Shame it has so little fan and lighting ports, and ram slots it looks gorgeous if otherwise. I probably need an ATX mobo for my Hyte y60 case but I hate how all the ones companies sell are colourless and solid black.
The one feature that the ASUS board has that this doesn't is M.2 Gen5. This has only M.2 Gen4. Depends on your use if that matters or not. Otherwise, I like this board better...
Sorry, I don't understand the question. Are you asking if Thunderbolt uses the same signal as DisplayPort digital display interface to connect to displays (computer monitors)? If so, then yes it does.
These people didn't understand you but to answer you question here it is: Nope the TB ports will only display video output from CPU igpu, no DDI switch or what you call a "display port in" port, for which the TB port will passthrough video signal from PCIE GPU This is what I found from asrock's manual: - Only the CPU's embedded graphics can be displayed through Thunderbolt ports. If you want to display to a Thunderbolt monitor, please use CPU models with embedded graphics. I own a z590i vision D so that is why I am familiar with this
@Belldandy to piggyback, I have the same Z590i, but this generation doesn't have an equivalent Vision/Aero - but it looks like the MSI Z790 Ace and Z690i Unify have that same DP pass-thru feature. Unfortunate they started making these kinds of boards less common.
@@belldandy3566 you knew lol. Thanks for the info, I was first looking at the 590I vision D a few years ago but don't want to go that old for a new build
I haven't decided on a 7800x3d or 13700k but if I go intel I'm definitely getting this board

Could you please do review or unboxing of b650e Riptide asrock. B650 E
I don't have access to that one. Unfortunately.
Made in Vietnam. Nice
Vs msi meg z690i .?
Do you know if the display port is an input for adding display signal to the thunderbolt ports?

Ofc it does, any thunder bolt will work as power or to display
