TJs is absolutely dripping in rock nostalgia and the Cobain story is excellent. Played there many times as a youngster. Someone please resurrect this grand building!!!!
Sad to see the building in such a state. My cousin lived in Newport in the early 90's. We were having a night out, just heard music and wandered in. It was mental in there 😄 My first mosh pit 🤘

Thank you for making this video, John Sicolo was my uncle and I spent a lot of time around the club and I have a ton of great memories. I moved to the states a few years before he passed away, but he did come over and surprised me with a visit, every body knew he was coming except me, which was great. It was so sad to see the state of the club it brought a tear to my eye, there was so many rock stories that came out of that place it should have been turned into a museum. Once again thank you for the video.

TJ’s was my first introduction into nightlife back in 1994.
I saw my first gig there aged 16 Supergrass supported by the Bluetones for £5.
Saw loads of gigs there from 1994-2004..used to go to Le Pub in town the start of the night then end up in TJ’s until 2am on a Friday or Saturday..great memories…never saw one fight or any trouble..I remember it being very loud,very hot & absolutely rammed

I watched this video 400 yards from William S Burroughs' house.
Story goes as well that the only time Nicky wire met Kurt cobain was at that show, nicky was there with his brother the writer patrick jones. Patrick has written about that show.
