Simplicity. 👍 I pause the video, screenshot, zoomed in to retrieve the brand of the exhaust pipes my attempt was unsuccessful. What is the name of the 2 into 1 exhaust system?
I appreciate you making this video simple. I've installed Cobra air intake , Cobra straight pipes and Fi2000 processor It was a lot easier than i thought for the install of the FI2000 processor Thank you again for the video. 👍👍
When I first installed it I could definitely hear it sucking in the air, even with my 2in1 Vance and Hines. It gives the bike a unique sound, but now I don't really notice it.
I did, you can feel it pull a little faster. I added a cobra powrpro black fuel pack at the same time. So I don't know if you'd feel a different with just the intake, but you will hear it sucking air.
Thank you for this video man, super helpful. I'm putting mine on today and this makes me feel confident that i won't f^&k it up! Also, what band/song is that, it's pretty wicked!
To me,it was worth the money. I had put some V&H 2into1 exhaust and than added this plus the Cobra Powrpro Black turner. You'll feel a difference when getting on it, but the vulcan 900 is only a 50hp motor.
@@theidiotrighthere1829 yes I found afterwards an explanatory vid : it's useless to remove especially on a custom cause it was design to make the engine... smooooth 😉👍🏻
The reason I went with the Vulcan 900, was I found one at a good price. I was looking at a hand full of bikes around the same engine size , and reading a lot about issues with all of them. And the Vulcan 900 sounded very reliable and not much has changed with them over the past 16 years or so. Making it easy to find info on, so I can diy my own repairs and maintenance .
@@theidiotrighthere1829 Well... thanks. It might help if I mention that I just turned 73, and began playing drums in 1963 (thru 1075). I've heard everything from Little Richard to Zappa and everything in-between. Especially leaning towards Blues and Jazz over the years. I've kept up with music all of these years, I can't help but compare what I hear to all of the talented bands and musicians I've been exposed to.
A picture and a finger are worth 10 thousand words!
That was my thinking as well
I feel like I had a bad trip watching this video.
Far out, Man

Vance and Hines 2 into 1 Pro Exhaust Chrome 25309
I have the V&H exhaust, which sounds awesome. But mine is not the 2 into 1.

not very many videos on vulcan 900s so this is awesome. whats the part number for this? revzilla has no air cleaners for the 2015
vulcan

@@theidiotrighthere1829 thanks man!
Are these breathers loud? I heard someone say theirs makes a lot of noise drawing the air.
When I first installed it I could definitely hear it sucking in the air, even with my 2in1 Vance and Hines. It gives the bike a unique sound, but now I don't really notice it.
Thanks for the video, can you advise if the outer cover is metal or plastic ? I can't seem to find any info on Cobras website.
The Air intake cover is Metal, not Plastic.
Did you notice any difference in performance or response?
I did, you can feel it pull a little faster. I added a cobra powrpro black fuel pack at the same time. So I don't know if you'd feel a different with just the intake, but you will hear it sucking air.
If you want instant throttle response remove the secondary throttle butterflies

I hope it helps, and good luck. the song is Blood, Milk and Sky. It's playing in reverse
White zombie backwards?
Yes
Was it worth the money I have a 09 and did u put a cobra fuel box also

@@theidiotrighthere1829 Проще было чего нибудь помощнее взять тогда,1300 например и ничего не делать.
you didn't get rid of the restrictor plates ?
No. I can't remember why, but I must of read something that stopped me from removing it.
@@theidiotrighthere1829 yes I found afterwards an explanatory vid : it's useless to remove especially on a custom cause it was design to make the engine... smooooth 😉👍🏻
Shouldnt the sub valves be closed seeing as the throttle is not open while doing the install?
I read that it's vacuum controlled. I know the ecm controls it ,so it's all good.
So why the Vulcan 900? Really thought it was the best bang for the buck? I'm thinking about it too.

Do you have any deceleration popping after you install? I do. Is your bike a California motorcycle
No more decel pop, but I also added a Cobra Black PowrPro Tuner. And no, I'm in the mid-west.
What size wrench is that to tighten the last 3 bolts?
I used a 3/8 wrench. The bolt is 1/4"-20 X 5/8 HEX Flange Bolt

Great video but man, that god awful music was brutal
I'm glad you enjoyed it 😁
If that was a CD I hope you lost it. Decent video, though.
Not a CD, but multiple songs running backwards and forwards. I'm glad you enjoyed it 😁
@@theidiotrighthere1829 With all due respect, but no, I didn't.

Looks like a pain
The install? It's not
@@theidiotrighthere1829 I may have to give it a go then, changed the sound? I've only ever heard intakes on cars.
@@rainmouse2 yes, you can hear it sucking in the air. I don't really notice it as much, but it definitely changes the sound.
the pointing and tapping is annoying. can you not talk?
I can, but seen know reason to. I'll try to talk more, if it's needed
My apologies, that was very rude of me. Please excuse me. I only wanted to know what was going on, I couldn’t really see much is all
I have a 2004 nomad classic Fi 1500 and was trying to find out how to upgrade the intake. There isn’t much out there about doing it.
