Bach helped me get through college. I had such a hard time paying attention while studying and listening to Bach helped me concentrate. His music is timelessly beautiful. Thank you Bach and the RUclipsr who uploaded this playlist of his greatest pieces.
The best of Johann Sebastian Bach is all he composed! He is also the best composer in history! Much of humanity has not yet awakened from sleep to understand him!
Not only of Vivaldi as of other composers, however, any Musician who praises himself must study and analyze the works of other masters. Antonio Vivaldi was a great composer, but Johann Sebastian Bach was beyond his time! I venture to say that he was greater than Mozart or Beethoven.
What is the true meaning of your comment? If you are a musician, you can criticize, otherwise do not waste your time! Only people with refined and educated listen to Johann Sebastian Bach.
Did you know? Johan Sebastian Bach lost his little daughter and then three sons and then his wife. Then he remarried and then he and his second wife, Anna-Magdalena, lost four more daughters and three sons. Eleven beloved children... Many researchers have wondered: how Bach managed to handle these losses? How did he not stop breathing, how did his heart not stop? And most importantly, how could he continue to write music? Kantati, cello suites, messes, concerts... The most beautiful music the world has heard. Do you know how he did it? At the end of the his music, he always wrote "Soli Deo gloria" (Glory to God alone) and in the beginning, "Lord help.” Therefore, you can pray during Bach's music because the music itself is prayer. You could, then, consider Bach's music a conversation between man and God. How to you deal with pain? Worship is the best solace.
So his 18 kids, only 7 survived? I thought he was running through the neighborhood spreading his Bach juice! "I got 18 kids, 18 kids, got one of your kids for 18 years"..
nearly 54 million hits for a guy who struggled to get his music played during his lifetime is both heartwarming & heartbreaking. If only he had known how much he has inspired modern classical players & rock players alike. He would have been thrilled & bewildered in equal measure
I often wonder how composers like Bach and Mozart would feel knowing how far their music reached across the world, how many hearts their masterpieces thrilled and enraptured. My faith enables me to believe that one day I’ll be able to talk to them about this sort of stuff! They probably would be flabbergasted!
@@aliciab.6849 I sense that works of such beauty, so transcendent of time and space, probably hit them profoundly at the time of such creation. It’s like the old Bill withers quote ‘ if I knew where the magic came from that leads to writing a piece of music that people love, I’d have gone there far more’ … we often know not how or why it arrives, but are deeply humbled when it does. The masters must have felt this over and over x
Bach's music feels like a celebration of being alive in this sunny world. Chopin's feels like an eternal beckoning for humanity to turn toward unconditional love.

In my opinion, Bach understood intuitively how music works at the most basic, granular, level, than any other composer. He understood the purpose of each note and its relation to the other notes around it in a very fundamental way, and I think that informs how a lot of his music is written. I love listening to his music not only because of how it sounds, but because of how it functions. It's harmonious, in both an audible and a structural way. I think of Bach as the Einstein of composers for the unique way that he was able to distinguish the "atoms" of music. It's not a perfect metaphor -- but just I love the works of many other composers, there were many other scientists who made important, unique, and incredible contributions to human knowledge. But Einstein broke ground in terms of how he was able to understand the functionality of matter, just like Bach was unique in how he was able to understand and explore the functionality of music. It is no coincidence, I think, that a lot of jazz players I know name Bach as their favorite classical composer. They have to understand music in a similarly intuitive way in order for them to improvise the way they do. Even though the sound produced is very different, the theory is based on the same ideas.
Bach is my favorite classical music composer. Perfection is the word that best fits him. He really sooths my soul and, look at that, only over 55.000.000 views!

Bach is a composer for all seasons, for no other composer produced so much excellent, cunning music or understood his craft so encyclopedically. A master of sorts!

He's great. He's great because people said so. And after people champion a product everyone has to repeat the same thing because it's the popular opinion. Most overrated composer in history.

Bach's music is a mysterious dialog between Heaven and Earth, between a soul and the world of absolute kindness the soul has come from and will go back to. Using the only universal language understood by everyone - music, Bach reunites us with our origin and brings true consolation. His masterpieces are such a blessing for mankind and hopefully will be revealed in their fullness of the highest musicological spheres where they have come from.

Bach's brilliance lies in the precise harmonic line, chord progressions, and melody. I never get weary of listening to him because everything fits so perfectly together. The song simply takes over your mind and propels you forward. Everything is mathematically and logically accurate. A really elegant performance with incredible sound balance.

Kevin B i ran into a video from the interview with Nikola Tesla where he advised to listen to Bach and Mozart since this music activates the happy frequencies in energy which is what brought me to search up this music.. Can also search RUclips for happy frequencies and there are sound frequencies therapy to sleep with. Search up cymatics-sounds which shows you visually sound moves sand and water.. We're at least 80% water inside us..I also found out exercising decreases depression and doing activities.. Just moving around decreases depression. Use 1 day out of the week to pamper yourself..maybe Sunday is healing day... Body care..candles, fragrance beautiful melodies(moves the water in you) Do not watch any scary, bad news, anything with negative energy. Place yourself around positive energy So it doesn't drain you..think of positive outcomes when bad things happen, changing your perspective; your thoughts makes you feel positive, brings abilities and abundance & desire
I just found out lack of sunlight leads to depression. Don't stay inside all the time you must go out. Make new friend and challenge yourself to do new things.

Once I left some half eaten yogurt out in the sun on my back porch by accident to spoil. It was so gnarly, I didn't want to ever go through the trouble of throwing it away. Then a few days later I walked outside and I heard this music playing. I looked for any electronic or musical device that could be responsible, but found nothing of the sort. I payed attention more closely and heard that it was coming from the gnarly yogurt cup. As it turns out, the bacteria in the cup had been left to develop for so long that the cultures within the cup literally became cultured! They had evolved into "Bach-teria"! I was charmed by their ode to the great composer, but was so repulsed by their stench and appearance that I finally summoned the nerve to dispose of it properly.

The best of Johann Sebastian Bach is all he composed! He is also the best composer in history! Much of humanity has not yet awakened from sleep to understand him!
Aloysius Emanuel I agree!!
Is that why at the time of his death he had a bunch of Vivaldi's work?
Not only of Vivaldi as of other composers, however, any Musician who praises himself must study and analyze the works of other masters. Antonio Vivaldi was a great composer, but Johann Sebastian Bach was beyond his time! I venture to say that he was greater than Mozart or Beethoven.
It is bach who is asleep
So beautiful Sir!Bach Concert't are "odă lui Dumnezeu"❤😢❤😊Amin!
Praise Jesus!
So his 18 kids, only 7 survived? I thought he was running through the neighborhood spreading his Bach juice! "I got 18 kids, 18 kids, got one of your kids for 18 years"..

Wow. Beautiful, inspired, inspiring notes...thank you :)

@@HALIDONMUSIC I am sure as hell listening to more of this
marscop9013 _ more like einstein is the bach of science
More like Paul McCartney and John Lennon am I right
No, Einstein is a Bach of phisics.
Bach is my favorite composer.
So what?
+Mesdriver he is merely voicing his opinion there's no need to dismiss him
same
so is mine
as a bassist, i love bach
Bach was my mother’s favorite composer. I can see why.
I am not a musician, or a student of the arts, but i respect this guy for his genius and his fantastic music.
agree with u

+C:\Odapow \superuser\ Do ye aye
He is not a genius. He is passionate about music and studied music relentlessly. He is just hard working.
How did he do it? Every single piece just blows me away. I truly believe music peaked when Bach was creating it.
Because he give the glory to his maker.
The aim and final reason of all music should be nothing but the glory of God and the relief of the soul. Where this is not observed, there will be not music, but only a devilish bustle.
Johan Sebastian Bash
He is the greatest musician of all time.
No doubt
…I have to know if Nick and Josè emailed, corresponded and eventually met and made sweet fiery Baroque era love over their shared passion of Bach. Did Nick ever Manda Jose his email?
I think you mean composer. lol
Quim Barreiros sends a hug
he's good, but a bit overrated
This has always been one genre of music we can fall bach on.
Hi❤
I feel like a rich person while listening to this.
You may go for a plate of steak with that feeling.
I feel like a rich person sitting on a $10000 chair with my legs crossed by the fire place sipping a cup of tea while listening to this. Only a musical genius could write these masterpieces. No music of today even comes close to the music of these times. They're all amateurs.
Preludio e fuga in Sol minore ruclips.net/video/HDQj-a-9_XE/видео.html
@@Xaminn it almost seems impossible for a human being to write something so incredibly complex. The music of these times are underated. Bach does a lot of counterpoint. that's something I really love about some of his masterpieces. Just looking at the sheet music blows me away. It amazes me how these guys could have regular sized heads but be so incredibly smart. Back then there was no chorus verse verse chorus. Bet These guys are rolling in there graves because of how simple and repetetive today's songs are.
Me too 😂
studying while listening to Bach music is AMAZING
Me too, it's true.
+Sara Iveth Díaz Duarte So am I.
Gandalf yes
What is wrong with people these days ?XD
that is exactly what im doing right now hes my favorite artist and studies show that classical music helps thinking and remembering so everyday when I need to finish up some homework or study I put on some Bach!
The most important composer of all time.
Não é a toa que toda obra de Bach era dedicada ao divino, dá uma paz escutar.
Eles sabiam usar a beleza objetiva para glorificar Aquele que É o padrão dela.
He has always been my favorite composer followed by Mozart and then Chopin. As a AFRICAN-American from a Jamaican family I grew up listening to classical music like kids today listen rap. I can listen to this kind of music all day regardless of what I my be doing. Thanks for uploading this!!!
I didn't realize Jamaica was in Africa
It's not, you just lack reading comprehension.
As a white male from Spain I believe your statement is overeacting a bit. Lol
And at the same time kind of agree.
Race matters not.
I am just saying I was made fun of by the other kids as a greek and besides I played the violin too. I am 66 years old and growing up WHERE I did you did not see a lot of black kids carrying a violin case around a lot!!! You get the message here homey?
You rock! :)
The music is immortal just like you great Master and so uplifting! It never ceases to amaze us even after 300 years !!!👍👍👍
I never felt so good while eating a sandwich
It's great also while working. :)

As a student, everyday i listen to this while i study; and it really increases my abilities. Pure magic.
I have loved Bach since I was very young 10-12 ages ,and used to paint my feelings under that music.
Eternal universal music from the highest spheres of spirituality
the most impressive thing is the fact that the recordings have remained in good quality for over 300 years

Bach and Mozart are the true masters when it comes to music. whose music in the background while you work makes your day
Hello ❤
Hilarious
"...but was so repulsed by their stench and appearance"
They merely evolved a little too far...into Mozart o_O
jetboy33 Mozart now sounds like a disease... or fungus.
Someone left the cake out in the rain. I don't think that I can take it, 'cause it took so long to bake it, and I'll never have the recipe again...OH, NOOOOO, OOOOH, NOOOOO.
I was gonna eat that cake! But now it's all wet and I don't think I want a piece...
