Thanks for sharing Mark. I recognised a number of places in San Francisco where I had visited back in late 2016. I even recognised the little stall where I purchased some pearls for my wife and daughters. Many thanks again. I remember buying some crabs in San Francisco, which I took back to my sister's home, only to be told by my nephew who is a doctor, that I should not risk eating the crabs due to some sort of algae that had poisoned the flesh. As a San Franciscan, I m so thrilled to see Mark Wein featuring our amazing belove city to the world.. Unfortunately the pandemic has especially hit the touristy areas like Fisherman's Wharf and pier 39 the hardest. This area used to be packed with people all over. But now it look almost like a ghost town. Lots of stores are still closed or no longer in business. Just sad and heartbroken to see such an amazing place look so deserted. Thanks Mark for putting our amazing city back on the map. Hopefully everything will be back to normal once again.🙏🙏🙏
Well, Arizona, Texas, Tennessee and Florida were all open by then. The difference? Your governor and mayors. THEY killed your tourism and restaurant industries. Can't understand why Gruesome Newsom survived his recall....smh.
From what I understand the pandemic wasn't the only thing that destroyed San Francisco. I was stationed there in the early 90's and I understand that unfortunately it isn't the same beautiful city that it was when I was there.
I can usually watch your videos and only wish I was eating along with you, this time I found myself, several times with my mouth open ready to take a bite. It looked so totally delicious! 🌼

Hi Mark and Ying: My wife and I love your videos. Back in the 1950's, my father use to stop at the corner bar here in Milwaukee every payday and pick up four Dungeness crabs for our family. Believe it or not, they only cost a quarter each back then. When the bar's raised the price to 30 cents each my father told us if they got any higher in price he would stop buying them. Take care, Steve and Jayne, Fox Point, Wisconsin
Mark, you never stop to make amazing videos. Your energy, effort, and humble attitude has kept me to be one of your fans for sometime now. Your brand always keeps me smiling. Keep doing what you do and know 2022 will be even more spectacular than ever before.
Thank you for showing us the garlic crab and garlic noodles from the Vietnamese restaurant. I can't wait to come back to San Francisco. I know where to go eat! Cheers.
I love your show. You are fantastic eating all those delicious food and you bought your wife and son with you. Family should be together. Please tell your family HELLO!
Garlic noodles are a Vietnamese take on Italian pasta e burro. Very San Francisco natural fusion kind of thing. I hope you tackle mission burritos before you leave SF. I lived there most of my life and the big burritos were a staple food for most of the locals, and now have spread around the world.
@@Yungdil Most SF Italians are tuscan, piemontese, ligurian + some sicilians. The more typical thing is pasta burro. With garlic technically it's pasta con aglio e burro. Pasta aglio e olio is a Naples thing, though it's related.
When Mark opens his story with I hope you are having an imazing day, for sure it pans out with his wows and makes me very hungry by the end.Keep up with your love for foods.
Dungeness Crab is some of the sweetest, meatiest crab. King Crab is great but there is something about the flavor of the Dungies. Boiled in seawater is the absolute best. Greetings from Portland Oregon USA

Another beautiful video Mark! While I'm still hospitalized the crab 🦀 dishes have made my tummy growl. The sea lions made me smile today and seeing Mika super excited about the doughnuts brought a huge 😃 to my face. Sharing the love of food is one of the most enjoyable parts of various cultures. You keep sharing Mark and enjoy the time you have left in the USA. Happy holidays from this sick girly 💗
Visit California did a great thing by sponsoring Mark. After watching this video we went out and bought ourselves 2 Dungeness crabs from the local H-Mart here in Houston and steamed them up for dinner! They were so sweet and meaty. I have a feeling Mark was biting his lips when the chef at Crab House at Pier 39 cleaned out all the tomalley and throw it away. The top part of the crab shell could have been used as a container to add some rice and cioppino broth in them and mix them up for a nice side dish! Thanks for another wonderful video.

Thanks Mark for putting our amazing city back on the map. Hopefully everything will be back to normal once again.🙏🙏🙏
even the sea lions have mostly deserted them. i'm a san franciscan too.
Anytime is a good time to eat. Thanks for taking us along Mark! 😀
I’m sure Mark’s heart breaks when they “clean” out the gut parts. That’s where the flavor is at!
ruclips.net/video/Djw35bPYcPc/видео.html ....
i think the "cleaned" parts went into that secret crab sauce
Amen to that, oh with a bowl of rice. Hell ya!
i have never seen somebody eat that parts ....where are you from china !?
@@DeanMonio was going to say the same thing "the nuttiness" haha its how i make my garlic noodles as well
Your smile is contagious without a doubt :) but I should say a lot more about what you are :) Keep going and you will save the world!
Mark you make me smile, the way you enjoy what you are eating is infectious !!!! God Bless
You know it must be superbly delicious when Mark begins to laugh then lean his whole body before the trademark “Ohhh Wow!” 😂
i like him but i’m getting extremely sick of the oh wow/wao

I can usually watch your videos and only wish I was eating along with you, this time I found myself, several times with my mouth open ready to take a bite. It looked so totally delicious! 🌼
Wow Mark you are literally living a blessed life 🙏🏽 🙌🏾, you get to travel and eat the most incredible food and stay small too. It doesn't get any better, plus your family travels with you. Keep bringing it 💯
27:26 *I'd LOVE to taste them right now! I'm in Airbnb in Istanbul and all I have in my kitchen is ramen noodles haha. On my way to make them and watch the rest of the video while eating them :). Loving the video, thank you :). Hi from Istanbul the kebab land :)*
😁
Ramen is food the world over! Add what you have and eat up. I remember getting them here in the USA 10 for $1 as a starving college student
Airbnb but only got noodles you got revaluate your priorities haha

Aren't the street food kebab's inexpensive? Probably not 10 for a dollar but I'm guessing you might even get a couple of meals for a buck
i
Great episode! I could really go for a crab dinner and those garlic noodles look amazing
Mark! You're in my town and showcasing it so nicely! So glad you came. Awesome video.
Thank you once again Mark for sharing your wonderful experience with the crab feast in San Francisco! Thanh Long has the best roasted crab and garlic noodles. I love that place. Enjoy! 👍👍
God bless mark his family and his crew for the videos the make for us to enjoy Great work
Our favorite places to eat crab in SF are PPQ Dungeness, Than Long, R&G Lounge, and Crab House. If you’re ever in SF these places are a must try!
Garlic noodles are a Vietnamese take on Italian pasta e burro. Very San Francisco natural fusion kind of thing. I hope you tackle mission burritos before you leave SF. I lived there most of my life and the big burritos were a staple food for most of the locals, and now have spread around the world.
La Cumbre!
El Gallo Giro truck and La Palma are where it’s at
i would say garlic noodles are a vietnamese take on pasta aglio e olio
@@Yungdil It tastes completely different. Try it you'll see.
@@Yungdil Most SF Italians are tuscan, piemontese, ligurian + some sicilians. The more typical thing is pasta burro. With garlic technically it's pasta con aglio e burro. Pasta aglio e olio is a Naples thing, though it's related.
Thank you for sharing your crab recipe and garlic noodles from Thanh Long, I, just, LOVE their roasted crab and garlic noodles! All Time Best!
When Mark opens his story with I hope you are having an imazing day, for sure it pans out with his wows and makes me very hungry by the end.Keep up with your love for foods.
I was the GM at the Crab House @ Pier 39 for a year, the amount of crab we sold everyday was mind boggling ! great Video Mark !
Any reason why the crab roe gets cleaned out? that's some of the best part of a crab
@@ChrisZ901 they use it in the secret crab garlic sauce :-)
@@danieltalbot749 glad to know that they do not waste it 😀
What a beautiful place ....very huge crabs wow love crabs enjoy Mark....u take care an stay safe.
😋😋🌺🌺💞💞
When I go to San Francisco I will definitely go to that restaurant. Thanks Mark for this video and the delicious feasting.
Mark I have watched you and your family for years.
I enjoy it right along with you. Right now I am in Canada at 2:45 am and I am hungry and drooling.
Dungeness Crab is some of the sweetest, meatiest crab. King Crab is great but there is something about the flavor of the Dungies. Boiled in seawater is the absolute best. Greetings from Portland Oregon USA
Thank you for the upload Mark! You are awesome!!
I've lived in the Bay Area my whole life so I am very very happy watching these videos 🥰🥰
Mark, can you tell me where you will be in San Francisco in the next few days?? You know I am here in San Francisco.. I know lots of places that I'm sure you would love.. I am the rookie Chef and I visit lots of restaurants here as i am also a doordash driver.. Supporting you always my bro.. Much love!!
You have the best job in the world… stress free and tasteful.. love the channel!!!!
Wow Mark !!! I love the way the flavor just keeps on adding up on your palate at the Crustacean!!!
Another amazing video mark. I am so jealous and starving while watching him eat all of that seafood. And his delecious face tells me that its really delecious.😋😋😋💖
*I love Dungeness crab and garlic noodles. I need to get to San Francisco.* 🦀🦀🦀🍲🍲🍲🔥
Thank you for taking that ginormous bite of those garlic noodles!!! Swoon!
I cant afford to miss videos from Mark. 💖😘👍
That Vietnamese Restaurant's food looks so delicious and Mark's reaction only clarifies it.
Very delicious! My all time favorite restaurant.
Having lived in SFO for 30 years, those crab and garlic noodles are my most favorites ever. They are simply the best and most delicious combo.
You live at the airport??
@@porieux Perhaps you take things too literally😁. Doesn't airport designation SFO belong to San Francisco and its surrounding? Yes, I live 5 miles from the airport and I'm not sure if there are housing accommodations at the airport.😂
@@nlwin7789 SFO means the airport specifically. I was wondering how someone could live there 😂
@@porieux Do you seriously think I don't know what SFO means or would want others to think I live at the airport? Yes, I could have said SF or land of 49ers but again, most with common sense would get what it means by SFO abbreviated. No pun intend and sorry if my English is not enough for you to understand but here's Google definition:SFO
Acronym Definition
SFO San Francisco, CA, USA - San Francisco International Airport (airport code)
SFO Serious Fraud Office (UK)
SFO Secular Franciscan Order
SFO Sector Field Office
@@nlwin7789 i don’t know you and I don’t think anything about you, just responding to your post. This is not a language issue…land of 49ers? That would be Santa Clara. Just say San Francisco or SF or even Frisco. Or say whatever you want; I was just making an observation you don’t have to care what I think.
I so appreciate the culture and history in all your videos.
Oh Wow that bite of those garlic noodles outstanding!
Cant believe that i m more curious to try those noodles than the crab itself, looks amazing
Totally 💯 agree 👍🏻
As a SF local, I can tell you that without exaggeration the noodles are life altering. I wouldn’t be surprised if people offered their first born for the recipe. 😂
