"Windows 10 is the last version of Windows" Holding them to it since they STILL have not come back on that statement publicly. I hate 99% of windows 11, I don't want to keep looking for a setting I know was there but no longer is. I JUST want to use my computer as an interface for programs and not keep tinkering with it or have to do all kinds of workarounds to restore behavior my muscle memory expects.
i honestly don't have any crashing issues in windows 11 but truthfully i have noticed running sfc in Command line have had windows 11 files corrupt alot so i assume thats probably the reason alot of computers on w11 are crashing + outdated hardware and drivers
the power toys run search is so much better, prioritizes apps, files, settings, commands, then web results in your default browser. its super customizable and actually works well
Windows 11 is... to be sincere, compared to Windows 10, unstable. It looks better, but every single update fucks it harder and harder, and Microsooft doesn't try to FIX it, instead they keep pushing updates that adds more and more bloat such as AI support, making the whole system slower unless you buy a fucking new chip. Just as a comparative: I used Windows 10 for 10 years. Literally. I had to clean install it four times. The reason is that the system got worse with time, but it took two to three years for that to happen. I use windows 11 for FOUR MONTHS. The system is already breaking down, slowing dow n for n reason, explorer crashing or just being super slow to open new tabs, the "hide taskbar" sometimes don't show it no matter how much you try unless you press the Windows Key because for some reason some windows maximize on TOP of it so it never shows, it's a huge mess. In four months, I already thought of clean installing it, twice. It looks better yes, but it feels like we're taking 10 steps backwards. IT's less intuitive, most of important features are wildly hidden now and harder to find, the explorer is buggy and sometimes I can't even change the sound output because it won't open it in the taskbar. Microsoft made the Taskbar, Desktop, and other things a ONE thing, so if one of them stop working none of them works anymore.
I can agree with some parts of the video, but I also have some arguments: 5:00 It's because not every user needs to use a registry, gpedit, or control panel. It's made for more advanced users, and adding it to the settings app would confuse a lot of people. 6:00 This change is revoked on insider build, and volume mixer is redesigned to fit windows' 11 aesthetic. 7:07 I never noticed something missing. You can do most things from right-click. 8:13 You can access the most useful options from the normal menu because programs now appear on it, and you can use the old menu if you want to do something specific. I don't see any problem with it. 11:50 You forgot 8.1. It was good improvment to 8, just like Windows 11 is good improvement to Windows 10. 12:40 I love that decision. Computer in my school were potatoes and now we got computers with latest gen processors. You can also always bypass that. The main problem with Windows 11 was the fact that it got leaked, and microsoft had to finish it before they wanted. That's why we got buggy and unstable products at release. Medias took advantage of it and made Windows 11 look like a disaster even though it isn't that bad. I used a lot of operating systems: - Windows XP - Windows 7 - Windows 10 - Windows 11 - Arch linux (Hyprland and Plasma) - Ubuntu - HoloISO - ZorinOS - PrimeOS - CuteFishOS - Debian - Manjaro - MacOS Windows 11, Windows 7, Debian, and Arch Linux are probably my favorites. Windows 11 is a huge improvement, and it saved me from Windows 10. It recovered from a lot of issues and added functionality that made me keep using Windows after disaster that Windows 10 was. The biggest problem with Windows 11 is probably its telemetry. That's why I think that Windows isn't for everyone. I think that we should promote Linux-based operating systems more because they evolved. Most of my friends and Windows community just see Linux as Ubuntu, and I think it is a big mistake. I don't like Ubuntu, and there are better Linux distros like Arch linux, Debian, PopOS, and more. Anyways, nice video, but it could be done better.
Windows 11 sounds much improved, but I will avoid returning to Windows 11 at any cost. I have a system that is able to run Windows 11 in it's sleep, in fact it came installed with Windows 11 Pro as requested. Having installed but one program, I immediately uninstalled Windows 11 and returned to Windows 10 Pro which as previously worked flawlessly. As I backup my system drive, I again tried Windows Pro about 12 months ago and after playing around with it, again returned to Windows 10 Pro as Windows 11 was still incapable of working as required when recording audio. It continues to add an ultra low level noise to audio recordings. Something which Windows 10 does not. Plus, I don't like the inconvenience of having to dig ever deeper to make advanced changes, along with those that are no longer available to make. I don't like MS playing Nurse Maid. Windows 11 is so filled with bloatware of which if there was even something I'd even consider using, I would purchase the real deal and not use a Microsoft lookalike. And of cause, Windows 11 is put together in such a way that it follows absolutely no logic or even follows after Windows 10 in layout. As with 10, the Taskbar is still an interfering nightmare that you have to tolorate, because it won't remain hidden when you want it to be. Windows 11 might well have become more stable then at first, but compared with the stability of Windows 10, it's still learning to walk. They only instability with Windows 10 in my experience is caused by a Microsoft Update that is unstable. One of which Microsoft refuse to fix quickly and the only fix is to keep uninstalling it until they do. Something they appear to do more regular as the deadline for Windows 10 approaches. Nothing like a good boot in Microdot's direction. And of cause all this is leading to the next stage, where Microsoft force you to upload your data unto the web and they then charge you for access. A legal version of data blackmail. And the real reason behind TMP 2.0 is not for your own security, but that of Microsoft's. Their intention is to access and use your computer to create one super computer. TMP is essentially there to ensure that your computer is safe for them to hijack. Presently, they cannot do this with 10. And please, tell me what is so good about Pass Keys, I find them even more open to breaking than passwords. Even more so by those used on Microsoft Computers. Where I have to, I create one so I can sign in and then replace them with a password. Windows 11 is Microsoft's first attempt to gain deeper access to your computer. Spyware is no longer enough. I will resist Windows 11 at all costs. Windows 12, will be a much improved system, but with Microsoft seeking ever greater control.
Can you instruct me on which external hard drive to purchase to connect to my Windows 10 laptop the external hard drive is to install Windows 11 on it and use on laptop... Hope explain positively...
I may just try Linux. I never needed to get an account and in a sense ask Microsoft for permission to use my own computer!! This is terrible! Did you want to customize Windows 11? Forget it! Microsoft seems to be going out of their way to make sure that can never happen! I realize Windows is closed source but we should still be able to customize it! They did not just break Windows, they shattered it!!
goup policy is a legacy software regedit also modern apps stores configurations in each manifest, json, xml file for configuration and bluescreen y never had such blue screen are related to bad hardware
I tried 11 with AtlasOS and tweaks to block the craps. Doesn't fix how horrible the OS is. System tray icons constantly getting rehidden and need to manually unhidden. Ancient Intel Graphics drivers keep installing itself over the newer version. Two different right click menus. Advance settings unnecessarily hidden even more than previous. This OS was created to waste your time.
Basically, yes, you are right. I even made a whole video about this ;) But W11 have some marginal changes. It’s like PC - you are improving it part by part.
It turned out that Windows 10 is going to get a partial support for passkeys technology.🫡

W11 is absolute rubbish with adverts. They have Apple envy! Gone to Linux.
What distro are you using?
Just stay on windows 10
LoL Linux is a cluster fuck
Not drag and drop on taskbar is one of the most stupidest things that MS came of out

If you use it in conjunction with Everything, it's even better! You can also use FOSS alternative, which is Flow Launcher

If that was the case I would datamine them. All keys and certs are stored at regkey under randomizede class. configuration is not session cert.
In year 2024 windows 11 still looks like some bad fork of KDE Plasma.
Windows 10 = Windows XP
Windows 11 = Windows Vista
Windows 12 = Windows 7
Nah bro even Vista is better, actually runs well on my modern computer

i dont see it. is it the Windows Secret video
I installed windows 7 4 days ago

Based also Windows Server 2019, Windows IoT 2019 and Enterprise 2019
Crashes in almost every game? This was nevver the case with Windows 11. Your claimes are not real.
My Windows 10 is completely Modified And i still have zero issues. Windows 11 is nothing but bloatware and spyware.
I was going to use modded W11 for my new pc... but... after seeing this I think I'm going back to Linux
What Linux distro are you using? Just curious for possible feature videos.
@@poweruser.official Linux Mint or something Fedora based like Nobara
