Finally the Quest for motorcycle lighting is complete. I just ordered some for my CB500X I'll be mounting a set of them on my crash bars using the same brackets. You probably saved me $600 😊 Thank You very much.
great video, i ordered a set I was hesitant on installing the auxiliary lights but after watching your video, I’m gonna tackle this myself. Thanks for the video again.
I used some Auxbeam backup lights on my 2015 Tacoma in the steel bumper I put on it. They lasted 5 years and did a great job. The only gripe I ever had, if you can call it a gripe, was the paint did fade after a year. Turned into a whiteish film that would come off if I used some rubbing compound on them. But the lenses stayed clear and the lights never failed. So I call it a win!
Ive been running lights for over a year on the lower crash bar and no pitting in the lenses. They occasionally get a few drops of mud on them. Not many situations where your front wheel is turned far enough at speed to send anything into the lights. I highly recommend getting an eastern beaver 8 slot plug and play fux block. It fits under the pillion seat and has 2 non switched and 6 switched cicuits
MP, why didn't you just use the FuzeBlock to wire up your lights? Curious. I have the 3" round Auxbeam and a FuzeBlock. My lights are only 60w each, so that converts to 5a. Going with the switched side of the block w/a 10a fuse.
How did your setup last? Any problem? Rust on the bracket? I am seriously looking at doing the same. Or Go the Baja Design that is way more expensive. Great video
OMG! This is amazing! Exactly what I need. I live in southamerica and potholes are deadly and freaking everywhere in the city. So I would need to use this daily. Could you please tell me if it is ok to use at night in city riding? Or would it blind on coming traffic?
Thanks for this video! Can you tell me the manufacturer of your crash bars (the ones your lights are attached to)? I want a set like this that goes around the entire front of the bike for my Honda CRF300L Rally so I can have a similar light setup. Thanks sir.
I like what I'm seeing here! The top brands are ridiculously expensive... The only thing I don't really like is de switch, looks like something for a car, but not for a motorcycle. Going to check them out for my HD Pan America! So thanks for your review!
Still loving them so far. So friggin bright. Cars jump out of my way now. The switches aren't so bad. Need the MODE button to change from solid to flashing otherwise I'd wire them into an auxiliary connector
A MOTO PILOT Question.. When you're showing the brightness of the pair of pods is your bikes Head lights on low or high beam ???? In your video it appears as if your bike Battery is all but DEAD hahaha. As A Pro Photographer I do realize its the exposure settings that is causing this BUT this ALSO means the Pod Lights are even BRIGHTER than your video reveals which in my view is AWESOME!!!! .... What I really like about these lights are the strobe settings... Ive seen bikes approach me with this strobe feature and they truly POP... Thats exactly what I want on my AT.... Thanks for the Video.......
I bought this ones after watching your video for my NC750X, only concern I have is the switch , it's not water proof. How is this holding for you? Did you do anything in order to protect switch from water/rain? Didn't mount them yet though.
I've ridden in some rain and switches have been fine. But one switch did act up briefly and then went back to normal. Not 100% sure it was due to water. Enjoy.
quick question. How did you wire those? I just bought them, but I don't know how to wire them in a way that they're only on when the ignition is on. Any input you can offer would be helpful. Thanks.
Brother i've been watching your channel for years :) i am nearly 60 now if you dont see me around anymore it only means i have passed away. While i am alive i am going to continue loving your channel.
Hey, I was wondering if you’ve thought about adding a dimmer switch and if this is possible? It’s tricky with LEDs because they need full wattage but that’s my only reason for not getting these. I’d like to dim for normal riding. Denali is going to cost like like $600 😮
I'm looking to buy these but it looks like the top left lamp had some condensation ? At about the 10.06 mark where you are commenting about them being waterproof.Good video by the way....I'm enjoying your channel
Hey Fella nice shot American company? So looks very easy to install just connect to battery route cables, place switches and lights done? No Harvard needed?

I’m going with these fog lights and going to wire into the high beam switch! Thank you
I REALLY like those amber lights for visibility. I suppose all 4 lights can run off the stock battery?
Awesome ! I was looking at these for my 2016 Africa Twin this weekend ! Thanks !
Do it. Big difference

They are made for night riding. Just put them pointing down slightly so they aren't blinding to oncoming drivers.
How are they holding up? I think I will be ordering a set.
Nice review! Are the lights connected to the ignition?
Thank you..... I appreciate your efforts man..keep it up 👍🏻💯👌🏻🇸🇦

Thanks for including the round pods and discount in the description! Have you tried the round ones, by chance?
I haven't. Good stuff tho
great video. thanks for the demonstration rather than a sales pitch!
Those are really nice lights, and a great value. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah they are impressive

The bike lights are on low beam. I'd say the go pro isn't doing any of the lighting justice. Everything is a bit brighter in real life. MP

Hello, is it possible to connect those four fork lights on one command?
The strob of those lights are awesome

Hi!! Any updates after 1 year? Thank you great demonstration!
Still working great. No water ingress or lens fading. Look and work like new

Here we are months later and no condensation. All good.
That's great then I will certainly buy them.I made the comment because that's how it appeared as I watched the video@@MOTOPILOT6
Does switch is waterproof?
where did you connect the relay bit? If the key is switched off, they do not drain power?
Could you mount the light on the forks if you wanted to?
Hey Fella nice shot

I'm terrible with electrical and figured it out pretty easily. Worth any effort. So much brighter and visible to drivers.
@@MOTOPILOT6 cheers pal
I take it these arent steet legal?
Do the square ones come with a mount other than a bar mount?
Tolong bahas juga motor Adventure dong bang 🙏🏻
how would i install these lights on my 2023 hayabusa gen 3?
Just wire them onto your battery. run the wires under the tank. Google any HOW TO on how to lift the tank
@@MOTOPILOT6 ahh thanks bro
Since these are directly connected to battery, isn't it possible to switch it ON without keys by someone in parking?
Yes sir
@@MOTOPILOT6 what solution you made for this prob
Comparison on lighting is huge.
Sometimes less is more ...m
Yup. Case closed
Thsoe flashing white lights could be illegal to use, the cops might come after us.
True. I havent run them. In CA red and blue lights in front are illegal.
@@MOTOPILOT6 i think even flashing white lights will attract some corrupt violent tyrant cops to come after you.
Is the switch waterproof?
