If it has PSA on it, I would think they would have to license the use of their brand. If they license use of their brand, I would speculate that they would want to have a say in the product /machine. I think there is more to it than we are being told. Someone may have purchased one just like the one they used in their booth just for the purpose it is being used for. Who really knows?

I suspect they own part or partnered with someone to develop the machines. With them having their own site now on eBay, selling slabs that were never paid for, how many of those slabs do they have on their hands. Great way to get rid of them if they have developed hundreds of these machines.

I've done a few auctions on 1 of a kind item with a low bid. HIGH best offer. Since it's impossible to guage a 1 of a kind item, I like to start low to let ALL bidders get a shot. The best offer is to see if the item is so insanely valuable, I get a crazy offer on it. IT WORKS. I had a game at 19.99 starting bid with the best offer. i had offers of $30, 50, 20, and so on. I eventually took the $225 offer on it. Sadly, later in the year, it was reauctioned by the winner for $1,500+. If the item is a 1 off, I will do a higher best offer. if it's something I want to move, I'll have a LOWER best offer auto accept at a certain price, which is usually 10-20% lower than the bid/bin.

Terapeak which was bought by eBay several years ago is integrated with eBay now. It's on the seller hub under the research tab and on the app under selling called product research. It shows the accepted price. No need to go to another site anymore

    • @NippyNap2

@@richardbianco9674 true about terapeak but just for just seller accounts. It is also not very user friendly.
My point is that should be available to anyone (buyer/seller/bot) searching sold listings. 130pt scrapes the data (bot).
The issue is that sometimes a best offer doesn’t even show with the cross out it shows the price listed in green. This is deceiving and has to be meant to inflate pricing comps when someone is looking for the card/comp.

I've had a person tell me in forums that as a seller, I have a responsibility to help maintain a card's values by not selling it too far below comps. I countered with the fact that I am responsible for making a sale, and if that means undercutting other prices to do so, a seller should be willing to do that, and I have no responsibility to comps whatsoever.
