  • Hey Bimmer Bros! Thanks for joining us for the first upload of the year!
We hope you had a great 2022 and hope you stick with us for 2023. Today we tackle a common problem on the E93 M3 which is quite common on all E9X (E90, E92, E93) M3 cars since the S65 uses dual actuators to open and close those beautiful ITBs. The gears inside are plastic and tends to weaken and break over time. So today that is exactly what we will be tackling!
If you are experiencing trouble codes such as
2B15, 2B16, 2B21, 2B22, 2B25, 2B,26 then you should consider removing and inspecting your throttle actuators before taking the dive and buying a new set.

Sounds like it may possibly be in limp mode. Are you getting any timing related codes?
