I totally agree with Mayday, Respect is definitely something that needs to be earned. That’s a rule I live by. I only respect those who earn it.., never those who demand it.
My college teacher can be easily described as that
That’s how it should be.
@@miliscia2871 what do you expect your teachers to do? (Real curiosity)
@@dragonking1097 I'm not so sure on that. That just gives you an excuse to be rude to everyone you've never met because they haven't arbitrarily earned your respect. Unless someone does what the lieutenant did here or otherwise conducts themselves poorly, theres no good reason to not treat everyone with a basic level of decency no effort required.
@@TheCraftySam perhaps, though entitled pricks like Lieutenant Nolan, that’s different. One thing that’s a damn shame, there’s hundreds of imperials like him.
Its rather annoying that despite the fact that Mayday is a commander, one of the highest ranks a clone can have, he still has to listen to a lieutenant in the new military.
Usually, someone will expect that newbies will respect the ones that are above them. You learn and you grow. I am not surprised that he was killed by crosshair. Besides, that officer speaks like if he was a high ranking officer but he is at the bottom of the food chain. What a disgrace
And now u know how E5s and above feel
@@christiannguyen1266 Mayday is an officer though and he has to answer to one that's supposed to be under him.
@@AdeptKing Actually it seems like Clone commanders are like E7s or E9s.
Well you could say army works like a segregated one
For example in WW2 in the US army no matter the rank a highly decorated black solder was always outranks by a white would always have to follow the orders given out to them regardless of if the white soldier was a lower rank
There’s something cool about the bandages on the armor
It seems They put bandages from getting cold
Crazy how in the clone wars they got specialized cold westher armor...but now there expendable so they get bandages
@@riceoperator4033 doubt they even got that. Likely just salvaged different rags, bandages and bedding sheets.
@Mikkel Hansen I like to compare the gear they got season 1 episode 15 of the clone wars to now
I think they use it as scarf to prevent cold
classic imperial officer having the biggest ego when they've accomplished absolutely nothing in their career
Probably spent the war in a Republic academy on the cushy Coruscant as well far away from any battles. And probably was scared shitless when the CIS attacked the planet.
@@_MaZTeR_ most likely
@@_MaZTeR_ republic academy doing what ? They have clones , why an academy for humans ?
@@Attmanwart They still had normal human officers, if you hadn't noticed in the clone wars series, plus how do you think Admiral Rampart appeared? You're the Senate, you should know that
and compare that to all the other Imperial officers that served during the Clone Wars who later became the highest ranking military leaders such as Grand Moff Tarkin, this fucking newbie knows nothing of experience in a war.
Mayday: We've almost died to the last man defending this outpost
Asshole officer: you will be punished later
Guarding unspecified cargo on an isolated frozen rock with antiquated equipment probably felt like punishment enough for Mayday.
Vader:*así que protegiste tu cargamento durante meses con solo 3 clones y tú superior no hizo nada.....ok, bienvenido a la 501,ve por tu nuevo equipo.despues hablare con ese oficial
I've just met Mayday and I already want him protected at all costs. They did good work portraying him as a gruff experienced Veteran that survived the War. Judging by his appearance I wonder if he's one of the first batches.
Well...
@@_MaZTeR_ at least Nolan got the "respect" he deserved
I’m getting howzer vibes
Sadly Mayday died in that same episode
Yes mayday is a generation 1 clone just like Rex the first batch of clones was the 10 million clones. Majority of all the clones were killed then they came out with the generation two clones which are younger. And have no control over the inhibitor chips the first gen clones chips wore off faster compared to the younger generation clones. All the other clones you see acting normally to a certain degree in the bad batch during season 1,2 are a mix between gen 1 and gen 2 clones the older clones are definitely dying off faster than the gen 2 but Howzer and all the caps and commanders they’ve shown. So far there inhibitor chips wore off including Cody’s
I can't tell you how much I can relate to the Clones even more after serving in the Army.
Having some inexperienced LT fresh out of the academy with no combat history try and tell combat troops how to wage war and demand our respect.
Being discarded without care after injury.
Love the clones more now.
Not gonna lie after seeing the clones in my years they just make me want to join the army
My parents are in the Military and I think they may relate to the clones a bit if they wanted to watch some Star Wars animation. Soldiers sacrificing so much just to be treated badly.
@samuelcontreras2230 my advice... don't. I appreciate your Honor to serve but how they treat us after serving is horrible. You're better off avoiding it.
In my book , Experience outranks everything
- Captain Rex
Mayday deserved better
All the Clones deserved better
Lieutenant deserved worse
F##k this empire.
@@Autobotmatt428 did they truly?
Mayday have stolen my heart even when he is in one episode
Mayday is one of best clone i ever saw in Star wars
He literally is the representation of a perfect soldier: disciplined, experienced, selfless and loyal to his soldiers. It's really a shame that such a character had such a sad ending.
I love the way he looks at Hexx and Veetch while saying “I feel safer already” you can tell that they are smirking underneath the helmets lol
- The rest of my men are dead.
- Your failure will be taken care of later.
Such a sad lack of empathy and human concern.
Galactic Empire, no thank you very much
I was so thrilled towards the end when Crosshair made that choice. Mayday was such a weathered and chill clone that when it came to the end, he was able to light a spark in the cold crosshair just a bit
When Mayday asked what team Crosshair was part of, I think he was already regretting not joining rest of the crew after they blew up Kamino. And how the lieutenant told how he was expendable, that was just the final straw.
I just hope they don't insert the inhibitor chip back into him.
@@_MaZTeR_ 100% agree. Not sure if you feel the same but, the episodes with Crosshair this season were better than the ones with the rest of the team. Excluding the two on coruscant.
I was in the Navy for a bit, a lot of officers genuinely act like this
@@priyapepsi I wasn’t looking for praise nor did I want to join, but college needed to get paid for and I had no one to help me
"Respect is something to be earned" very relatable in this day and age
He was literally told how understaffed they were, responded with the equivalent of “whatever” and then started complaining about how understaffed they were.
I feel bad that only the 3 of them are what's left (TT)
If it helps, there 0 of them left now
@@granalmirantethrawn2972 ŏ̥̥̥̥םŏ̥̥̥̥
@@umum9124 at least none of them survived to stay alone right?
*Cries*
I really hate Nolan😡😤
I enjoyed this episode more than the new mandalorian
It's getting common lately
Mandolorian is over rated tbh
I haven't seen the two premiere episodes of that show yet and I heard the exact same thing last week with the Zillo Beast episode, which is pretty worrying.
I think it was a mistake taking Grogu away from Luke in Book of Din Djarin.
same. the mando episode was very good, but i feel this episode of BB was better, at least enjoyed more than mando episode
agreed, I really don't understand where the story goes from here. Grogu doesn't have the same weight in season 1 and 2 because now its just "Mando and Grogu adventures"
"I feel safer already."
The dryness and total lack of any sincerity just made Mayday everyone's favourite non-enhanced clone. Had he survived the incident, however narrowly, he would have been perfect to use against Crosshair; go along with the Empire's plan and Mayday gets the best medical treatment the Empire can provide. Disobey and that treatment slips.
I wish Mayday was a ARC Trooper because he can adapt to any situation.
We don't know about Mayday's background story. I think it's best if we get a series called "Tales of the Clones." We'll get the full story of the rest of the clones.
I knew I hated him the second I heard him say “schedule”
I love how every clone says that to upstarts.
I wonder what legion mayday, Hex, and Beech belonged too ? 212th ,501st/332nd, Wolfpack , green company maybe
A new one
All 332nd except for those left on mandalore were killed during order 66. None remain.
they probably are just from an unmarked unit.
I guess until (if) we get more information on them, Mayday, Hexx, and Veetch will just be part of the Barton-4 Security Force :(
0:50 when u have that overly strict Teacher who demands respect like i am the Sticker lady at Walmart
good series
even though they were on a cold planet, that imperial officer has been burned second to Anakin.
The lieutenant's heart is even colder than the planet.
If Darth Vader was present at this scene, he would have choked Nolan for disrespecting clones.
Biggest CHAD ever
Well second to rex 😅
He confronted a rogue jedi
That LT sounds like one of LTs from from my first army unit fr a lot of them are just like this
Ripley:
How many drops is this for you, Lieutenant?
Gorman:
Thirty eight... simulated.
Vasquez:
How many *combat* drops?
Gorman:
Uh, two. Including this one.
I don’t know where Nolan gets off acting all arrogant. He’s presumably a new officer who’s never seen combat and he’s got the gall to talk down to Mayday, who both outranks him and survived the Clone Wars?
In this episode Mayday is right seeing non clones wearing clone trooper armor is shameful as well as using their weapons
I'm getting Elder Scrolls High Elf vibes from this Imperial officer.
It's been a while since Crispin Freeman was in a Star Wars project. He was Jagi (the Mandalorian who confronts Canderous) in KOTOR.
They real gotta make a show instead of Tales of the Jedi name it Tales of the Clone I wouldn’t mind seeing all these commanders before order 66
If Mayday is a commander i wonder who his jedi general is if he had one?
I love how chill Mayday is, despite Nolan being an asshole to him.
Commander Mayday seems to be Capatain Rex so I was shocked at the end of story.
You mean Commander Rex
Why the hell a clone commander has to listen a imperial lieutenant?
He is a cap
It's not a rank thing, it's because he's a clone.
It’s just like how the US used to treat black people during WW2 and Korea.
Doesnt a commander outrank a luitenant? How can he speak to someone who outranks him like this?
Because as far as the officers of the empire are concerned, clones are inferior tools to be disposed of, regardless of their experience or rank (which is a complete waste in my opinion)
The empire is really starting to grow a big egos and that is the reason why I join the rebels. I can't stand egotistical people who look down on others.
Pisses me off that this lieutenant is angry at Commander Mayday and his men failed to guard this outpost. They failed to resupply them as well as send reinforcements. Makes me hate the empire even more.
At first glance I thought it was Wolffe
Do they actually have the movie style black brow above their visor or is that just dirt?
It’s dirt
Nah, only Grey and the 91st have the line in tcw animation
How much do you want to bet the other clones killed the storm troopers and rescued cross hair. Guess we will find out in 3 weeks after seeing how omega gets her new cross bow or tech gets in another race or the marauder gets a oil change.
Damn 😂 people are so critical only 4 episodes left there gonna be good
Episode 13 pabu (idk)
Episode 14 tipping point (damn that so sounds like a filler episode 😂)
Episode 15 The summit (definately another filler episode)
Episode 16 Plan 99 (that’s for sure filler😮😂)
@JR1212 you know that pabu episode is going to be filler. Pabu sounds like some big stupid space creature that omega will bond with. Search your feelings you know it to be true.
Nolan is just as bad as Pong Krell
I know this is fiction and they really have to get the point across for the kids, but the lieutenant is just too diabolical to be real!
why do i hear itachi taking??????
The lieutenant even sounds like a Thalmor Justicar...
Damn elves. I knew they ruled the empire from the inside!
He does, I will never unhear it
I thought so too. Remember Rulindil?
Ah, the Thalmor Justiciars who mysteriously disappeared from their travels on some backwater road after they questioned if I worshipped any false gods.
i knew i wasnt the only one who thought that
Such a typical ignorant Stormcloak thing to say
All the clones had jedi generals. Even if there was any clone legions without Jedi generals. Every clone from gen 1 clones to gen 2 clones got the order for order 66 it didn’t really matter if they had generals or not. Sidious or grandpa palp had both gen clones get the inhibitor chips put in them. After all it was his plan for the clones to kill all the Jedi anyways plus in legends the clones were fully aware of order 66 either way even before the inhibitor chips became canon and overruled legends. So I mean even in legends the Jedi treated the clones bad either way so I mean the Jedi had it coming tbh I mean imagine having your entire childhood ruined and taken from you to start training as soon as your 4 years old and train up from that age until your a adult. To fight in a war honestly I’ve always loved the clones and honestly idc what anyone says about how the Jedi went out from the clones. The clones got the most tragic life story out of every Star Wars character
