It’d be cool if you guys could put time stamps in with the names of the restaurants / storefronts. Not trying to be sassy just thought it might help a Sacramento area channel get even bigger! I just moved here so I’m excited to see your other recommendations and videos! 💖
Hi! We appreciate the suggestion & the support. Welcome to the 916! We avoid using timestamps because it actually helps our channel more when people watch the whole video through.
I’ve lived here my whole life and I’ve wondered about so many of these places. Thanks for sharing you’ve inspired me to try a few new places in the coming weeks.
I so needed this two-part review of Asian food in Sac! Kru is a no-brainer for us locals with the accolades Billy Ngo keeps racking up, but the hole-in-the-wall spots with awesome food are everywhere, so we need someone to light the way to the best ones! And damn, just the sound of the fish sando from Mecha Mucho has me gettin' the car keys. :) I'd love to hear about your fav Chinese spot in town. My husband and I have been searching for a decent replacement for take-out since they closed our go-to (RIP Louie's!) We drive down to Elk Grove's Happy Garden when we're in the mood to eat in the restaurant, but end up eating just OK delivery when we don't. We know there has to be something better close by since we live near Stockton & Fruitridge--help!
Hell yeah, thanks for watching our video! We still dream of the fish sando for Mecha Mucho!! We will be on the hunt for the best Chinese food in the area.
Just wanted to say that I'm vibing y'all.. Respect 👍 I'm originally from NY, but been here in the Sacto area for a good minute.... Maybe too long..... lol 🤣 I got 5 on it.... 5 kids... Only my oldest son was born in NY. All of my other kids are pure Cali born and bred and definitely representing
Gabby! You and Joseph are SO CUTE and you make me SO HUNGRY with your videos. 😂 Fun fact: I was raised in Japan Town from age 2-12 our house was on 9th and W. They tore it down later and built a different house there. We didn’t call it Japan Town though. Another fun fact: Osaka Ya used to be across the street on the corner of 10th and W, and we used to go there all the time for snow cones during the summer. We shopped at all of the little markets and the pharmacy that used to be on 10th and V. That was a lot of fun facts! 😂 Thanks for taking me back to my old ‘hood! L❤VE U! 🎉
Lydia! That is so awesome that you used to live in Japan Town, it sounds like it was lots of fun back then, I’m happy to see it’s thriving again! 🤗 Thank you for watching & supporting us! Love you always! ☺️
Thanks for the video and the great review. That fish sandwich looked spectacular. Just a suggestion, maybe a little tighter editing would help your videos? And please do more content! Great job!
Do you guys have some special mic that amplifies crunch sounds? There's no way a ban mi and a fried fish sandwich can be that crunchy. Ok I can't wait to try those places.
Go try Tay Giang by CRC for catfish spring rolls. OC Seafood house. Manila claims in lemon grass broth, razor clams, scallops with quail egg, fried taro strips with beef.
Y'all are a beautiful couple spreading Love and trying to get Mofos breaking bread locally and supporting our local restaurants and businesses.... Respect... Keep spreading the word on SacTown and what we got right here.... Yes, Yes Y'all
BTW.... Udon Thani, Isaan Province, Representing.... Blasian.... Lao, Hmong, Thai, Cambodian, Vietnamese, Malaysian, Indonesian, etc.... All Get Love From Me.... My Peeps
Can you guys try out this restaurant off 65th in South Sac call Pipo? I always see it but never tried it out. I believe it's Thai food and Japanese ramen.
Sorry to tell you Sacramento Chinese restaurant is a desert. Nothing stands out. New lai wah on Freeport is decent. However the place need some clean up. For Japanese kru is pricey but with very nice decor. If you don't mind drive a bit to Elk Grove. Fujiya is the locals secret Hangout. For hot pot all you can eat. Seaport on florin road is a nice choice. Meat quality is very good. And a very unique conveyor belt food delivery system makes an interesting and time saving. Binchoyaki on 10th an all time favorite a bit pricey. But very genuine Japanese style izakaya BBQ house.
As I said before, add the Aviator restaurant at the old airport on Freeport blvd to you dining list. Breakfast and lunch only and the food is great. 8 8 2024
Yaaasss! Gratuitous Nelly and AJ1 shots FTW!
Nelly is for the people! And had to rock the shadow 1s!

Top 3 of all time, that is some high praises. I will have to check it out. Also, the sashimi platter looked premium
That Much-o-Fish sando was legit! Sashimi is completely necessary if you go to Kru!

Definitely will add it to the list! Love Thai and ramen.
There's a cool little tofu house right by duc houng too
Good to know!
They made fresh soy milk and soft tofu desert daily. Is the local favorite
try the shawarma at Adams International Halal Market in Elk Grove.
Been looking for a good shawarma!
I second this recommendation
Duc Huong (sp?) is located in Little Vietnam area.
Rocklin roseville lincoln and folsom has some great spots

Do an afghan restaurant
Haven’t been to one yet, so just might have to

Silver Garden & Mongolian BBQ! So bomb!! 4321 Madison Ave A, Sacramento, CA 95842
Nice, we love Mongolian BBQ!
Hell no! Diarrhea central
@@hinnyQ been there hella times n no diarrhea or bad experience

Kru is overpriced. I know people that deliver fish there its all frozen stuff. Same as other sushi around Sacramento. You just paying more .
Even if it's from the same distributor, there are different grades of the same fish.
Pork is such a terrible meat i try not to eat it too. They say beef is even more unhealthy but only pork makes me feel like crap usually
Team No Pork 🐖
You're Filipino but no pork??? Whaaaat?!
Yup, almost 12 years no pork lol
As I said before, add the Aviator restaurant at the old airport on Freeport blvd to you dining list. Breakfast and lunch only and the food is great. 8 8 2024
We’ll add it to the list! We love brunch
