Recently brought the same MSI Thin laptop..but AMD version.. I'd say it is my 1st ever gaming laptop i own with my budget..yes and despite it is low powered version gaming laptop..it performed quiet well in most of the games i played..and perfect enough for some emulations..slapped it with laptop stand cooler and i can gaming without worrying much about the heat..

Thank you! 👍🏼 I'm definitely interested in seeing how this one performs because I _almost_ purchased one for my most recent build this past Summer. I opted for the RX 6950 XT though because it was roughly the same price and it's a slightly better performer in the comparison videos I've watched. (I'm particularly interested in this Gigabyte model because I still may purchase an RX 7800 XT at some point, and Gigabyte's GPUs are normally the least expensive across pretty much all models/SKUs. 🤔)

I cant even Play anything with the GPU, im only getting around 10 fps even in WoW Classic without the high resolution pack, tried everything but i cant seem to find the gpu even in bios

the problem is the additional connectors for it is blocking the "GeForce RTX" name making it look worse on non-vertical mount

next time you should put something under the motherboard so it dosen´t get any damage

Think $300 for it not being X870E is a tad much considering last gen one is atm $240 and with X670E... probably best to add $50 more and get Asrock x870E Nova if you can manage to find any stock of it.

Hi, I have 2 gen4 nvme drives 1 is for the os and other is for games which slots do you recommend me put them into? I was thinking to use both gen5 but I'm not sure if certain slots will affect performance from the pcie gpu slot ect. Thanks

I love this board i bought it new, i love the lime green color accents and now pairing it with a 9800x3d with 128ddr5 6800 and a 7900xtx nitro this should last me a few years just for gaming. I also love the gen5 nvme cause now we can have speeds up to 14k read/write woohoo and 4 nvme's is the best option for any gamer. Plus this board is compatible for the asus nvme addon card as well. My current pc in my profile pic is the tomahawk 550 am4 with a 5950x and 128ddr4 i am just going to use this pc for purely 3d creations and slicing and of course i did buy the corsair 1000d case so now i have to build the beast themed case with the 9800x3d lmao. Brother I have the 16 GB version and I am playing VR games like VRChat and Horizon Worlds in 2000*2000 resolution in 80.frames. It cant be so bad when it runs VR in such a quality without DLSS.

I want to go with tomahawk b650, but i am not sure whether the late bootup time for msi has be solved or not. But asrock is much better in terms of the boot time. So i am considering pro rs b650.

I would add a mentioning PCI 5.0 direct to CPU as "REBAR on steroids". What it means for the "Gamer" is huge jump in INTEL combo Arrow Lake 285K + Battlemage making it true two silicon GPU configuration of 500-570W combined performance. On paper it looks like it might even beat 5080. 5080 $1200-1500 predicted + Ryzen 9 9950X $650 + X870/Ram $600 = $2450- 2750. Arrow Lake 285K $600 + Battlemage $500 + Z890 board/Ram $600 = $1700. Personally waiting for the Battlemage that I presume will launch the same time as Arrow Lake if not just after. It would make sense.
