First time watching your vid. Kinda cool to see some of the places here in Sac. Southside Super looks like it is located in the old June's Cafe (10th and V or something like that). Didn't realize the place had reopened as a Japanese/Korean restaurant. Best of luck to both in putting SacTown on the foodie map. 👍👍
Idk you tried it, but I also recommended to try Koja Kitchen. The Korean and Japanese fusion food is so delicious, and I also love about their boba drinks too. It may not be top tier as y'know actual boba places- but they're soooo good. I also recommend trying Rose Tea Lounge, and Ding Tea (for really good boba experience) - if you wanna try salted cheese experience def try the Happy Lemon and I think Ume Tea has it too. I have lot of ideas, but for now I am going to share you the stuff I really do enjoy and go to. Also try the bober tea and coffee place, they open up the momo eggdrop sandwich place along side the mochinut and their boba drinks along with it too. Hope that spark your interest!
We’ve tried Koja a few years ago and haven’t been back… lol. Thanks for all boba recs! Bober is one of our favorite boba chains. Will also try the other spots you mentioned! 👌🏽
Next time order Mochi bacon when you go to binchoyaki, it’s the most popular dish and it’s so good, and they also have chef specials menu at dinner time, more delicious foods on the menu.
Drinking boba, you don't put the straw in the middle. Best at the edge so when it's empty n you still have boba on the bottom, the straw is position perfectly to get all the boba out. Good reviews of Sacramento area good eats. Don't go to Stockton, nothing here. Go to elk Grove sky casino it has an eatery for review from Mexican to pho to ice cream to boba to cake to sushi, all in one eatery area.
You gotta check out the Oyakodon at Binchoyaki. My sister took me there for my birthday years ago. She said it translates to "mother child bowl" or something like that. Don't sleep on Quán Nem Ninh Hòa in Little Saigon either. Some of the best fresh spring rolls I've ever had. Looking forward to more videos!
We love oyakodons! 🔥 We’ll have to order it from there next time. Will have to check out those spring rolls as well! Joseph does love his spice, might have to talk him into it! 😵
@@YourFoodieHomies for me, watching the video without price, in my mind: is it in the range I want to spend? Your video will be less attractive. I watch restaurant videos in order to find good info but you leave out important info. The audience understand the price changed comparing to the date posted. Just my option.
You double dipped your chopsticks into a Community jalapeño condiment thing. You had it in your mouth then you stuck it in the jalapeños, and then you had it in your mouth and you stuck it in the jalapeños.
You guys are really a cute couple. G luck and keep thriving! Gabriela personality is really bubbly and cute (forever young). And you guys need to do a video in San Jose and she could sniff the roses at the Rose Garden. Lol. Stay up!
Keep the Sacramento content coming, fun to see a smaller city highlighted
Definitely will keep ‘em coming!
I know we're not as big as San Francisco or San Jose, but I don't think we're a smaller city.lol
Finally, Sac getting some love! Lol I gotta check out some of these food joints 😊
🫶🏽 Sactown
I'll wait to see your Part 2 before I make a recommendation on my Fave Asian spots in Sacto. Love the video! I have new places to try now.
Thank you for watching! Always like getting recs for other spots as well!
So glad ive found your channel. I love this city snd there are so many places to try.
We appreciate your support! More food vlogs to come!
Stopping the video half way to tell you all, that I love the vibes.
Aye, we appreciate it! 🤙🏽🙂
Thank you for recording Seapot! I live right by there and wanted to know how it is. Definitely next on my list.
It’s our go-to for hotpot! Nice that you live right by it. So happy they opened one in Sac.
Wait this is so cool!! I love seeing you guys put Sac on the map.
Very underrated city for food. 👍🏽

Sactown food is coming up!
I love how you guys are together. Seem like such a lovely chill couple.
Not sure about chill, but we are a good time. Thank you! 🙃
Thanks for the vid! At Seapot can we Hot Pot & Korean BBQ at the same table?
Yes, you can!
What a great video! I've been wanting to check out these spots but I haven't gotten around to it, this is definitely a sign!
Definitely worth trying these spots! Especially Southside Super and Binchoyaki. 👌🏽

how am I from Sac and haven’t heard of most of these restaurants 😅
The Sactown food scene is comin’ up!
Next time order Mochi bacon when you go to binchoyaki, it’s the most popular dish and it’s so good, and they also have chef specials menu at dinner time, more delicious foods on the menu.
Thank you for the recommendations! We can’t wait to go back and try more yummy foods.
My favorite place 👍
I was really looking forward to the Panda Express review!
Maybe it’ll make the cut for Ep. 2 🤔
Yummy! What a sweet couple 🧚🏾♂️
Thank you!
Kru Contemporary is one of our favorite Japanese sushi restaurant. ❤
Kru is one of our top favorite restaurants as well!
Check out Swish54 Japanese Fondue in Elk Grove, Umai Sushi in Elk Grove, Pho Xelua in Sacramento.
For sure! Japanese Fondue is intriguing.
Been in Sac for 27 years and have never seen the restaurants you have featured. I am interested in the Seapot, will dine there soon. Thanks.
Glad to hear it! Seapot is definitely worth trying out.
@@YourFoodieHomies done. I was impressed, better than most hotpots. Will be watching more of your Sac videos.
Hell yeah! Much appreciated! 🙏🏽
Also ktown in Roosevelt is also good
Have you tried the Japanese Restaurant in old Sac? It’s a downstairs restaurant. It’s really good.
Which one?
Gabby! You came up on my RUclips! Looking forward to all the food content!!
Haha glad you found us!! Thank you for the support! 😊
Ya the sweet potatoes at bincho are really good
The sweet potatoes are essential 🔥

Can you guys do hole in the wall non-franchise spots in sacramento???
This video and the majority of our videos feature local/“hole in the wall” spots…
Panda express I almost fell for it 😅
Maybe in the next one 🙃
It will be good if you share the prices or bill 😊
I'll have to try the jalapeño
The pickled jalapeños are on point!
It’s sad that I live in Sacramento my whole life and I have never been to any of these restaurants 😅
Definitely all worth trying out!

We do eat around Elk Grove sometimes. Love the food diversity out there!

Also, Joseph seems to be somewhat of a spice lord. Have him try the Challenge Ramen at Edokko in Greenhaven. 😁

Should put the price of each plate and the address of restaurants. The more info, the more people get interested.
We don’t put prices anymore since they can always change. Also, we sometimes mention the address but both can be googled/searched.

Maybe look again and you’ll see we use the serving spoon everytime. Never touched the jar of jalapeños with our own chopsticks... awkward. 😬

Thank you for the kind words! We do plan on doing a South Bay Food Tour soon! Love eating around SJ!
Nice. G luck and can’t wait for that video 😊
