Buy the cheap ones, use clear silicone around the bulb and vent and you are golden. If one falls off on the trail you can buy a whole new set and still be way under the price of the other ones.
My "$45 lights" came with a fused harness including relay, solid looking handlebar switch, flexible pvc tubing, waterproof connectors, zip ties... (I'm using a Healtech Thunderbox too, so in terms of safety that should be good)
Good review. Do produce more for this series guys. For me, I've been using MotoWolf lights and they've survived the heavy rains the past few months without water intrusion. Affordable as well, so may be worth a look for those shopping around for a set.
3 years ago I bought cheap light and they stopped to work after 4/5month (winter+summer season) Sad to say… I would have like to watch these video before I bought it lol Thanks for the video Funny and very usefull Please continue that way
Gr8 vid, tri333ple. The cheap lights still continued to perform after the same abuses as the danelli. The cheap lights also has amber, for me, I'll be happy to take the risk if it'll save me close to $300. Anyway, ride safe, god bless u all.
If there is a $300 difference and all ya getting is the flash wire harness, I'd say that's poor value 😮 of course there is the longevity test, how long will they last and continue to work correctly 😊
You can also buy harness separately. I installed Hjg 40 W fog light, there was no harness with it. I had to buy HJG harness separately. No issues there. Total setup cost less than 60 dollars😅
The expensive one of cos is good to have la. But honestly I think the shenzhen ones are good enough. I blast them with bosch pressure washer sometimes also bo taiji. But mine not as ugly as Amos ones la. Lol. Installation here damn cheap so have harness or not and all that not really a concern. So in the end can save alot. Thanks for the comparison brothers.
One of the biggest things you pay for with expensive lights is the efficiency and light output of the emitter the brand name of the emitter and how well it's put together but not design cheap flights are designed as well
Even on my clearwater Dixi water entered on one pod, and it stopped working. All I done is riding through rain and washing my motorcyle, never do a dip test ;)
I had two pairs of high dollar LED Aux lights on my current main bike. One a pair D7's and another pair of Erica's. Both set had to have silicone around the lens to prevent water intrusion. Water intrusion ruined one of each brand so one brand is not any better than the other. I purchased a way cheaper pair (Sub $100) and mounted them as my high set and installed (though slightly mismatched) the two good high dollar one's as my low set mainly because the lenses are no longer clear and I no longer care if they get destroyed by inadvertently hitting something in the road. So far no problems with the cheap ones. My other three bikes have cheap (Sub $100) LED Aux lights and they work flawlessly. I tried two of the really cheap (Closer to $10) pair and I would say not to get them as they were not very durable nor waterproof.
Interesting comparison, thank you. If anything, the cheaper ones throw out more light. I don't see any reason to buy the ridiculously expensive ones haha. Hopefully I never have my bike underwater for 1 minute oof
Should compare the beam pattern & measure the brightness. A bright beam of light is useless if it's all over the place. But I still enjoy the video. 👍✌
13:45 BRO, I want my light scattered because the biggest problem of modern Lights is that while they are very bright they dont scatter the light enough to see when the bike is leaning over. Everythings fine in a straight line without aux lights anyway. Problems arise when you turn ...
I bought both expensive and cheap ones several times and they both leak it is necessary to use silicone to seal both type especially where the wire goes into the unit so buy cheap or I recommend medium quality lights but always water seal it
Do a follow up to lighting, why LED bulbs are bad in halogen housings. And why fog lights can blind ppl and how to aim lights. Maybe compare cheapo China horns and branded horns.
I bought a £70 set from aliexpress, came with a fully built harness, power button, fuse, i have used it in all weather conditions, heavy showers and 1.5 yeras later, still going strong and it has yellow and white function. I would not buy the very expensive Denali's.
Denali lights should be around $100 to $150. Who did buy them for $370 that they are DUMB because they bought only famous name. Denali made customer looks like RICHER. They can afford.
just add it onto your bike (or car), ride it for a few months (not connected) and then do a review. We will see how it works after being in elements for a while.
Spend "a bit more" for a harness? Bahahaha Even after all materials and time, the denali is still 250$ overpriced. Thats including a switched fuse block that powers on/off with ignition.
Agreed that's a huge difference OK if you are paying for much higher quality in the led chips and electric components, but still as the old question goes "is it £250 better"
Well, you never asked? So now if you had asked anyone else and I mean anyone because this might not read to good about those lights. IMHO, the cheap lights were just as bright if not brighter. And hardly any variation in hue from my p.o.v! People that don't know any better shouldn't buy stuff from Yt! Especially crap like this. Be warned.

How do u vent??
Totally agree.
These are the kinds of honest reviews we need. Awesome.
Thanks for your kind comment buddy. You keep us going!
I had a pair of cree u5 lights from AliExpress. Installed them. Rode them all seasons for 5 years and still working fine. Cost about 30aud!

Good review! Liked how the review was presented, not boring. Specially the bromance between you two! Haha!
Thanks man! 🙆♂️ we really appreciate the comments! Keep it coming!

Which one did you get? :)
Thunderbox is brilliant, I'm using one with a Garmin, been absolutely perfect
@@tri333ple it says L4Z SG20 on it 😅, directly from China (taobao)
@@20cent do you have a link still?
Can you provide the web link so I can purchase this product?

Thank you for watching! We've seen a few motowolf products around and people have been saying good things. We will try them out sometime

Thanks buddy we really appreciate these comments. Motivation for the team! More to come!! Ride safe!!
I would like to suggest reviewing mesh riding jackets for Singapore hot weather or comparing the various rain gears available in the market.
One of your wishes might really be coming true 🤭👌 stay tuned!
REVVIT has an awesome mesh jacket, which I have $336.00 and well worth every penny

I am using 4 cheap lights named shilan g 15 which i bought for 30 dollar all and they are working amazing on my car

Thank you for watching! We planned to measure but it started to pour heavily and we had to stop shooting. 😩😩

Rifle Range Road is it? BTW nice comparison vid!
hahaha shhhh
Probably both are produced by the same Chinese company... But anyone can pay hundreds of dollars more just to have a brand carved on the housing...
Hi guys, great video. However... what brand & type is the cheap light? Not a great video to watch when you can't purchase the 'cheap light'.
I bought both expensive and cheap ones several times and they both leak it is necessary to use silicone to seal both type especially where the wire goes into the unit so buy cheap or I recommend medium quality lights but always water seal it
I just realised my lights didn't come with the harness. What sized wire did you use for the diy harness? And what's the minimum I can get away with?
Harbor Freight
@@AzTurboMini this video, and I are based in a country where HarbourFreight doesnt exist.
What the brand of the cheap light
where did you get a pair of s4 for 370? I cant find any under 500 in sg
Got OEM fog lights on my AT and it works well.
guys, can do test on ZEDGE Z60 60W HyperBeam FogLight ? TIA
I think a comparative test would be to spend the same amount of money on both expensive and cheap lights set one light versus 10 lights
Are these lights so bright that on the road you cannot turn them on if there is any traffic in the area?
What are the cheap lights brands
Awesome content. Difference between RON 92, 95 & 98 petrol. Maybe when the prices are down. Now isn't a good time for petrol test... lol
You are right 😄😄 bad time to test petrol 😭😭
Do a follow up to lighting, why LED bulbs are bad in halogen housings. And why fog lights can blind ppl and how to aim lights.
Maybe compare cheapo China horns and branded horns.
Horns are a good one! 🤭🤭
Where can I find those cheap lights in the US?
Cheap lights are the way to go. Just replace after every long ride and it will still be cheaper.
Where did you guys bought the S4 from?
Hey buddy we heard regina specialties has them. Or look up carousell and see if you can find them
Perhaps usb charging ports for a review? Esp during vibrations and water test.
We will add them to the future to the test !!! Stay tuned we hope you subscribe and share the video it will help us! 😄👌
hi sir, any video for Denali D7 vs cheap equivalent? thanks.
yeah. i don't like the color temp of cheap light, its kind of cheat because 6500k looks brighter. but $370 its way too overpriced
I will buy the cheap ones any day
I put the cheaper one from ali express on my scooter
Worth it
Can share location of dark place on Google map? Thanks!

I can make harness with a lot better wire, relay and switch with 10 buck. Neither I will be installing it on submarines. So cheap lights works for me.
👍
Generally, in life you get what you pay for. I'll go with the Denali.
Entonces vale la pena comprar los faros de 45e ??
Claro
I get funny looks, but I got candles! Cost of living crisis and all that😎

Theres no brand on the cheap lights my friend 🤣🤣🤣 we wished it was a paid ad 🤣
