I just put my e92 m3 into a specialist dealer. They immediately identified a problem with the vacuum booster pump. They cleaned it out and it seemed to fix the problem.
You can remove those light error codes on the iDrive with Carly as well. I got those same codes when I upgraded to the LCI taillights and upgraded the bulbs on my headlights. It's been almost 2 years since I did it, but if I remember correctly, you have to "disable voltage check" from those lights.
Z Nismo Thank you very much for this information, that is very interesting, I did try and turn off the adaptive lights with Carly but couldn’t turn off the fault, I was told that I had to use A program that completely deletes the headlights and then you have to build them up from scratch hence I haven’t done it yet.
Z Nismo yes that’s what I thought.. the plan is the mod the original lights at some point and put them back on the car so I’ll probably live with the errors for the time being
@@carlubetv if i was you I would still give it a shot disabling what I said. Because like I said, I had those exact error messages on my iDrive and the they went away after I did that. But again, I only changed the light bulbs to brighter aftermarket ones, not the entire headlight
the TA is easy i replaced it with contental replacement full replacement for both. new wont do re built wont last. i use castrol 10w 60 always warm up keep oil are full top arrow, rods are fine.
@@carlubetv thanks for the Video. Sorry you no longer have your M3 I have a 2011 E93 Alpine/Fox Red (extended) 😊. My car went into limp the exact same way! I had it towed to my shop, nothing! Same codes, cleared and has been doing great. I had just got replacement valve covers and planed to replace the fuel injectors and plugs since the covers were coming off. I also planned for replacement the Vanos covers, fuel breather valve, then after planning for those, the “Limp model” so now I am doing the Actuators (Continental/VDO) and I decided to replace the idle control valve too! I feel like I’ll be all set regarding those items. The rods were done last year 👍🏾😊🙏🏾. I have been using Tim’s warmup method. I’m at 89K miles and hope to have at least 8m9K more. Just wanted to share with both You and Tim and thank you both. I used you channel as a “guide” for my maintenance. The roof maintenance was invaluable! Cheers Mate ✌🏾👍🏾😊
If its the actuators playing up the codes will initially go away but after time they will pop up more frequently and eventually stay on, as well as staying in limp mode until replaced.
Here’s a question,..storing your bmw in a garage for over 1 year on trickle charge while your out of the country and then returning back to uk a little over 1 year later and the bmw starts up 1st time but I also noticed the engine warning light appeared and I drove it to bmw dealership for MOT and the engine was just lagging and I couldn’t accelerate the car to go above 20mph on route to the dealership,..so I gather the engine has gone into limp mode,..now my car is only just under 4 years old and only covered 4,923 miles from new so can storing your bmw for over a year in the garage under trickle charge cause the engine to go into limp mode?,..also the rear axle differential lock restricted comes on yet says you can continue driving,..if problems reoccur,..have it checked by your BMW service Partner,..also the Tyre pressure notification appears and tells you to check Tyre pressures,..again this is because the car has been kept in storage for over a year and there’s every possibility that the weight of the car cause tyre pressure to lower once car has been stored for such a long time whilst under trickle charge,..
Dealers take so long tho for appointments. I read the check engine light and it says it suggest i fix the coil on to fix the misfire for cylinder 5 and 6,7,8 but i have no idea if that will fix the problem as it says the fuel pressure is incorrect. Can anyone help?

i also use carly to clear code after new TA install
Mine is currently in the shop for this 😂
Ok, it was the brake booster sensor in the end.
Definitely throttle actuator. Reset the codes and turn car off for half an hour. The codes will come back every 3rd or 4th start
Stime Maintenance thank you, do you know if that fault tends to disable the cold start too?
