9 years for 36k.. feel like it could be way higher with the time in.
Exactly
Yeah I'd say 36k would be suitable for the labor costs and dedication. Not just the necklace itself.
Just because you buy a dozen pearls a year doesn’t mean you invested a years worth of work.
@@bobsagetthelord6621 while I understand it may be easy to accommodate one pearl a month, speaking on the market value, I would still ask for more…
@@bobsagetthelord6621 yes but the amount of time that goes into something should usually go into the price anyway.
What I personally find interesting about pearls is that they're the only birthstone that isn't a rock, like you get a rock, you get a rock x10, you get an ossified mollusk cyst lmfao
Do people wear pearls these days I thought it was only the Queen and people from that era bother with those heavy things around their neck
Only 36k? Id say its worth atleast 50
She doesn't have name like Swarovski
@@Qim2609 those "pearls" are waay cheaper..
Lol
36k, even 50k, sorry but that’s definitely worth a lot more, way more!
Bruh make it 4x, 50k is way less
What makes Pearls beautiful is the patina after wear. The Pearl reacts off the oils in the skin and the more they're worn, the more beautiful the patina. Fake Pearls don't acquire a patina.
Real or fake, they all still look like plastic, I don't get it 🤷 The more uneven organic-looking shapes are much nicer IMO and there are ones in other colors (I've seen small red ones) that are much prettier and don't look like thrift store costume jewelry
Apart from. Jewellery... Are there any other uses of these pearls??
Apparently some companies grind them up and put them in facial cremes, I doubt that has any noteworthy effect though. And you certainly won't need these premium pearls for it
I’m not a fan of diamonds but I love wearing pearls 😍😍😍
It's flattering.. the BRF amongst many likes pearls bcs it complements almoat every skintone
I don't understand why people keep buying real pearls instead of fake pearls, other than it being a status symbol. Fake pearls look just as nice (or close to it) and no sea creatures had to die to make them. (There are of course ways to harvest real pearls without killing the mollusk, which is shown in the video, but most likely you're not going to be sure, when you buy pearls, which method was used to harvest them.)
Because fake pearls are often made of plastic, paints, fish scales, or glass. The manufacturing of fake pearls, the materials needed to make them, and the transportation of materials are bad for the environment.
Oysters can be farmed or wild caught and eaten
@@xchemicalXladybugx That's not "because". It might be your "because", but the majority of people don't consider the environment when considering what to buy. I'm positive that "safer for the environment" has little or nothing to do with why most people who buy real pearls choose to buy them rather fake ones.
@@AdeleiTeillana but still natural is better than those fake ones
Lol maybe buy the real one as an investment wear it time to time on special occasions but for the most part preserve them in a jewelry case and sell later simple, that's why you don't buy fakes because you should make money from your investment also buy other gems and precious metals, for the most part they gain value, at the least the retain value, and not lose value like fiat cash does through inflation
Woa! I thought pearls were worthless these days! Why oh why can't Google be the most awesome search machine it used to be?
9 years work and "only" selling for 36k?
Probably a few hours of work. 9 years to buy enough pearls. She probably has a buyer that gets all the pearls. She just tells them the prices and grades.
@@Mr.Mister001 Yeah, you are correct :) pearl necklaces aren't difficult to make by hand; it's the collecting part that's difficult. Also, this one necklace wasn't the only project she was working on. She probably did other small projects to fund her expenses in the time between
Anyone saying should be more than 36k would not buy it for 36k that explains something
36k is 550 Million rupiah, so yeah its enough for us..
Jesus!!! The pearl of great price!!!❤
Black Pearls are worth more but this is beautiful
People are insane...
You don't know the value and scale of these business and product. Better to learn or just shut it
Never saw the appeal of pearls. To each his own...
imagine dropping one of these (especially near carpet) and not being able to find it anywhere in a room…
This is why we hate the rich, imagine how much money is poured into something so pointless
Indeed, pearls are round, no points at all
@@xxportalxx. Things i see:
What you did there.
You can buy cheaper pearls that are natural and high quality. Lady is scamming the whites. Leave her be.
Imagine how much much time you pour writing RUclips comments. It's pointless but we do it anyway. Art is useless but we love it anyway. Humans are pointless, but we exist anyways.
why would you deprive these people the pay for their labour?
Interesting!
it is so ridiculous when it comes to jewellery and art just something to look at serves no inheritance purpose and idiots pay a fortune for them . got no respect for people that spend a fortune on a painting for example when they could change the world with the money it cost for that thing that you look at now and again
Beautiful 😍
Woman! You just lost 9 years of your life you can’t get back if you sell that for 36k, it’s definitely worth a hella more than 36k!
And how does something like this make anyone's life any better, healthier, or wiser?
Ok, brother, you've proven to everyone that you're morally superior! I and everyone else who just read your comment are blown away by your high intellect and fine-tuned moral compass!
@@johnnyjohnathon7381 Glad you see it my way.
It makes the poor third world country oyster farmer’s life better 🙃
@@RadenWA How much does the oyster farmer get per pearl?
@@Kenjiro5775 more than 0 so that's a good start
Ibiza Spain makes majorica pearls out of plastic that look just as nice.
pearls look so ugly imo and not worth the cost
You've never seen high quality pearls up close. Unless you just dislike all jewelry, all art and any ornamentation . Some people are that way. I have a strand of very good quality natural pearls that are gorgeous. They look nothing like the cheap junk you see in most shops.
@@renel7303i think they just think pearls don't look all that amazing. I'm like that as well. Honestly, pearls are more interesting on the scientific side than the ornamental side. How it builds up around dirt and how the process occurs and so on
Just like you are ☺️
Wow
sensei Tomitaro?, ha watshiwa bokuwa ichi ni
what does a pearl even do
They separate stupid people from their money
They enhance your appearance.
Humans are collectors. We do like some shiny rocks or arts. However, I know my skincare product has a thing called pear powder, made from crushed pearls. Pearls are kind of a traditional medicine? I think for some sort digestive or heart problems. Especially when you combine it with other herbs, I think it's absorption power is most notable.
We tend to dismiss many as useless. But you just haven't found use in them. Another's trash, is another's treasure. Just like it's easy to dismiss art when one is not interested, but it can encourage and inspire someone to actions or whatever. Nourish their creativity, be a balm to their soul.
Anything in this world has a use to a mind that seek it. A mind that seeks, is a mind with purpose. Because if we don't believe so, then humans are truly a pointless existence, just as pointless as a rock that exist merely to just exist. Because if we don't believe we have a purpose, our lives are empty and meaningless.
Our purpose is anything that we choose, that we name. Things just exist without a name, till we name them. It's easy for us to give others such as the trees and clouds a purpose, by simply describing what they do and putting a name on it. Surely, we can name ourselves too. Give ourselves a purpose.
what do you do
It looks good when you wear it
