      I was thinking same.... but I decided it would likely be difficult for the author to keep up with so many changes to what we learn/know.also counter-productive for those who store Information but then rarely revisit, thinking they already know it all. I've a system whereby I listen to my personal favourites Dr Michael Greger and this finely educated lady for example. I refer back to catch updates etc and I take notes

      Unless you’re allergic to soy, you can train yourself to enjoy tofu!
      Always gagged at the thought of tofu, but now I look forward to it weekly:)

    Hi Doc, I am 73 years old. I am very underweight. About 117, 6'2" tall. I eat a lot of raw vegetables and fruits. But keep losing. It's more like a fight to maintain the weight I still have. Doctor, can you recommend what I can eat to stop losing weight. I agree with you about eating. I eat non gmo. I love just about all foods. But no junk. Thanks Carl

    Every body is different, many live in different regions, work different jobs, etc. Eat what's natural to your region, organic plant and protein sources, eat according to your style of life and work, calories in calories out. Cook your food properly to eliminate any toxins, live a happy and stress free life, and move your body.

    I had lost 75 pounds 6 years ago doing low carb. Now I have put 30 back on and am struggling with what to do next.

    Comment about salad dressing on salad: many vegetables have fat soluble vitamins. If you don’t have fat present for digestion you aren’t absorbing the nutrients from the veg. So adding nuts or some other fat source is important.

      Ezekiel bread if you’re gonna eat any bread and you can eat potatoes all day and lose weight potatoes are not fattening. It’s what you put on them that count.

      I think it depends on if you have diabetes. Potatoes are very high glycemic. I heard her say in one video, why eat bread? Just eat the whole grains. I thought that was great

      I recommend people eat a 4.0 Diet. Think carefully about what they eat and focus on deficiencies.

      I'm curious as a type 2 diabetic. I've tried the WFPB low-fat diet but my blood sugar spikes. When I follow a Keto-type diet, my blood sugar normalizes. BUT, I really don't want to each much meat. So, I'm confused.

      After watching several of her videos, I'm going to do some research on sprouted grains. I remember there was a bread many years ago called manna. It was flourless and made out of sprouted grains

      I bought Ezekiel bread today. It's very good. But I wonder about eating whole grains and beans. Many other doctors on RUclips say no grains or beans to reverse diabetes.

      @devildogsbushcraft7898 it is confusing . However, it is clear to me that high-fat diet leads to TOFI, and liver disease. No matter what the A1C is.
      I started watching her videos because I want to heal my liver. I also have uncontrolled diabetes. I bought a bag of seven whole grains that includes beans and I cook it in my rice cooker. I Incorporate it in among the fresh fruits, vegetables, and lean meats. No need to eat bread.

    How does one person consume a whole block of tofu in a day? Once it's open you got to eat it.
    You ignore the investment ( $ and travel)in acquiring the ingredients for that healthy sandwich

      Put your leftover tofu in a container and completely submerge it in cold water. Then put it in the fridge. You should rinse it and change the water every day or every other day. I’ve kept tofu for 5 days this way and it’s seemed as fresh as when I first opened it.

      For a family, 1 block feeds everyone. But for individual servings, Personally I would freeze it. It comes out with a different chewier texture that can be added to soups and stir fries. I even made my friend lasagna with tofu instead of cheese.

      Not all tofu comes in a 16 oz block. I have found it in smaller sizes. Raw tofu can be stored for a couple of days when resubmerged in water.

    I’m gluten intolerant, allergic to eggs, dairy intolerant, intolerant to bananas and avocado, can’t eat tofu because I end up in the ER due to impaction in my colon, I can’t digest the stuff. I have Hashimotos. What am I supposed to eat? 😂

    Though I appreciate her knowledge… having Hashimoto’s for 40 years, I don’t eat any added sugar, no starches potatoes or rice , no bread, no pasta. no gluten, no grains, no soy, no meat, no dairy except some casein2 sources for kefir, feta. I eat leafy greens, avocados. Asparagus, kale omega-3 rich fish, berries, olive oil, turmeric, ginger, garlic lemon…I rarely eat beans because they are so high in Carbs. I try to limit my carbs to under 30 Carbs/ day.
    Her suggested meals have too many Carbs.

      Your diet is helping hashimoto's? That's great. The doctor is obviously not a fan of Keto. Neither am I. Unless you have a specific disease you're trying to heal, I think her advice of having an overall balance is good

    panda exrpess adds sugar
    to everything they make except one i think called mixed greens....
    why? real sugar is not part of actual chinese food

    "I eat this EVERY day." I could not eat that much food in a week. The amount of bad info is hard to swallow too. I am out of here.
