You can set up an auto farm at the second crystal as well. I uploaded a video with a set-up example as well as a full description of the method.
But, I can break it down here as well...
"Grand cathedral is better for grinding, as opposed to optional dungeon with the same experience yield. The cathedral requires far less traveling back and forth, except to ocassionally save your progress. Be sure not to depleted the crsytals health.
Doing this with infinite spawning skeletons at the Cathedral, with each skeleton you'll net:
    3 A EXP, 2 EXP, 25 Magla (average), 12-13 Money.
It takes approximately 12 - 15 min. to gain just about 1000 A EXP. You may be able to slightly optimize that a bit, possibly even getting it down to 11 or even 10 min., but it's unlikely to be consistent at that time.
Optimally, you'll want to use three level 20 archetypes, one for each party member, when grinding for the fruits. Let's just say for the ease of it that your other archetypes are all level 1 with no experience put into them yet. Next, you'll need thirteen "Leaf of Light" to fully level each archetype.
With that in mind, it will take five runs (60 - 75 min.) to fully level an archetype, utilizing 13 Leaf of Light plus 2 held left over. The next two archetypes will take four runs (48 - 60 minutes) plus one left over Leaf. So, to level up three archetypes, you're looking at 2.6 - 3.25 hours.
After leveling all archetypes available to you at this point, you could spend an additional 6.6 - 8.25 hours grinding for 99 Leaf of Light. This is after the grind to rank 20 your initial archetypes for each character.
    You'll net around 4,500 MAG, 8,600 MONEY and 668 EXP each 12 - 15 min. run.
Note that on the third day (and maybe the second), the MAG exchange rate is X3. You can rake in a huge amount of money early. You'll also have quite a few muddled swords or whatever to appraise and sell for profit. If you grind on day two, then on day three I'd purchase the Noble Tuxedo and Golden Epee for $49/50K each.
If you do the cathedral grind on the second day, you will not be able to rank up the Merchant Archetype at this point. You'd have to do Guptauros on day 2, then cathedral grind on day 3. But, since you will need to return to the cathedral if you did it on the second day, you can just repeat to rank up the Merchant Archetype as well. That said, it may or may not be a waste of a calender day, since it isn't technically as efficient as doing the optional dungeon on day two and cathedral grind on day three. It does, however, make the optional dungeon easier, just be sure not to underestimate Guptauros regardless.
In total, you could be looking at 20 to 30 some-odd-hours to max out every archetype, plus your game time beforehand.
    ...
This method can also be automated, but it takes a small bit of set up.
    1. Be sure that you equip the Mage Archetype. This is crucial.
    2. From the safe room nearby the first crystal, you will exit then run towards the first crystal.
    2. On the right side of the crystal, an Archer Skeleton will spawn. You will need to defeat this Archer as you run by. Do not remain in the immediate area as it respawns. You need it to respawn after you've ran from it and you are out of its "alert radius".
    3. From this first spawn crystal you will take the hall to the right, running quickly to reach the end of the hall and stopping before it turns up to the second crystal. Note that there are two large square patten motifs on the tile floor - you will basically stop on the first one at the end of the hall. Do not approach the next crystal yet.
    4. Turn around and defeat any skeletons who have chased after you down the hall. If the Archer Skeleton has chased after you, you will need to go back to the safe room and try again.
    5. Turn towards the second crystal, and approach the right edge or upper right corner of the large square tile motif. You will position yourself here for the remainder of this.
    6. At this point, a Sword Skeleton and a Spear Skeleton should spawn and NOT an Archer Skelton. If the Archer does spawn, repeat the process.
    7. If done correctly, you can now stand in place spamming the attack command with the Mage Archetype. If at any point the game does in fact load the Archer in, or Skeletons stop spawning consistently, you can repeat the steps to refresh the process.
    8. This can be automated PS5 by:
    a. Remote play and an autoclicker (app for android or hardware). An app doesn't work on PC remote play as the on screen controls are not avaliable on PC. You can, however, use a controller with a physical autoclicker.
    b. Using a physical autoclicker set up to continually press the attack command on your controller.
Note: I'd imagine this method will work just fine on PC and XBOX as well. On PC you could of course use an autoclicker with your keyboard (or controller) and one for your XBOX controller as well."

I have to ask how did you get the merchant archetype and get to use it, it takes one whole day to get wisdom up to level 2.
then on day 2 you do the dungeon, which basically takes up the whole day. then on day 3 if you turn the quest to get the merchant it takes up the first half of the day and you cannot use it in a dungeon as the dungeons can only be done in the daytime.

    • @blakeasisco
      @blakeasisco Месяц назад +1

@joewhan11 ah, I didn't realize that turning in the quest would take up a time slot. That's odd to me. I assumed that wouldn't be the case. Sure, completing the quest obviously does take up a time slot, but also taking up a time slot for just turning it in? That's wierd. I didn't actually do the optional dungeon in day two myself this time around, I did cathedral grind on day two on this playthrough. I'll need to go back and actually see if turning the quest in on the afternoon of day three actually takes up a time slot. That's wild if it does.

    • @joewhan11
      @joewhan11 Месяц назад

@blakeasisco oh ok, I was wondering if you had found a way to get wisdom quicker or something. But yes it definitely takes up a time slot, I turned it in, hoping to use the merchant in the cathedral dungeon on the 3rd day, but it progressed time and I had to reload and just do the dungeon instead.

@ 2:50 you need to be level 19 to one shot mobs without going into combat.
@ 6:30 you need to leave the mastered class on. You get an items that drops a-exp which essentially gives you one level an item. Having each character with a masteted class would give you three hero leaves of light a level up

@@alexbishel4164 Kind of a bit complicated things but i would say the corridor has a few extra tidbits over the cathedral:
      1. Fantastic spot to get rusted drops for what is likely rarer gear once appraised.
      2. Blue Elementa spirits can spawn which usually run away but you can use squad battle and spam fire spells to nuke it dead and get a massive pile of money/MAG (around 500 or so which gets upped another % due to unscathed bonus) and gives around 80 or something archetype exp which is a pretty sizable amount especially when it jumps above 100.
      3. Why skip the Corridor when you need to hit level 2 wisdom anyway to unlock purifying weapons (RIP i forgot to purify the dragon sword before entering the corridor), you get the merchant archetype from it and outside of the gobbies going absolutely crazy if you have a Magic centric class (mage/healer), you can yolo farm them with additional benefits afterwards to greatly make up for the fact you wasted a day and night of the limited 3 days you have for the demo itself.
Leveling an Archetype to max will likely take a while but im gonna assume over-leveling archetypes beyond that is far less and unlike regular character EXP i dont believe they scale down, as far as im aware of.
Either way you need to max a archetype out to get its upgraded tier version, on top of getting to a certain rank with the associated character, but considering Mores straight up gives you free stats and goodies just for getting a healer archetype to 10, chasing requests for easy stat ups are gonna be that much necessary to get as much time spending to rank up your followers to unlock classes, since unlike Persona`s way of handling on acquiring stronger personas being based on your level, this game appears to place a much HIGHER emphasis on doing sidequests to get better skills via higher tier archetypes and what not.
Just glad they seem to take a nocturne or SMTV approach of being able to infinitely farm spam dungeons long as you dont leave the dungeon and cause the day to progress.

Y'know what I'd do? Grind in the Cathedral until level 19~20 on Day 1, dump as much MAG as you need into cash to get the Tuxedo and Golden Épée (plus whatever else you want) on Day 2, while also leveling Wisdom (so you can shop at the night time stores), and then grind the Belega Corridor until you have 99 Old Coins, Ragged Furs, etc. Because running through the Corridor takes like three minutes, and the level 16 Gobrons will give a lot more a-xp than the level 6 Skeletons, even if the Skeletons respawn infinitely.
You could do it the other way as well, y'know, enter the Corridor on Day 2 and run through it until you're maxed out on item drops and around level 19~20, but that would mean giving up access to the night-only magic shop and the redgrass roasted bidou, which is a pretty good emergency healing item, as it heals 400hp _and_ cures a burn.

Actually u don't need to scan the enemies at all to notice it being broken. Conditions for fast sweep on map is to be 3 levels above the enemy. Suppose u want to farm on the corridor, to immediately start doing that u need to be at level 19 and gear up mage staff. Also u don't need to leave the dungeon, u can sweep twice one entering and manually leaving remember where all enemies are. U can also cancel the squad attack on higher level while running the staff to go efficiently. Basically, L1 to target, attack with staff, swipe whatever u can(u will teleport to the mob and hit on area) ignore the ones that didn't die by pressing circle, evade and advance. Still inf monsters entering and leaving looping and whatever.
