Hi Glyn, it is crazy the amount of rain you have had and how soggy the ground is. It is hard to believe that soon the new Lambing season will begin. Where you able to get someone hired for the Night shift that you were looking for during Lambing? Congrats on the new Quad. Your dad looked like a kid on Christmas morning when it was delivered.
A farmer friend was riding his quad side saddle like your Dad. He was heading to the house and while pulling up he turned the steering to aggressive and flew off. H flew into a big stone and crushed his hip, ending up getting needing a new hip. Hope Dad is being careful. Thanks from concerned viewer

Great bit of work fencing there, Glyn. Good luck with the new quad! I hate giving advice because it makes me look like I think I'm an expert, but about driving the post when you're fencing: I always bring down a 2-step step ladder or a little mounting block for horses and that way it gives you great height and power over the post and it's much easier to drive them. Anyway, thought I'd give some advice that wasn't asked for! Keep up the great farming!
Yep another great video Glyn and John Only suggestion you might try the quad box opening from drivers side when it comes as facing out used to flick open in the wind You’ll like windshield !

That was a lucky find your new, used, Pajero. Seems I've the best knack of finding a boulder every time I try to pound in a post, yours just go in like butter! Surprised they haven't put heated handlebars like one can find on snowmobiles, on quads. How do you find lambing on slats as opposed to bedded down, like Cowley Hill? We don't have slatted barns in my area, but looks like a good investment.

I can’t help thinking dad might be better off driving a Kubota buggy We have just bought one. Ours has a roll bar, doors and a tipping box. Dad needs to take care, he’s not getting any younger and needs to take care where he goes.
