I recommend you try Horn BBQ in Oakland for their Texas style bbq. I know they’ve received some Michelin ranking, not sure if it was the Bib Gourmand though

I have to go with Bird, because root beer brings back childhood memories because we didn’t drink soda pop in our house so getting a root beer float was a really big treat.

All the food looked so tasty, I’ve added the taco and tapas restaurants to my “want to go” list. If you do another one of these videos don’t sleep on Oakland, we have some great Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurants. I recommend Horn BBQ their amazing Texas style bbq

It’s not Michelin starred, it’s a “bib gourmand”, which is a different rating that Michelin gives out for cheaper places that are still really good, but it’s just not possible for a casual place to get a Michelin star because of the criteria they use to rate them.

That po boy bread is legit. My dad is from New Orleans and my great great uncles were the originators of the poboy so you get the Martin approval on the bread. You haven’t lived until you’ve have a roast beef and gravy poboy on the right bread

Hi Meimei. I like root beer but it's not my favorite. My mouth waters everytime you do a video like this. I really enjoyed the different places that you went to. I like these better than fish, shrimp, lobster, or anything that comes out of the ocean videos. I am so picky when it comes to my food. Been this way all my life. I have tried fish and shrimp and as soon as it went into my mouth I had to spit it out. Not for me. That pizza looked soooo good tho. I think you have surpassed the 8000 likes so I guess you have to this in SF. Thank you Meimei for sharing

Oh yea that coffee you had with the condensed milk... it's kind of like how they make Vietnamese coffee. If you research how to make Vietnamese Coffee some recipes will say to use cafe du Monde coffee with the condensed milk so yea that coffee is strong. It would probably taste better if they put more condensed milk inside.. I thought it was strange at first when I saw recipes using that brand of coffee but it works 👍🏽😁
the new orleans one though is truly sour and they don't use a phin for it so it's not the same process! this one is more light, like a nitro cold brew style rather than a slow concentrated drip (:
