NAPA VALLEY, CALIFORNIA - Welcome to the beautiful Napa Valley, just north of San Francisco in California, USA. Today we’re going on an ultimate food tour in Napa Valley. We’ll be taking a tour of a great vineyard and pairing wine with food, then we’ll be eating a number of delicious meals that are produce driven using locally sourced ingredients. So let’s get ready to eat our way through Napa Valley!

Cakebread Cellars (g.page/cakebreadwines?share) - We met up with Chef Brian who took us on a brief tour of Cakebread Cellars. We then spent some time in the beautiful and lunch garden where much of the produce is grown and harvested. We tried four different wines along with food pairing, all of which was excellent.
Pizzeria Tra Vigne (g.page/pizzeriatravigne?share) - Next up on this food tour in Napa Valley we met up with Chef Nash at Pizzeria Tra Vigne. One of the best things about Pizzeria Tra Vigne is his attention to detail and freshness and specifically minute made fresh mozzarella cheese. It’s really that good!
Compline Restaurant and Wine Shop (g.page/complinewine?share) - Next we met up with Matt from Compline Restaurant and Wine Shop in downtown Napa Valley. They have a small, yet friendly wine shop and restaurant. The food was outstanding!
Boon Fly Café (goo.gl/maps/Eo77ypFBgU8f31Vx5) - And finally to wrap up this Napa Valley food tour we met up with Chef Jeffrey at Boon Fly Café. Again we toured the vegetable and herb garden to see some of the ingredients used in the cooking. Boon Fly Café is known for its amazing brunch, and they brought us out a feast of all things California breakfast. The food was fantastic, great quality and an incredible variety. Highly recommended for a wonderful breakfast when you’re in Napa Valley.

Mark, I was on a business trip in San Fran, I stopped by the Boon Fly Cafe because of your review. Absolutely phenomenal! The Eggs Benedict is probably the best I had in my life!
I am proud to say I have been to all of these places. My husband was born and raised in St.Helena and I look forward to our trips each year back to his home town. I did not know about wine country before I met him and everyone seemed blown away when I mentioned where he was from and now I know why. We have been every season and my favorite is fall. The smell of the crushed grapes lingers in the fresh air and the colors of the valley are unforgettable. Spring is my second fav with the beautiful fields of mustard flowers and the ripening fruit trees on every corner.
I agree about the heavenly scent of crushed grapes! It's one of my favorite smells! I used to put the windows down on my way to rwork at the hospital in St. Helena each morning to enjoy it.

I’m from the SF Bay Area and have had many visits to Napa & Sonoma over 40+ years, but I have to add, there is no time of the year that doesn’t have it’s own special ambience. I even love December and when you visit the wineries, there’s an excitement among the staff as they make preparations for their winery’s own special celebration each of them has for their staff, whom they treat like family. There are decorations and Christmas trees everywhere…we always just loved it.
I love the end-of-harvest season, too, when it’s hot and dry, and there are still grapes here and there raisoning on the vines. It’s fun to discover the small bottle late harvest wines and find out what surprises they had this year. They are different each year- it depends on Mother Nature and what crops were right for late harvest wines. And then the dining in the outdoor settings when it cools earlier in the evening and the sun is setting as you enjoy your meal.
There’s never a bad time to experience the rhythm of the seasons there. It’s all beautiful!
My grandma loves your videos and would always get ideas where to eat. She would play your videos almost 24/7. Even when she is asleep, I can hear your videos playing in the background. When she eats in her room, she also eats along with you. I take her out every week because she loves to eat and would always crave something from your videos. I was supposed to take her this weekend on one of the places you've shown in your videos. But two days ago she got very ill. Everything happened so suddenly. At this point, we are just waiting for her to go. But we are still playing your videos for her. Even if she cant open her eyes, she can hear your videos. Thanks for making these videos :) you've kept her entertained for a long time.

What I love about Mark's production is that even after years and 8M subs, it still feels like a young tuber on his adventure. No big production crew, no forced reactions, just raw footage, as if we were there with him experiencing the moment in real time.

And, he is using a big heavy camera without any crews. He is a real professional for shooting videos. He had been using GH5 for a long time. Now he seems using Sony FX3 which creates spectacular videos.

Brazil has great food culture. in the big cities you can find a vast array of food from all over the world, as their big cities have a large immigrant community just like the U.S. and then every region in Brazil has a unique menu. in Bahia, it's the African - Portuguese mix. in Minas Gerais it's the colonial Portuguese influence. and the south of Brazil it's more of a European influence, Portuguese, Italian, German . enjoy your trip

My favorite chef to work with was a Chinese chef. The most patient, and least arrogant. His food was so good.
Damn, that food at the winery is absolutely top notch, quality ingredients cooked to perfection by that chef.

The last place you visited Boon Fly Cafe sure did treat you right with what seems like the entire breakfast menu. Kudos to them for being such a wonderful host. Breakfast lunch is my favorite meal of the day and most important. The chef was wonderful and they had a very nice fresh garden of vegies and herbs to use in their food preparation. The other place which made fresh mozzarella looked good on that toasted Italian bread, and the homemade pizzas definitely looked delicious. It was interesting to see how he shaped and formed the cheese curds while it melted, yum.
Looks like super classy, good ingredients and fresh nourishment. Amazing how Mark, is at home in Food Trucks, Auntie's Kitchen and Highend Restaurants. It's all GOOD Stuff.

Chef Nash was at an event we had for our winery! He was making the cheese right in front of us, best thing everr!!! Definitely was the most popular appetizer.
After Mark has been all over the globe he still visits restaurants in good ole Americana that I could see myself visiting. You could see Mark in Napa Valley then in South Philly my old stomping ground. Keep doing what you do brother I'll be watching.
I’m so pumped Tra Vigne lives on in a new pizzeria. We were eating at their original location for 20 plus years when ownership got into a tussle over rent. I LOVE Cakebread Cellars wine.One of my favorites.Famous for Chards but Pinots and cabs grest too. Loved the winery. Modern and airy.The freshness of the farm to table food ingredients is what makes CA.cuisine sing.The gorgeous restaurant/winery gardens were breathtaking.So lush.Love NAPA but all of our many wine producing regions in CA.are also wonderful.Very fortunate to live here.

This was a wonderful Napa Valley Food Tour. First Chef Jeffrey tour of winery and wine tasting. Great chef! Every bite must've been great. Wines looked great as well whites and reds. Then the pizza resteraunt. All pizzas looked great due to the wood burning oven. But my favorite The Boon Cafe! All the Brunch dishes The eggs benedicts with corned beef, green tomatoes, and the Mexican my favorite of them all. The chicken and waffles, the Maple/pancake drink and of course bloody Mary. Plus the dessert with all that FRESH FRUIT. For me it's the honesty of how they grow organic all vegetables and fruits so good up there.
That Corned Beef hash looks amazing. That breakfast could have been an entire video by itself.
