Thank you for checking out my video! I’m always looking for new places to try and review so if you have any suggestions on great places to hit up in the Bay Area, please drop a comment below! I also enjoy eating non-Asian food 😀
Hey Jeff! I am from the Bay Area too, and I am new to your site. I know you haven’t made a lot of videos yet, but keep doing what you’re doing. You go straight to the point with very little small talk. I love it. You cover a lot of places in each video. Thank you.
@@bobbyliu96 Thanks for that comment and checking my content out. I’m glad you enjoyed it and if you know of any great places that may be worth creating a future video on, I’m always open for suggestions for food. There’s just so much in the Bay
Just subbed. It's refreshing to see the title "BAY AREA" foodie spots for Asian cuisine. Usually, it's always LA or Vegas. So thanks for covering this region! 👍
Thanks for checking out my video and appreciate that comment. Trying to make each video better but also staying true to who I am knowing my content doesn’t jive with everyone. I do tend to talk a lot 🤣
You’re welcome and yes the prices of most of these places were definitely on the pricier side but also me feeding a family of 4 that day too didn’t help with the cost 😉. Definitely will try and find & share my experiences at some more hole in the wall spots
I know it's been 8 months. Next time when you come to the Bay area please try Din Ding in Union City or Fremont and/or Full House Dumpling, which is located in Fremont. We have lots and lots of regional Chinese cuisines in the Tri-City area of Union City, Fremont and newark.
Usually the sweet and tangy sauce that comes with the beef balls is just worchestshire sauce or they called it "geep jup". The chive dumplings is called "gau choi gao".
Great stuff, bro! I just found your channel, and I’m kind of in the same boat in life as you are, leaving the rat race behind to travel more. I also just went to Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore as well. Keep up the great content!
Awesome about the big change in life. It can be nerve racking for sure and there are certainly pros and cons but it's given me a whole new level of freedom and peace. Good luck to you in that journey and thanks for watching my video
I was in Seoul last year and had no idea about the dish at the time and would have definitely tried it there. I only discovered it for the first time while planning the day in the Bay Area. It was spectacular. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for checking out my video. In terms of trading, I was quite familiar with investing for a good chunk of my life so trading came somewhat naturally in terms of the mechanics. I’ve been actively trading for 5+ years now and I have learned though that it is more of an art rather than a science. Having a good mentor and a community is important too for consistency. Check out Peter Reznicek and his team at ShadowTrader. They also have a RUclips channel. Hope that helps
Hey Jeff. I'm on the hunt for the going extinct Dim Sum, such as the Siu Mai With Quail Egg, Gai Jat (Chicken Wrap), Gee Mah Cuon (Sesame Tapioca Roll), Pork Balls, Stuffed Chicken Wing, Pork Blood Jook, Curry Pork Skin, Tong Yoon........
Can't recall where exactly, but black sesame rolls still exists. Possibly in Chinatown or some older restaurants such as Imperial Garden, Grand Palace, or Hung To. The Tong yoon in your mind depends on where it's origin is from.
I don't want to be rude, but, the Bay is one of the only places where chao Chinese exist. Vien houng in downtown Chinatown is a staple. I will definitely fight you on that.
Hey I’m all for suggestions and I don’t find your comment rude at all. No worries. I do plan to keep expanding my video library as time permits to other areas as well so will keep Vien Houng in mind
@@igcm2rain San Francisco Bay Area. I'm sure there are more scattered throughout the US, but, Oakland CA is the only place I know that has Chao Chinese food.
I have wondered if the chinese or Asian foods in the Bay Area are known to be better than the chinese or Asian foods here in Southern California. I have been told “Yes”.
I do think SoCal and specifically LA & OC have more options but in terms of quality at least from my personal experience, they’re head to head. Others may have differing opinions for sure which is totally fair. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

You're welcome! I do know that LA and Vegas have plenty of great places to eat as well but the Bay Area is definitely at the same level in my opinion.
