The public mockery of Christianity is bad enough, but even worse is the silence of Christian leaders. But the worst is that some of those Christian leaders have reprimanded and even rebuked Christians for being upset or calling out President Biden. Today, we discuss two principles: rulers are obligated to obey God; and Church leaders need to wake up.

Honestly, a huge light lit my heart when I found out you are an honorable and true Christian! You are the first Christian singer I’ve seen that is courageous for the LORD!!! It was such a breath of fresh air for me. I was beginning to wonder if there were any Christian singers who are truly Godly. So glad you’re going to keep Cooper Stuff! I felt so blessed when I first stumbled upon his podcast approx. 3 years ago. I have gone back and listened to every single episode he has done. He is absolutely amazing and is God honoring. I can only think of one thing he has stated that I didn’t agree with and it wasn’t a primary or even a secondary issue…rather it was a tertiary issue.
I highly suggest you go back and listen to his episodes about deconstruction, if you haven’t listened to them already. They are amazing. Also, I highly recommend looking up Alisa Childers. I didn’t realize she had a podcast until John Cooper started talking about her and interviewed her. They are my top two favorite podcasts, I think!

I went to a skillet concert back in 2015 they came to Idaho. I remember, just before they played there song Hero, John confessing in front of an audience of rockers that Jesus Christ was his hero and Savior and it was super impactful to me as an 18 year old and I thought if he could say that in front of an audience like that I don’t have to be ashamed of my faith! I don’t know if you’ll see this but I just wanted you to know that at that period in my life Christ worked through you to get to me. Thanks for keeping up the faith especially in these trying times!

John, I get why you would ask God if He wants you to keep doing this ministry when it seems like a somewhat saturated field, and others are doing well covering these topics, but God is using your unique call and personality to reach a unique set of people. I listen to lots of podcasts and preachers, but when I have Cooper Stuff on, my 15yo will come in the kitchen and hang out to hear what you have to say. He doesn't do that with anyone else. Even if there are just 5 kids like him listening, the impact on generations could be incalculable! Keep up the Kingdom work brother!

As a Christian young man, seeing all of the crazy compromise in the Christian church in America, and of course the culture, is frankly depressing, but to hear more and more people taking a stand for Jesus and Biblical truth publicly (like you) is encouraging to me to continue to fight the good fight in my own life. I agree. I stopped attending church 15 years ago or more because all the churches I went to were so shallow. More church stuff happens on cooper stuff with you all than in the building.

Mr Cooper, thank you and your family for trusting in God and continuing this outreach. Somewhere in this podcast I came to an answer for those big-eva leaders who state we need to accept those who choose to live away from God's word. I have been a firefighter for 30 years and when I hear that I should just accept their choice, it's like telling me that I shouldn't save victims from fire. A stretch? I think not. Follow my personal logic. Where are those who choose to live away from God going to end up? Hell, the lake of fire as the Bible calls it. So their souls are already burning. If my calling has been to save people from fire, is not eternal fire as significant as earthly fire? Just my thoughts. God Bless. Cant wait to see Skillet in Rapid City in June.

The next question would be, why are we not celebrating Resurrection in line with Passover and First Fruits??
I’ve asked this question so many times. I’m so glad I was able to break free from the tradition of Easter.
What’s more: Passover, the feast of unleavened bread, and first fruits, are all about messiah. The first time a celebrated Passover, I wept because I finally understood Yeshua’s experience in that last supper, the pure gravity of it all, when He broke the matzah. Christians are missing out on so much- making their faith come to life in their home each year and they trade real meaning for chocolate bunnies and Easter baskets.

Cooper stuff was the very first podcast I had ever listened to and it was 1 part searching for info and people who still believed THE TRUTH & 2 hoping that the band Skillet (I had no clue who the people in the band were but have loved the music since I was a teenager) were still following Jesus Christ.
It’s like history trying to present the crusades in a negative light.

It should b obvious why “preachers” don’t speak out. They have to keep people in the pews in order to pay for their mortgages, their children’s college, their vacations, and on and on. It’s a business and they’re too concerned about offending the customer.
