Yes, indeed. Telemann certainly was. Also, Domenico Scarlatti, who was born in 1685, the same year as Bach and Handel. We surely cannot forget England's Henry Purcell, either, or Couperin, Lully and Rameau of France. The list of great Baroque composers is endless.
These pieces are probably played too often - and I still love em! Can't say that about the overplayed pieces of Mozart or Schubert or Chopin. There's a reason Beethoven called Handel 'the master of us all.'
