensington runestone is authentic) Evidences of groups that had contact with America somehow before Columbus: 1. Pre-younger dryas sea peoples (before around 11,000-9,000BC)/Atlanteans (along the lines of Graham Hancock's theories) 2. Ancient Assyrians/Babylonians (cognates between Quechua/Native South American languages, knot tying record keeping, random cuneiform characters found like the Fuente Magna bowl, the Pokotia monument, the presence of reed boats on the West coast of South America similar to those of Babylonian/Assyrian region, Crespi collection) 3. Ancient Egyptians (possibly the cocaine and tobacco mummies, and the Mi'kmaq hieroglyphic language) 4. Ancient Phoenicians (inscriptions in Punic script in both North and South America, coins, and possible connection to Hanno) 5. Romans (coins in rivers, river deltas, and coasts from Roman empire found, one in a Native American burial site, much like the Viking coins found in New England that were drilled and turned into possible necklace decorations by Native Americans, armor and weapons found in Arizona, authenticated amphorae off the coast of Brazil, the Tecaxic-Calixtlahuaca head) 6. Irish/Welsh/Celts (Ogham scripts, St. Brendan, and Madoc) 7. Hebrew (Las Lunas stones, Bat Creek stone) 8. Lydian/Greek/Libyan (inscription found near Big Bend Texas near Rio Grande River. 9. Mandinkas (some still claim the elephant slabs authentic but they're dubious, supposedly other inscriptions exist in Southwest USA like the Kangaba sign, the presence of ogham could also hint at North African influence, extreme similarities between cliff dweller ruins and Mandinka building techniques, the Mendica tribe has a similar name phonetically, but at least the voyage of Mansa Abubakari II) 10. Jomon/Ancient Japanese (thought to have met with Valdivia culture of Ecuador, similar pottery design patterns and a rare virus HTLV-1 found in human remains of both, cognates found in Southwest US Native American groups languages) 11. Polynesians (presence of sweet potato from South American found throughout Polynesia/Oceania, called by similar names in Quechua and Polynesian languages, kumala, kumara, cumal, culture and genetic lineage of Foganos from the Isla del Fuego) 12. Chinese/East Asians (best evidence of this one being true, as artistic symbols like the yin yang, Buddhist missionaries, and bearded serpent figure found on both continents, similar hat styles, similar hair styles, cognates in some Native American languages, East Asian writing found among petroglyphs, ancient maps from Asia included a continent on the East Side of the Pacific Ocean, asiaticfathers.com and asiaticechoes.org ) I think mainstream media and archaeology will have to accept the Chinese pre-Columbian contact theory very soon, as John Ruskamp has really found too many symbols that are too close to their East Asian counterparts for them to be a coincidence.
This was like watching a behind the scenes for a movie! This was so cool! I thought the end look was amazing! I have mock fights with my friends and i use a spear to kick butt. Its so fun to watch you try new things! Getting in touch with your roots must have been fun. 😊
Iv been thinking of making a viking shield for a while now, and your video has finally pushed me to do it! Iv just ordered a shield boss and some forged nails, and as I have everything else I need, I have no more excuses to put it off.
The rawhide leather rim is most Important. Go to the pet shop and buy some rawhide bone , soak in hot water and stitch/see them around the edge, overlapping each other a bit.❤❤❤
An Australian woman got a finger severed by accident at a viking reenactment in Trelleborg Sweden about a decade ago. Quick action by herself, fellow reenactors in the melee and ambulance medics on standby, she and her finger was getting reaquainted with eachother at the local hospital surgery room less than 15 minutes later. The very next year, she was back for the melee with finger fully healed without obvious complications😂
Yea... Human hands are somewhat fragile. Thats why in my HEMA club we do recommend at least something like hockey gloves or motorcycle gloves when sparring with padded swords and full HEMA gloves when sparring with steel. But at the same time modern medicine can do a lot reattaching fingers. Losing fingers isn't that uncommon. People cut themselves with tools, get into mashines, get hands stuck in heavy doors, have heavy stuff fall onto them or their ring gets caught on something and rips of the meat of their finger....
@@annasstorybox7906 Yeah I wear a pair of lacrosse gloves under steel half-gauntlets with extra lames atached after a few finger pinches. Most of the guys I fight with who don't wear full metal gauntlets wear hockey gloves but they're not easy to find in my size and I like having the use of my thumbs, lacrosse gloves in "stuby fingers with long narrow palms" size were a lucky find for me! I needed more padding that I could get with finger gauntlets and I wanted more mobility than steel mittens.

I got such a nice feeling thinking we now fight like this for fun, people have learned to leave differences back, hopefully in the future people will play war like we do today just for fun/culture and no real wars would exist :)
This is such a great idea for a D&D character: A Viking warrior that has inherited the "fighting role" of his/her clan because he/she has a royal lineage but the twist; they want to stay at home, brew mead, make bread and carve small wooden figurines
Okay... this was a very cool departure from the norm, and as an old guy who used to do this kind of thing regularly, you did a fantastic job! Shieldmaiden Martina is absolutely a vibe, and now I want to go play more Assassin's Creed Valhalla!

New Zealand has Viking related activities Too! In my area there is a Viking Day with fighting, stalls, etc as this region was settled by Scandinavian settlers.
Hi Martina, ❤ Long time reenactor speaking here... I love to see you growing into this, and enjoying it. I am always a bit scared to see anyone practicing without a helmet... I had my bit of breaking body parts fighting battles. In 30 years of cavalry reenactment I did Napoleonic cuirasier (14th Dutch in French service), medieval foot knight, Norman foot and Norman Cavalry and did the Hastings battle twice. Most Important: your friend Hansi enjoys it too! My girlfriend didn't like it at all, that was real trouble... So, more of this, I really enjoyed this episode ❤
Hi! Not Martina, but I was very curious - is this a geneal reenactment they were doing when fighting? As a fencer and now a HEMA practicitioner, I felt really anxious watching them fight without any protective gear, especially with steal weapons! Is there a certain technique how it is done "safe" in reenactment? I always thought reenactment was sort of theatrical exactly for safety reasons - it is easy to get overexcited in a bout or even just to hit someone by accident, especially with beginners.
@@a_karch I believe they are doing a western style of fighting in the Viking reenactment. The hits are generally pulled back a bit but when I did this we still hit each other and bruises were a thing, accidents happen still but it was generally pretty safe. There is also Eastern style fighting that allow head shot and you are required to wear a helmet hits are generally a bit harder but still safe. You also have Huskarl which is more a full contact hard hits with a face mask if I remember correctly. I only did western fighting so can't speak too much on the others. Most of the western style is actually very safe (minus the accidents that happen from time to time) most people know when they have made a miscalculation and the pull back their blows. The only bruises I ever received were on my thigh, arms, and torso.
@@a_karch as nachtmare says, this i s western style reenactment fighting. The techniques are designed to not hurt the opponent. Just as you probably know there are things you do in HEMA to maximise the effect of your strikes, twisting the leg just so, hitting through the target etc, you can reverse those things, make the hit max out just before the target etc. We do train this, and fight, competitively though. We pride ourself on fighting safely, you should be able to fight this safely naked. in 20 years I have never regretted not wearing a helmet.
@@a_karch I have also always wondered about how realistic fighting practice can be without extensive protective equipment. I would assume the movements must be very slow compared to real fighting as it's almost impossible to hit fast but not hard if the weapon has any weight. After all, without protective equipment you can very easily kill someone even with a blunt weapon if it's made of metal and used at realistic force and speed. Even a wooden practice sword can break bones and even be deadly if used against the head. So yes, probably more teathrical than an actual martial art but obviously great fun still.
Part of the safety consideration is your level of "assumed armour" in a competition vs what you're actually wearing. HEMA generally assumes no armour, but you still hit each other at full speed and so you need protective gear to stay safe. The SCA assumes chainmail, which means their strikes need to be harder in order to count as a victory. But it also means they need wooden swords and heavier armour, which is obviously more protective than actual chainmail. The increase in martial accuracy in both of those cases means that they will never look historical, even if they really try. In reenactments, they choose to focus on the accuracy of the equipment at the expense of the accuracy of the martial art. In this case, by pulling their shots and banning head strikes. It's always going to be a tradeoff, it's just about choosing what matters to you.
It was so much fun watching and inspiring to see the way you dealt with your anxieties to create this content. Anxieties are something I don't think people ever lose so much as learn to overcome... Keep overcoming yours and hopefully inspire others to overcome theirs...

I mean, most vikings were just your run of the mill farmers in majority of their time. I'm not saying that has a 100% survival rate in Norway, but still. Raiding season is a different story.
This is so cool! Especially in timing, because I just joined a club of young adults that do camps where the live in the iron age. That is not the same as the viking age, but it is still so much fun to watch you do this kind of stuff so short after I discovered it! Great video again, love your content ♥

Martina actually going out of her comfort zone and challenging her fears is so worthy of respect, it's an art a lot of people seem to have forgotten these days.
Audun: You're going to be the best?
Martina: I'm gonna be the very best, like no one ever was!......sorry
... To catch them is my real test
To train them is my cause ...
The "YEAH!. Want to fight again?" *everyone stands up* killed me XD
We do the Valhalla part before we die 😁 No one knows what comes after 😅
I remember vividly watching that ship and telling my father: "There's no way that's the real crew, they can't syncronize the rowing at all!", and we had a laugh. If it wheren't for Martina's wig I'd might recognized her and say her name loud enough and waved.
That fighting instructor is so good (from the scenes in the final cut). Patient, welcoming, encouraging!
The GLADIATOR reenactment was too good 🤣Brushing your hands in the fields. LOVED IT
That made me laugh. Had to go straight to the comments.
Came here to say this xD
+1
You said what I was going to so I like for you sir!😂
I LOLed
lets just take a moment to appreciate the fact she somehow managed to do her full makeup every morning out in complete nature for a week without a sink or proper mirror and lighting
Honestly give the 2 guys an Oscar lolololol the acting level in explaining was perfection. No notes
"any kind of activity that involves speed and/or excitement? NO THANK YOU" felt that on a spiritual level
The thought just occurred to me. Now that she has general knowledge of armed combat. Does that mean we'll be getting more medieval themed outfits from her? I'd be down for her to add some weapons to her gear set.
I hope so
Would be so utterly cool if she wanted to try her hands on forging her own , and she is truly is mastered NerdForge
Alec Steele might be able to help with that...
I certainly hope so. She definitely needs to expand her Viking outfit with matching shoes and a helmet or something.
After seeing them as vikings, i kinda want to see them as star wars heroes now. Martina next project should be (must be) a light saber. I KNOW you can make the BEST one guys ❤

Norway seems to be a country I want to live in for the rest of my life.
I was there last year and it was paradise 😁 I also met them😎 They are two of the nicest and most down to earth people that I have met in a very long time🙂
I've been there last month and can't wait to come back. Nice people, wonderful landscapes, almost good weather, but expensive. A very good place
@@MarcPi I was only there for a month and I felt like it was my real home. People and life there make you want to stay forever. I only got to see a tiny bit of what Norway has to offer, so I will definitely be going back! I even started to learn Norwegian which is grammatically so close to my second language (Afrikaans) so I'm finding it easy enough to pick up. Nerdforge got me hooked on bookbinding and now I'm doing it full time🙂
it's neat
Can confirm, married a Norwegian.
You're an inspiration, Martina. That you see a challenge and you just go for it, even when it's outside your comfort zone. Loved this!
Really digging the final look!! You put it all together and kept your Forge Flair! Now you need to blacksmith an axe of your own
YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH
25:04 It's a pretty good look for her.
...Anybody here know Tangella from Creature Features?
Oh yeah so much this.
I would have totally painted a shield with the Bluetooth symbol, if anyone asked, I'd say: "Yeah, it's wireless"
I needed this comment. Thank you.
It would be extra funny because the name Bluetooth is from an actuall viking jarl/king, wich connected different tribes to one and the Symbol is a mashup from runes
@@nkurzacker4143 bro that's actually so cool
This was awesome! Love the huge Nowegian dudes cosplaying Vikings (not much of a reach, honestly) vs. Martina with her raspberry & blue hair and offhand Pokemon references. Too good.
Martina Brighthair, First of her Name!
I could totally see a real Viking standing alone on a battlefield full of sunbaked meat and just randomly yelling to the bodies, "YEAH, WANT TO FIGHT AGAIN?!?!".
"It's about time I touched some grass anyways" LOL had me rolling! too good!
Then inserts a clip of her literally doing it, continuity ftw!
Bravo
The Sudden Coffee Violence was amazing.
It's generally known Vikings discovered coffee, it's a historical fact 😊
I felt Martina's coffee abstinence in the beginning so much, that I had to make a fresh, hot cup myself.
But ... but ... But no coffee is actually the way to build up the berserker state!
To be fair, it helped the RAAAGEE
3. Eskimo/Aleut (2500-2000BC)
4. Inuit (900 AD)
5. Norse (1021 AD, possibly earlier, and possibly later than originally thought if Kensington runestone is authentic)
Evidences of groups that had contact with America somehow before Columbus:
1. Pre-younger dryas sea peoples (before around 11,000-9,000BC)/Atlanteans (along the lines of Graham Hancock's theories)
2. Ancient Assyrians/Babylonians (cognates between Quechua/Native South American languages, knot tying record keeping, random cuneiform characters found like the Fuente Magna bowl, the Pokotia monument, the presence of reed boats on the West coast of South America similar to those of Babylonian/Assyrian region, Crespi collection)
3. Ancient Egyptians (possibly the cocaine and tobacco mummies, and the Mi'kmaq hieroglyphic language)
4. Ancient Phoenicians (inscriptions in Punic script in both North and South America, coins, and possible connection to Hanno)
5. Romans (coins in rivers, river deltas, and coasts from Roman empire found, one in a Native American burial site, much like the Viking coins found in New England that were drilled and turned into possible necklace decorations by Native Americans, armor and weapons found in Arizona, authenticated amphorae off the coast of Brazil, the Tecaxic-Calixtlahuaca head)
6. Irish/Welsh/Celts (Ogham scripts, St. Brendan, and Madoc)
7. Hebrew (Las Lunas stones, Bat Creek stone)
8. Lydian/Greek/Libyan (inscription found near Big Bend Texas near Rio Grande River.
9. Mandinkas (some still claim the elephant slabs authentic but they're dubious, supposedly other inscriptions exist in Southwest USA like the Kangaba sign, the presence of ogham could also hint at North African influence, extreme similarities between cliff dweller ruins and Mandinka building techniques, the Mendica tribe has a similar name phonetically, but at least the voyage of Mansa Abubakari II)
10. Jomon/Ancient Japanese (thought to have met with Valdivia culture of Ecuador, similar pottery design patterns and a rare virus HTLV-1 found in human remains of both, cognates found in Southwest US Native American groups languages)
11. Polynesians (presence of sweet potato from South American found throughout Polynesia/Oceania, called by similar names in Quechua and Polynesian languages, kumala, kumara, cumal, culture and genetic lineage of Foganos from the Isla del Fuego)
12. Chinese/East Asians (best evidence of this one being true, as artistic symbols like the yin yang, Buddhist missionaries, and bearded serpent figure found on both continents, similar hat styles, similar hair styles, cognates in some Native American languages, East Asian writing found among petroglyphs, ancient maps from Asia included a continent on the East Side of the Pacific Ocean, asiaticfathers.com and asiaticechoes.org )
I think mainstream media and archaeology will have to accept the Chinese pre-Columbian contact theory very soon, as John Ruskamp has really found too many symbols that are too close to their East Asian counterparts for them to be a coincidence.
Wow great!! Have fun making the shield 🥳
The rawhide leather rim is most Important. Go to the pet shop and buy some rawhide bone , soak in hot water and stitch/see them around the edge, overlapping each other a bit.❤❤❤
"Nori says "Hi'." Hi, Nori! Who's a brave Viking doggo? YOU ARE! Yes, you are! :)
🤣🤣🤣
The best Viking doggo ever!😊
But why wasn't Nori wearing that suit of armor you guys made some time back? It would've been great!
What kind of dog is Nori?
Nori is a beautiful doggo!
I do armoured fighting and even then, accidents happen, but it's so much fun you just want to get back in there as soon as you're healed.
You all are just true artists. I am so impressed with what you can do. And in this video, you’re living in your art. The clothes, shield, and even makeup. Is there anything you can’t do? So amazingly talented.
I love your "usual" videos, but this one in was such a joy to watch in particular, I couldn't stop smiling and giggling, what an adventure! I really hope you get to do more like it!
Something in my mind was JUST whispering "Skjera Bagera" and I came here and holy eff there's a video.
The lack of coffee might have helped with the fighting... nothing like a decaf berserker that's not decaffeinated by choice
Martina, I have been sewing for four years and I still haven't braved pants-making. It's INTIMIDATING. You did great!
The immersion looks like so much fun! I would give my right pinkie to even get close to a Viking Long Ship! All of it appeared amazing, but being a sailor, the ship especially caught my eye! Thank you @Nerdforge
That last shot is so pretty! It would be cool to paint something like that
Nice to also see you in the reenactment niche! If you want to craft more stuff for that theme, maybe consider a colab :) ?
Fancy seeing you here! :) love it when all the niche nerdy circles overlap
I got such a nice feeling thinking we now fight like this for fun, people have learned to leave differences back, hopefully in the future people will play war like we do today just for fun/culture and no real wars would exist :)
What an amazing episode! The part where you killed the camera for coffee literally made me laugh out loud! Lol You two are awesome.
21min mark really hit home and showed that you werent just speaking words and hamming it up for the camera, hats off to you Martina, hats off in deed , well done and still managed to make/edit this into such an enjoyable video :)
Martina that looks like you had SO much fun, I never knew Norway had Viking related activities. I really hope you and Hans had so much fun.
New Zealand has Viking related activities Too! In my area there is a Viking Day with fighting, stalls, etc as this region was settled by Scandinavian settlers.
@@juliaforsyth8332 WOAH THATS SO COOL, I never knew that Scandinavians settled any parts of New Zealand either, the more you know I guess lol
Hi Martina, ❤
Long time reenactor speaking here...
As someone who is part or a reenactment society, this brought me so much joy. I hope there's more of these kinds of videos in the future.
This was a really fun departure from the normal content. Very cool to see you grow into loving the experience more than you thought!
"Step 1 of the plan... Pants." That's step one of my plan everyday, although I often skip step 1.
It was so much fun watching and inspiring to see the way you dealt with your anxieties to create this content.
Anxieties are something I don't think people ever lose so much as learn to overcome... Keep overcoming yours and hopefully inspire others to overcome theirs...
I'm all in for this. Next time, will you need a viking chef?
This was awesome. I would love to see a few more such unique ideas dotted amongst the usual stuff. Thankfully you brought in a few transferable skills. I'd have taken weeks to make those clothes, not days. Looked hella fun though. Terrifying can often be a barrel of laughs once the adrenaline wears off.
I think my favourite part about watching you stuff is that it really motivates me to "make" as well, even when its cold out, you tough it out, good on you girl
14:36 The pokemon reference was so funny 🤣
Yeah! Too funny!
Lokimon!
You did very good and were so brave stepping out of your comfort zone. The warrior Make-up and blonde wig suits you very well.
Yay a new nerforge video! I've been following for a while now, Martina, and i just wanted to say, i'm a big fan of your builds, especially the cosplay/props ones and the room decorating ones. Thank you for inspiring me!❤
I'd be pretty awesome if you made something from the Horizon series. Like maybe the staff that Silens gives Aloy or one of the robots. I just think that'd be super cool and interesting.
This is something completely different than usual and I love it. Of course it was not enough to build up a new Viking Outfit in a traditional way, there had to be an reenactment and living in a camp outdoors. Looks really cool and I like that you faced that battle.
Alternative title: Martinas Viking-Bootcamp 101 XD
😂🤣😂 It was so dramatic! 😂 and then at the end he was like, “Yeaaah!!! Want to fight again?” And everyone else just rises from the dead 🤣😂🤣
So cool.
Though I would've loved to see their faces, if after her demise at 25:25, Martina 'respawns' as full Dark Sorceress, with her Armor, glowing Crystal Blades and her hellhound Nori in Armor.
Also their amazing fight needs to be immortalized in a cool painting from Martina. Maybe even in a kind of medieval painting style?
This would've been soo cool to see
The amount of times you come out of your comfort zone! I could never! My comfort zone is where I'm comfortable!
Martina, you looked fierce and made me think of songs of 'Miracle Of Sound' 's song: "SKAL"!!! Love this so much!!!
Thanks to the whole group of Vikings, the ROCK!!! Huge hugs and lots of love from an old rebel-Pinkie
Maybe as a sequel you could show us how to make some kick-ass Viking boots.
Same thought here!
I love this so much, a bunch of people getting together with a common interest just to have fun, fundamentally, that's so peaceful 🩷
Looking like a combination of katara and lagertha and honestly so beautiful and badass and perfect. Also that market looked like so much fun and so did the viking boat
"you have to paint ur shields to be a great warrior bro"
>Not because the plywood looks sus?
"Not at all because the plywood looks sus"
Ok, the channel has finally lived up to its name! This is by far the Nerdiest thing y’all have done! And I love it!
I also like viking. I spent the last week viking through mountains of southern Poland, we did more than 400 kms on a vike
"Would I be able to survive as a Viking?"
Of course, Martina, is that eveb a question?
Your ingenuity and architecture prowess would be greatly admired 😎
I mean, most vikings were just your run of the mill farmers in majority of their time. I'm not saying that has a 100% survival rate in Norway, but still.
Raiding season is a different story.
Я тоже думал, что к концу видео она построит там маленький замок )
This is so cool! Especially in timing, because I just joined a club of young adults that do camps where the live in the iron age. That is not the same as the viking age, but it is still so much fun to watch you do this kind of stuff so short after I discovered it! Great video again, love your content ♥
I feel like that I wouldn’t normally like watching videos like these, but this was probably the most wholesome and entertaining video that I’ve seen in a while ❤ I love it
i once did something similar in sweden but that was more survival focussed. I never realized how soft i have become, enjoying my comfortable lifestyle and COFFEE 😂 i really recommend people to do something like this, whenever its reanactment fighting, survivaling or just off grid camping.
"pretend that ur a fantasy hero and be cool with it" is pretty much my daily motto
Martina was like: "Lagherta! Hold my beer"
"Escalation is key" Now thats a viking quote lol
I absolutely loved this! And I am so proud of you Martina! As someone with pretty bad anxiety, your bravery and pushing through your nerves kind of brought me to tears :) I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself. You should be super proud!
That did look like fun! Now, build a tiny house that looks like it came from Berk/How to train you dragon- I would love that and I know you guys can do it beautifully.
If you were back in the old Viking times with your talents you would be considered a goddess.
Can't wait for part 2 in the 15th century😂! You'll be amazed how much changed in that time 😅😂
8:18 YES!! This should be the fate of everyone who stands in the way of our coffee Martina! 💪🏼
Martina snapping someone's neck for telling her how addicted to coffee she is so on point, she absolutely WOULD do that lmao XD
Martina: Thanks everyone for being gentle with her when fighting
Everyone: Starts chasing after her with their weapons LMAOO XD
YESSSS I loved this video so much!! Please if you do this again, please make a video about it again too, it was so much fun to watch and now I wish I could have such a cool outfit too!!
