I actually really dislike divers. But the 58 was my grail for 3 years and I've had it for two months now and it's everything I knew it would be.
Perfect warmth. Perfect size and proportions. Underrated, classic, timeless. A bit sporty, a bit dressy. Perfect vintage looking skin diver. The one and only diver to complement the styles in my small-ish collection of dailys.

  • @FUNZO1975

Just got my BB58 after 4 years of considering it (and waiting for the market to stop up-charging it) and I'm very happy with this piece.
In a couple years give or take, when the prices for the Pelagos 39 mellow out I'd like to aquire that as well, however I wouldn't flip the 58' to get the Pelagos, I'd miss the vintage detals too much.
Especially the domed crystal and the bracelet. I thought that I might be changing out the bracelet once I got the 58' due to all of the negative reviews regarding the faux riveting but once I had it in the metal & and on my wrist, I think it was a perfect detail for Tudor to add to get a bit more vintage vibe going for the piece and I wouldn't want it any other way.
I'd recommend the Uncle Seiko half-link to best dial in the size you're looking to get being that there is no sliding T-clasp adjustment for the BB58 bracelet.
The lack of glide-lock or t- clasp is really the ONLY complaint I can make.
If you like vintage or vintage style, modern made watches, the BB58 is one of the best available, and with the newly released Pelagos 39 hitting the market, NOW is a great time to purchase your BB58 if that fits your watch style.
    Have a great day !!!🙂

      Got it from Chrono24.
Seller had it from new for just 7 months and was liquidating his collection to get his dream watch (Submariner).
It is in like new condition, full set, and I paid $3,255.
I bought it exactly one week before the Pelagos 39 dropped so I probably could have done better if I'd waited just a little bit longer but hey, who knew right?
Not sure how the new at the Tudor AD prices are doing right now, kinda depends on where you live but I'm pretty sure none of them are charging over retail and they seem to have the majority of the 58 line in stock these days so if you're going for a new piece, you might even be able to get yours for a bit under retail.
New or used, you'd be buying at the best time (while the Pelagos 39 is still hot) So good luck with the pricing and enjoy, it's a great watch!

I've got the bb s and g 41mm. on the bracelet. I have 7 and a half inch wrist, so the 58 is too small for me. I prefer the chunkier look and heft also. They moaned about the slab sided look of the 41mm , but to me it adds to the wrist presence. The two tone is just lovely because the gold is brushed, it just tones it down and stops it being flashy. it just gives it a warmth that elevates the overall look. love the two tone chronograph too, it's a lovely piece. the 58 is a great watch for the smaller wrists , and both the black and blue have their own merits too.

I don’t agree at all. The 58 is the sweet spot for a variety of wrist sizes. I had a BB41, and my wrist size is over seven inches, however, I sold it in favour of the 58, as it’s far more comfortable and less thick than either of the watches you’ve mentioned.

One watch is not a collection by definition Webster: A collection is a group of things, often a group created by someone. For example, many kids have a collection of comic books.
I’m can understand a one watch enthusiast. Not a one watch collection. Now to your point, if I were to own one watch, the BB58 could serve as that watch. My preference would be a Pepsi or Sprite GMT II, or a Lange Odysseus white gold. From my choices it’s obvious that I need a date.
