I worked for a snack vendor with a contract at one of the six flags parks.... the amount of people who would eat 3/4 of the big ass popcorn bags we made and would come back like "it's stale, we want a replacement" was ridiculous! If most of the bag was full, absolutely we will replace it! But a lot of the times, we denied replacements when over half the bag was eaten lol. Now sometimes, people would drop their bag and a bunch would fall onto the ground or something and many times even if we didn't see the mess we would just take their word for it and replace it because it's a better story than "we ate most of the bag and didn't like it so give us another one" lmao

I was the supervisor and I was like "trust me, you don't want him coming out here ESPECIALLY for this." I'm kind even to the jerks... its hot in south Texas, everyone is tired, kids are a pain, so okay.... maybe it's an off day. So I'm wayyyyy better to speak to than my manager was who would get rude, snarky, and over it lol I would also but only if a guest took it there. My manager would come out that way if you even managed to get him out because he was always all over the park helping to get lines done faster.... he didn't have time to deal with Karens and their empty popcorn bags lmao

Exactly, see I make absolutely sure I try my best to be nice to employees in these places, but I know for myself they put up with more than enough, they try their best to be cool to me and others even though it's not easy at all. Their job sucks, and I honestly don't expect anyone their to be nice or care really because I get what they put up with.
It’s not just people in the fast food industry. I work as a barber and I’ve dealt with people who are just like her. I’ve had guys try to short change me on paying full service for a haircut and a shave and then there are people who try to say the haircut doesn’t look good and try to get a free cut even though everyone else including the manager say the haircut looks the same
I'm sure she gets spit in her food to the point that if nobody spits in it, she feels crummy.
I use to work at McDonald's and actually this is the easiest part of the job 🙃. I was 16 when I worked at McDonald's and I would rather deal with that than what actually was happening which was the older employees trying to touch and groom minors. I'm not talking about this McDonald's it was a different one

Easiest way to deal with people like her is to simply refuse service and trespass them. People always forget that little sentence that all businesses have access to.
Management reserves the right to refuse service at any time, for any reason. Goes for fast food joints, airlines, theme parks, etc. Even Walmart. lol
I love the manager in the part about the iced coffee. She was cordial and smiled the entire time, and that’s the best way to deal with people like her. No fanfare to help her get more attention!

What is peoples problem with always wanting to harass fast food employees like seriously what is wrong with them.
She's a cluster B personality disordered woman for sure. they create problems and drama out of nothing, and then blame the victims for the abuse they caused themselves. It's pathethic. (I work in retail and I sometimes encounter these types of awful people. It's mental illness).
EVERYTHING! Everything is wrong with them. That's one major reason why there's a labor shortage in food services: dealing with looney tunes like this isn't worth it, esp. for the pay.
A regular and sane client will ask nicely and if they're wronged and the employees are rude, they'll contact corporate who will give them a refund. Most companies have a department for complaints. I did that once when a manager got rude with me for no reason and lashed out at her employees in front of everyone, I was disgusted. I mentioned in my complaint that she was verbally abusing her employees in front of me, I know that as an employee you're powerless against a manager like that. Last time I went there the employees were more relaxed, I think they might have switched her to another job or fired her.
They view them as easy targets. That is literally it. Nothing deeper.

Two of my kids worked at McDonald's back in the 90's.
They would tell me of people who would eat half or even more of a sandwich and bring it up to the counter and claim something was wrong with it....Just a scam to get a sandwich and a half for the price of one.

Its also slander (civil act) and attempt to defraud, (a criminal act). They can have her arrested and press charges for attempt to defraud, harassment and trespass.

Her phony politeness after she gets a refund for a coffee that she already drank is so cringe because of how phony it is. She wants someone to sue! I worked at a Taco Bell drive-thru about 20 years ago, and every once in a while there'd be some douche-canoe who'd say something like "You guys messed up my order last time.... so now I don't trust you."

But I guarantee you that the entire Taco Bell building isn't going to drive off after you give us the money. That makes no sense. Giving us the money first is a very safe bet, because we aren't going to drive the entire building off of its foundation and down the street to avoid giving you 34¢ of product.

I can't imagine risking going behind bars for trying to steal a burger and a few dollars, if you're driving a car doing this you can afford the burger. These types either ate the burger or never bought it in the first place, this is bum behavior. When you work customer service you get warned about these people and you get told to call the cops if they show up. I had one idiot who dressed up like a construction worker asking me to let him borrow 20$ "for parking" from the cash register and got an attitude, I called security. That was an ongoing scam and some employees fell for it, that ain't my money to lend. Always put the change next to the money they give you before putting it in the cash register, I had one client yell at me that money was missing and I held up the money he gave me to shut him down, he started laughing and did a 180. You need to be confident and raise your voice a little otherwise they will try to yell and bully you into doubting yourself. People will really try anything.

Has anyone ever got a hot burger from McDonald's? I haven't. That's why I haven't been to McDonald's in years. I did ask for a replacement at a Wendy's once. I ordered a single with everything. It came with everything but not the burger. They made me a burger with a burger in it and apologized repeatedly. They gave me free fries too.

A number of years ago, I was in the drive-thru line at Captain Ds on Gordon Highway in Augusta, GA. I could hear the 'customer' in the vehicle in front of me asking about the price for the different sides for whatever meal she was ordering, even though the price was the same regardless of which sides were selected. When I FINALLY got to the window to receive my order, the cashier spoke about how exasperated she was dealing with that IMBECILE.
