She thought that giving everything back would somehow magically keep her out of jail. How can you be that dumb? Just because you returned the stolen items doesn’t mean you aren’t a thief anymore.
Oh she's definitely involved , I watched the entire video, unfortunately! The Mom changes her story from not ever seeing a package at all that day to " oh, I did take a package off of the porch I thought it was something my daughter ordered and I threw it to her whenever she came home" The mom admitted to being the one who brought it in the house from the porch. She was just as guilty as her daughter. This back and forth with the police threatening To arrest her if she didn't return it , then she would go look or send her Mom to look , went on for 35 min. The police gave her so many chances to return it because She's on parole/ probation? I don't know what the difference is but if she gets in trouble at all she goes back to prison automatically for 5 years
IKR!!! I was shocked she wasn't! The cop specifically said ” There was no package delivery here today, y'all didn't receive anything, and nobody saw a package on the porch?" To which she lied over and over , isn't that an arrestable offense? Obstructing Justice or hindering an investigation, charged with an accessory? . That girl was going back to prison too!
I think the best part was the fact that, even as she was being arrested, she still tried to lie her way out. Trying to act like she didn’t know she was wearing the underwear while asking if they were specifically looking for a pink pair of underwear. I don’t know what’s worse, both of their inability to lie, or the pathetic way, they kept trying to lie their way out of it.
You forgot to mention the part where she says she’s wearing them but her mother gave them to her. You didn’t point out the absurdity of the final lie. How could your mother have given them to you if they’re the women’s and you need to give them back and you know it. But she expects everyone to cling to illogical explanations just to allow her to stay out of jail.
“Let me go check my drawer.” So she was gonna go inside, take off the dirty pink underwear and come outside with them saying, “Found ‘em. They must have fallen out of the bag into my underwear drawer.”
The victimhood olympics from these last few years has everyone and their mama trying to avoid accountability these days. In this case it’s literally this woman and her mama 😂
I had neighbors like those two and they looked and sounded just like them! Their attitude was the same, they always did nothing wrong and it was everyone else's fault they they stole, or did drugs, or didn't pay their rent for eight months, etc. Thankfully they moved and took all their drama and lengthy criminal records with them. Last I heard the mom was arrested at a house that was raided because the guy who owned it was making and selling meth. The daughter recently finished her sixth attempt at rehab.
