FXD for me. It’s so different from anything else that I own. It wears like my sea dweller 43, but lighter and slimmer. And most of my watches are on bracelets, so it’s nice to have something different. It’s a great everyday watch for the outdoorsy adventurous type of person. It’s my first tudor and absolutely love it.
PELICAN!!!!!! Well done for getting all three and well done for Hightower for lending the Pelican in! When I had this and my 58 up together it cemented the fact I can’t get on with titanium light watches! I need to feel some sort of heft on my wrist! I’ve got GShocks for lightweightedness! I think the P39 is the closest thing to Tudor sub what with the crown guards and bezel gripage! They won’t make a stainless steel version of it as that’s what separates it from the current Submariner. Unless it’s blue! But it’ll be blue in titanium guaranteed!!!!! Great colourful show loved it!
That is actually almost the decision I had a few months ago. It was a std 42m Pelagos, any BB58 and the Pelagos 39 wait list. I very much like the warmth and charm of the black/gilt BB58 but I got the Pelagos 39 late last year and it’s not left my wrist since - It’s very much more ‘me’ but I don’t think it’s possible to get it wrong in the Tudor 58/Pelagos/BB Pro lines. They’re all stunning.
Ahhh it’s a top tier choice!! Honestly. I think that would be my choice now. ^_^ in 2020 I think BB58 made sense. In 2023…. The P39 is a pretty freaking strong offering!
Great comparison. I love the lightness and sporty colour of the titanium. I adore my BB Ceramic and one of the big factors for me is having a light full sized watch. Tudor is doing a great job and so are you!
I have all three, all can coexist even though there are obvious similarities, the Lume on the FXD and PE39 are awesome. Can’t go wrong with any of them👍 good to see a side by side review 👌
I got my Pelagos 39 the other day I actually bought it blind as I had never seen it in the flesh. To say I am happy with my purchase is an understatement it is a stunner if you want one just get one you won't regret it.
In my opinion the BB 58 clasp is awesome because the size is modest compared to bracelets (tudor, rolex) with glidelock/t-fit and thus does not bash around. I do like the look of the rivets aswell.
I bought the 42mm Pelagos about 2 months ago. Every timeI look at it I am amazed at its beauty. My daily watch. I have a 7.5 inch wrist and the Black bay 58 did not look right on me so I need 41mm and over
I love my blue BB58! I don’t mind the fake rivets, but the clasp is effectively very long due to a lack of articulation & long scissor arms. I’ve got it on a Forstner “O” & it’s much more comfortable now!
I have alot of friends with bb58’s and I have the fxd. I had the bb58 black and the pelagos lhd and sold them both. I kept the fxd and it is a perfect middle point! Large face and super legible white on a beautiful navy blue dial (more interesting than black). The 12.75 -13mm thickness is amazing. I do miss having a watch with a bracelet though. Waiting for the p39 blue 👍🏼
Your hubby is always one step ahead of me! Waiting for my FXD to arrive in my local Ad. After seeing your beautiful shots of all three I think I'll have to add my interest for a 39. Those line-up shots of all three are priceless, very useful as a comparison. Great vid - keep it up, Britt!!
Good luck Dom…. Hope it comes in soon for you - full disclosure, I was waiting for one from my AD and this came up from a friend who needed to get some quick money together to get a dream watch that had come on for him, so it was a win win for both of us.
@@watchpapi You can't turn down such opportunities, good for you! I'm happy to wait for a while, my local AD has got me an Explorer and an Explorer II over the last two years, so I can't really complain too much. I'm down for the FXD (as mentioned), a Jubilee Pepsi and a Daytone - will probably be dead by the time the latter two become available lol!
The FXD is my favorite here. A combination I think of genuine military kudos, unusual bi-directional count-down timer bezel and those rad fixed spring bars. And it looked proportional enough on your husband’s 6.5” wrist. So would look more than fine on my 7” one 😁 the BB58 in its original black and gilt livery was my favorite dive watch for years too. Not so much anymore though. And this blue variant is the dullest of the range IMHO…sorry 😬 as for its bracelet, I’m not keen on it either. I would prefer the references that come on the leather or nylon straps.
Another excellent video. Well done. I let go of my BB58 Blue when I got my FXD 21 (2 blue dives watches seemed redundant.) And let go of my Rolex 14060, when I got the Pelagos 39. Haven't regretted it a bit. The FXD and P39 are, IMHO, the ultimate 2 watch collection- they complement each other because they're two very different watches: bracelet/strap, blue/black, 42/40mm. The only downside is trying to decide which one to wear in the morning ;) BTW, if anyone basing their decision on lume alone, the FXD wins hands down. The lume on the P39 is good too, but the FXD is practically a spotlight at night.
I spent all day Friday wearing my Tudor bb58 navy. I spent all day Saturday wearing my submariner 41mm. I spent all day today wearing my air king. Despite all being unique and special in their own way, the Tudor has won my heart. ❤
As already written below, you can’t go wrong with any of these. Bought my BB58 Black at Christmas and not stopped wearing it since. Totally agree with you on the GMT/Diver preference. Nice video.
I love your enthusiasm in what you do. It’s what brings me back to your videos. They are a joy to watch. I’ve been doing my research and was originally set on a black bay 58, I felt it fit my 7.5inch wrist best, but I was disappointed with the rivet bracelet and hard to grip aluminum bezel. The pelagos 39 seems to be the answer for me, with the only things that might steer me away is that I think the bb58 can be dressed up and be worn with a suit much easier than the pelagos. I also like the smaller clasp on the 58, but I really don’t know how bad the larger clasp on the pelagos will fit until I get both on my wrist and try them out. Thanks for videos, look forward to more and more in the future
I prefer the pelagos look, the square markers and blue color is where they are distinct from Rolex. I am positive Tudor will make a P39 in Blue, and that historically is THE color for a Tudor as well. The P39 will be the de facto Oyster Prince Submariner of modern times. Having said that, just loooove the FXD and its purpuseful look. I have large wrists and can pull off either watch. Trying to make up my mind, and decide what would fit the collection better. I am on a smaller watch phase, and my brain says P39, but the FXD has my heart.
My fave is the P39. And I have owned mine for nearly a month now (so slightly biased). I still cant get over how good it looks on the wrist! And the braclet design is *chefs kiss*. My one complaint which I'm not sure if everyone has is with the lume. For whatever reason the hands don't glow as bright as the hour markers or bezel. But I'm weirdly obsessed with lume on watches...
Omega was also the first watch company to produce watches to the US military in 1918. (World War 1) and I love these Tudor Pelagos’s but I’m not a huge titanium guy. I like to be able to feel my watch on my wrist. I love their looks tho.
Love your vids, Britt! The FXD. I love the MN version but have the black one. I previously owned both BB58s and a Submariner and sold each one because the polished cases, glossy dials, gold/metal surrounds were not toolish enough. I also love military (inspired) watches with fixed lugs like the Marathon Navigator and monobloc* cases like the plastic Timex Camper. I’m not a bracelet-type of guy - too much metal. The fact that the dial references the original Snowflake MN watches sold me on it. The dull finish of the titanium is exactly what I wanted - even better than bead-blasted steel. Despite all this, I love certain details on vintage Submariners and the bevels/chamfers** are really satisfying to see. *probably misused the word **the only thing I’ve ever read about the difference between beveling and chamfering left me even more confused so if you know, please explain it.
I owned the BB58 (OG) and bought a P39. I gave it 4 months but realised that the BB58 had barely been on the wrist in that time. Ultimately I couldn’t keep both and the BB58 was sold. I really miss it, but wouldn’t trade it for the P39.
Gringa!! Hans is so proud of you and his spirit shall bless you. Great video again. I totally understand that I seem to be in a minority in that I am much more a fan of 41mm over 39mm watches. The FXD is at the end of my current AD treasure hunt. And after any watch acquisition, my online shopping is focused on NATO straps for a few days. Long Live the Cult(s)!!
Hi I’m with you on the size thing. I would love a 925 Silver and a BB PRO if a size increase was offered on these models. I have a Pelagos 42m in blue and the size is great. I love that watch it’s my only Tudor but a favourite in my collection. 👍
My friend has the FXD and I've worn it quite a bit. Photos and video don't do that lumed bezel justice, it is actual fire. It is light weight and comfortable on my 6.2" wrist. I didn't buy it because the BB58 Blue is too similar and I wear it all the time. The Pelagos 39 in that black is different enough that it has a place in my collection and I'll probably add it sooner than later... but, you know, money. And Cartier is next on the acquisition list
Great video as always. I agree that the Pelagos 39 is the best of the bunch. Really enjoying mine. I let my BB58 go when I picked up the GO SeaQ 39.5. Too much overlap. But I did love the 58. If the come out with a different color, like a red bezel, I may pick another one up.
Britt, have a look at the Forstner Model O bracelet for your BB58, I’ve added one to my BB41, no rivets, more micro adjustments and a clever spring loaded link system , I’ve added one to my seamaster 300 I like it that much!
BB58 - especially in blue! Got to love the vintage looks. I understand how you might get bored after 3 years, but I am not there yet 😬🤌 Besides of the clasp and the faux rivets being a permanent discussion point I personally love the unique looks. It’s so cool to not just have another submariner clone. And the clasp is actually really good - it’s just missing the quick adjustment (which you probably don’t really need in 99% of the cases).
Excellent comparison video, Brit 👏 I recently turned down an offer to get the Pelagos 39 after seeing it, and I am sort of regretting it now after watching your video, lol.
@Britt Pearce I mean, after tax, the watch comes out to be about 5000 USD. That's a lot of money to put towards something you're not head over heels for. I will purchase if it comes out in a different color besides black.
That Pelagos FXD looks boss, I’ll have to seek one out to try on. Good, easy going review btw, enjoyed your take on these and that you don’t wrap around the axle on a dislike to drone through the entirety of an episode. And me thinks you may have come across some Gary Larson comics.

Completely agree with you, Gringa: I've always been a big Tudor fan _in theory_ with their high quality and value, but there's always something about their styling that didn't speak to me...until the Palagos 39. It's definitely on my short list for next year, especially if they introduce another color option or two and *especially* if they see fit to introduce a GMT version (although that would likely make it too thick for my tastes given their other GMT models). Having said that, this year's $$$ allocations have already been spent on the Bel Canto and Maen GMT preorders (and a random Glycine Costco Combat on sale because, why the hell not, right? 😁 )
I try to keep my collection small and in order to get a lot of variety don’t usually have multiple watches of the same brand. However I really really want to buy both the FXD and P39. Despite the similar dial layouts, I feel like they are different enough in their general feel that both could fit in a small collection. The FXD has its weirdly cool and cooly weird military design, and the P39 is just a perfect and I love how lightweight it would be on bracelet
Another great video this week, very good comparison of all three pieces. Of the three, I would definitely go Pelagos 39. Great size, titanium, top notch dial aesthetics - and a reasonable price to boot. While I have toyed with the idea of acquiring a Pelagos 39 as my first foray into the Tudor brand - I have doubts it could compete with the Seiko SBDC109, aka Captain Willard, as the top "tool" dive watch is my collection.
Salty is here!!! You know! I’ve had a few commenters say they aren’t fussed for a tudor as they are happy with their Seikos! I need to get hands on with more Seiko!
@@BrittPearceWatches Well, even if I didn't favor my Seiko Captain Willard; my love of all things Omega would probably lead me to pick up a white dial Seamaster 300m over a Tudor. Fun fact - just yesterday got the silver dial Omega Globemaster (2018) and highly recommend checking it out.

I have the BB 58 in blue and love it, but like you I now want the Pelagos 39. I have the BB 36 but will probably sell it if my AD calls with the opportunity to get the Pelagos 39.
Hello WG great video i love Tudor the choice is difficult cause i love Tudor cause this brand remember me the combat swimers of french navy. I choose the FXD love you
@@BrittPearceWatches choose between those models are hard. My father have worn a Tudor Submariner during his military time on french navy in 68 but not autorized to keep the watch cause the watch was a part of his personal package
I have the FXD and really love it. It is my first Tudor and when I got it, I thought it was just okay, and really the only Tudor that caught my attention at the time. I expected I would wear it a little bit and then I'd probably trade it. Well, the more I wore it, the more I loved it and next thing you know, it became the watch getting almost all the wrist time. I recently picked up a 925 for similar reasons.. both watches are just different enough and a little less "predictable." Tudor bracelets don't really do it for me... the Rolex bracelet is just so hard to beat. So for me Its strap or nato all the way with the Tudors.
I really do need to find a 39 to try on, but it's really cool. The red text is just chef's kiss. I would love to see a blue one. That might be a shut up and take my money release, assuming they executed it well. I really don't mind the rivets on the BB, but absolutely think it's a crime against humanity that they've not updated the rest of the BB line with the T-fit clasp.
For me Pelagos 39 would be the choice. IMO, the square markers balances out the snowflake hands better. That said Britt, I think adding black P39 to your blue BB58 would be a nice Tudor collection 😊
Kind of wish that Tudor would do a series of “Heritage” divers. Some vintage cues but with elegance. Something like : Matte dial White gold indices Satin brushed aluminum bezels in Burgundy, green, and blue. White gold hands with lollipop sec hand Three line script dial with red line Non riveted oyster and jubilee options with T clasp White gold colored inlay numbers on the bezel The two toned subs style would be Tudors nod to their past as well as a sort of Tudor version of the Starbucks (I know they have a Harrods special edition but that’s more of a hunter green) Maybe it could even be offered in a more sterile titanium cleaner “aprlogis” edition. These could be their higher end line of Tudor. Slightly better materials and finish with Meta and Cosc cert. also I’d love to see a titanium watch with blue dial and matte black bezel. The blue on blue is just not to my taste
LOL! I KNOOOOOOW I just changed it because I thought it felt too "You're Terrific". I think I've been watching too many of Evan's videos ;) Time to get back to some Bark and Jack and Jenni Elle!
When I saw the P39 came out I instantly knew it would just kill all the other Tudor diver lineups. I am so glad my BB58 is the gilt version with the vintage vibe that P39 can’t touch or I wouldve been tortured by the thoughts of selling the BB58 and getting the P39…
Great video! I love my BB58 Gilt along with my 5 digit sub. The P39 reminds me more of my 5-digit sub aesthetically and proportionately. You cannot go wrong with one of the three. For the FXD you can put on a metal bracelet. Just not in the traditional sense. There used to be some solid clip on bracelets just not sure you can find one in titanium.
I used to own a Pelagos 42, at the end of the day the Titanium ended up not working for me, it’s the matte color that made me stop wearing it, I bought a BB58 and couldn’t be happier, even the finishing I think it’s a little bit better and more refined. Cheers.
Great video as usual. For me, I'd love to see a blue version of the Pelagos 39 released this year. The dial colour is the only thing stopping me buying one.
Britt the Pelagos 39 could fit into a collection that also has a BB58, these two are different enough. The BB58 is more of a dressy diver with more polish and a box crystal and a very good one at that where the P39 is more of a modern tool watch with brushed case and flat crystal. Have them both if you can justify them. I'm more than happy with my BB58 (black and guilt) and the P39.
I’ve got a big birthday coming up this year and 99% planning on buying a Tag Monaco…. but… If I get to see a Pelagos IRL… you never know what might happen. :-)
one thing i've not noticed before is the 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 goings anti-clockwise rather than all other dive watches going clockwise....who knew! (me by the looks of it)
P39 followed by the FXD! I'm addicted to titanium! Also, thanks for getting your husband to wear the watches as well. I was surprised with how well the FXD fit him. Hmmm...
Nice video, Britt. Based on your comments, I'd suggest you buy a Tudor Ranger bracelet and fit it to your BB58. It fits perfectly and solves your two issues with the 58. Cheers!
FDX has the casual look with NATO strap. Black bay is more elegant with the thinner bezel and Pelagos is more rugged looking with thicker bezel. Depend on the individual persons style , I prefer the Pelagos out of the 3. Plus u get a rubber strap on top of the Titanium strap. 😂
I regret turning down the Pelagos 39, but then I have a BB, BB58 and Pelagos, so struggled to see the 39 fit. I found the 39 dial / glass didn't work at the time. Re straps, I've fitted Everest straps on my BB and it's brilliant.
@@BrittPearceWatches a bit too many tbh. I actually picked up the Ranger instead of the Pelagos 39 The original plan was to ditch two Tudor watches for the 39, but I wasn’t overwhelmed enough
Question: do you ever find yourself wearing a watch on a rest day at home? Do u have a selection or preferred watch for a relax day? I ask because I do. Sometimes the sounds soothing to anxiety and also makes me feel productive even when just being at home on a snowy day exercising or cooking
Interesting video. Putting the three watches next to each other was a really interesting exercise. They are all so similar. I would propose that the BlackBay line is the odd man out. Somewhat redundant vs. the new watches (ie Pelagos pieces) that Tudor has introduced. If Tudor did get rid of the Black Bay line (both heritage and 58), the Pelagos, new Ranger and soon to be changed 1926 / Glamour (?) line could fill the gap (from a product perspective).
Solid comparison here. The Pelagos 39mm is excellent and shows up as a Ti alternative to the Submariner for a lot less money. I’m a huge Omega fan, but have to admit the Pelagos 39 is a major threat to the Seamaster also. I think Omega needs to look at that and consider pricing decisions or release a Seamaster 200 or something to avoid Tudor drinking the milkshake.
Thanks for a great honest review 🙏 I have bb58925 is a wonderful piece from any angle of view but Tudors love bracelets I have to buy one 😉 I have pelly39 and LHD can say is absolutely different watches. LHD is a best tool watch diver, love the fakepatina and left crown, really my most lovely watch so heritage look and modern material 👌 pelly39 is a wonderful everyday diver they makes me didn’t wants Sub at all and they looks really bigger than bb58og- what I love, scratches - yes very easily but only first scratch bored me 😅😂 my FXDmn21 is truly best possible reborn of subMN this Watch absolutely gorgeous, best blue tone ever I saw, so wonderful piece but like LHD the FXD is my holidays and weekend watch, silver and pelly39 GADA watch for sure for me 👍😎
Well I found this video as I’m currently considering trading my black BB58 on a leather strap towards a Pelagos FXD MN. I absolutely love the FXD MN on the wrist. Everything I wish my Planet Ocean was. Especially the weight! I generally spend all my time in a Hamilton Khaki field on a £5 nato though. 😂
Great clip as always Britt. I’m debating whether to swap out my BB58 for the P39 or (since recently moaning about omega availability) the sea master green - which by the way is a stunner in real life. Annoyingly I haven’t seen the P39 in any ADs yet to try on
As a fellow BB58 blue owner… Noooooooo! Can’t believe you finally had a change of heart. 😭 I would still choose the BB58 tho. Maybe it’s the old man in me liking the vintage vibe of the aluminium bezel.

@@BrittPearceWatches I always enjoy hearing back from you Britt. I know you notice my comments because We Are Canadian lol that’s what I love about you
Hi Britt, The FXD (MN21 specifically) and P39 are in a completely different class to the BB58 IMO. The P39 is pretty much a P40, and even the head honcho of Tudor UK had to go and check it was actually Tudors first 21mm lug width when I asked him to confirm, so that's really the spec you need to be mentioning. Grade 5 Ti is never going to be found in a Tudor (Only Rolex) due to Hans Wilsdorfs reason for founding the brand (In London, England, like Rolex). The P39 is sooooo far from boring lol. Its the best release of 2022 ;) The Fake (lets call them what they are) rivets are why the bracelet has very little micro adjust and therefor does not fit a lot of people. Pelagos Steel is my prediction for W&W 2023 😈
I own a TUDOR GMT. Having said that, would love a “BB58Blue” in 41mm but not as tall as the existing BB 41mm. And would also love a GMT in 39mm… Does this make any sense?

I would prefer the references that come on the leather or nylon straps.
I have to say I love Tudor more and more and actually love all 3 to be honest! Thanks for the review
Right?! I cannot wait to see what Tudor brings us @ Watches and Wonders this year!
The FXD already has my money and I love it :) Its different and that's its appeal to me. All great watches, Keep up the good work
I prefer the pelagos look, the square markers and blue color is where they are distinct from Rolex.
Oh. We are all obsessed with lume on watches! 😅 this is teaaally good to know! You’re right! Sometjing about it on the wrist is just 😍😍😍.
You inspired me to wear my blue BB58 this week, thank you!
Awesome video Gringa!! I just picked up my Tudor Black Bay Pro on rubber last week after an 8 week wait.. I too am a big Tudor fan boy now 👍🏻👍🏻
What what whaaaat! Biggest congrats EVER on owning the BB Pro! What a watch!
*probably misused the word
**the only thing I’ve ever read about the difference between beveling and chamfering left me even more confused so if you know, please explain it.
I owned the BB58 (OG) and bought a P39. I gave it 4 months but realised that the BB58 had barely been on the wrist in that time. Ultimately I couldn’t keep both and the BB58 was sold. I really miss it, but wouldn’t trade it for the P39.
I've got the BB58 (in black) and the FXD... The P39 is also a beautiful thing
Ahhhh, the large wrist crew! ;) I wish I could rock a 41mm! It just looks dreadful on me ^_^
My friend has the FXD and I've worn it quite a bit.
This is all perfectly said! I have absolutely nothing to add here! 😂😂💕💕💕✨✨✨
Given the choice of the three, & having tried a Pelagos 39 here in Australia last year, I’d have to say, yes, yes & YES!🤤🤤🤤🤣😎👍🏼
Thank you, this video was very helpful in choosing between the three!
Britt, have a look at the Forstner Model O bracelet for your BB58, I’ve added one to my BB41, no rivets, more micro adjustments and a clever spring loaded link system , I’ve added one to my seamaster 300 I like it that much!
Ouuu I will look into this tonight!
Absolutely love this lineup. These are my favorite 3 Tudors aside from the GMT with Opaline dial.
BB58 - especially in blue! Got to love the vintage looks. I understand how you might get bored after 3 years, but I am not there yet 😬🤌
Besides of the clasp and the faux rivets being a permanent discussion point I personally love the unique looks. It’s so cool to not just have another submariner clone. And the clasp is actually really good - it’s just missing the quick adjustment (which you probably don’t really need in 99% of the cases).
Excellent comparison video, Brit 👏
I recently turned down an offer to get the Pelagos 39 after seeing it, and I am sort of regretting it now after watching your video, lol.
Whaaaat! Why did you turn it down?! :O I am sure it was the right choice!
@Britt Pearce I mean, after tax, the watch comes out to be about 5000 USD. That's a lot of money to put towards something you're not head over heels for. I will purchase if it comes out in a different color besides black.
Hi Brittany, hope you feel better soon. Nice video, thank you. Guess my favorite is still the Blackbay 41mm. Blue bezel.
That Pelagos FXD looks boss, I’ll have to seek one out to try on. Good, easy going review btw, enjoyed your take on these and that you don’t wrap around the axle on a dislike to drone through the entirety of an episode. And me thinks you may have come across some Gary Larson comics.
Love your reviews.
For me,the choice would be Black Bay 58/Blue.
Now,if the Pelagos 39 was blue,it would be that.
Thanks again.
Excellent work as always Britt... Your videos just keep getting more and more informative. Your loyal fans are proud of you and admire the progress you are making as a creator! Good on you Gringa... Tudor BB58....my personal favorite.
Ouuu HOO! It’s made the SHORT LIST! 😱 that’s a coveted spot! Man! The P39 just does it for me. 😍
BB58 is still my favorite of these shown. So much so I had to have both the blue and black versions.
Great Video Gringa. I have the harrods and the pro, and now on the list for the pelagos 39.
Ahhh I love the Harrod's! You are so lucky to own that one! And the Pro!
@@BrittPearceWatches Thanks Britt, I can't get enough of Tudor!
Just chillin' on the Sabbath with a Gringa movie. Loved the use of colour for a vibrant background to the watches. Usual greatness, uniqueness (ain't no such word) and plenitude of cool! Long live the cult.😎
LONG LIVE THE CULT! 💕💕✨ Ahhh this is much too kind! I am trying out more COLOURS and fun! I think I haven’t fully cracked the code! 🙈 but I am trying to figure out my style! This comment was far too kind!
I have the BB 58 in blue and love it, but like you I now want the Pelagos 39. I have the BB 36 but will probably sell it if my AD calls with the opportunity to get the Pelagos 39.
FXD for me, the ultimate tool for anyone that’s not going to deep
Another Banger Britt, thank you. Cheers
Oh you are much too kind! Thank you so much!
I have all 3. I put the Tudor ranger steel bracelet on the BB58 blue. No rivets, and microfit adjustment.
Bb58 is one of my favourite pieces I own, but if tudor release the pelagos 39 in blue then I will be adding one for sure 💙
Gah! If they release the P39 in blue I will freaking LOSE MY MIND!
Hello WG great video i love Tudor the choice is difficult cause i love Tudor cause this brand remember me the combat swimers of french navy. I choose the FXD love you
Cedric is here!!!
Great video Britt! Will be interesting to see what Tudor has at W&W for 2023
I really do need to find a 39 to try on, but it's really cool. The red text is just chef's kiss. I would love to see a blue one. That might be a shut up and take my money release, assuming they executed it well. I really don't mind the rivets on the BB, but absolutely think it's a crime against humanity that they've not updated the rest of the BB line with the T-fit clasp.
Honestly, they're great watches but the lack of a date is a no-go for me. A watch is a piece of equipment first for me and I really need the date.
Ahhhh! The no date is the best part! 😜
For me Pelagos 39 would be the choice. IMO, the square markers balances out the snowflake hands better.
That said Britt, I think adding black P39 to your blue BB58 would be a nice Tudor collection 😊
I vote for the BB58 in blue which I have. I have the same complaints you do about the bracelet but solved it by wearing mine on a silicone strap.
Kind of wish that Tudor would do a series of “Heritage” divers. Some vintage cues but with elegance.
Something like :
Matte dial
White gold indices
Satin brushed aluminum bezels in Burgundy, green, and blue.
White gold hands with lollipop sec hand
Three line script dial with red line
Non riveted oyster and jubilee options with T clasp
White gold colored inlay numbers on the bezel
The two toned subs style would be Tudors nod to their past as well as a sort of Tudor version of the Starbucks (I know they have a Harrods special edition but that’s more of a hunter green)
Maybe it could even be offered in a more sterile titanium cleaner “aprlogis” edition.
These could be their higher end line of Tudor.
Slightly better materials and finish with Meta and Cosc cert.
also I’d love to see a titanium watch with blue dial and matte black bezel.
The blue on blue is just not to my taste
Another cool show thank you Britt. The 39 Pelagos is a good size on you. Just like the Daytona. 🔥👏👍
Ahhh thank you so much Matt! I am freaking in love with the P39 now. I thought I'd love it, but now it is fully cemented in!
Aww thanks for the shout out mate 😊 and great vid as usual! 🙌🏾🙌🏾
I love my Tudors. I wear them more often than my Rolex’s. Thanks
I was confused for a bit of the video. I thought from the thumbnail this was a you're terrific video 😅
I know not in the same price point but a comparison of the Christopher Ward Trident 300 and the Tudor would be nice!
I’m with you Brit - so much so I bought the P39
That would be epic! Let’s see 🤞🏽💙
I have the Blue Black Bay version previous to yours which have the ETA movement without the faux rivets bracelet.
Ok, you've officially talked me into it! ;)
Tudor Pelagos 39mm is the best watch there by a long way!
I’ve got a big birthday coming up this year and 99% planning on buying a Tag Monaco…. but… If I get to see a Pelagos IRL… you never know what might happen. :-)
You didn’t mention the lume. P39 has fully lumed bezel which looks majestic in low light conditions (when airplane cabin lights go down!)
one thing i've not noticed before is the 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 goings anti-clockwise rather than all other dive watches going clockwise....who knew! (me by the looks of it)
P39 followed by the FXD! I'm addicted to titanium! Also, thanks for getting your husband to wear the watches as well. I was surprised with how well the FXD fit him. Hmmm...
Gah! RIGHT?! I feel the same at the moment!
Nice job lining up the second hands @britt
Unusual attention to detail from Gringa 😂😂😂
Trying to step it UP over here! 😅
I regret turning down the Pelagos 39, but then I have a BB, BB58 and Pelagos, so struggled to see the 39 fit. I found the 39 dial / glass didn't work at the time. Re straps, I've fitted Everest straps on my BB and it's brilliant.
That is a pretty healthy Tudor collection! 😜✨
@@BrittPearceWatches a bit too many tbh. I actually picked up the Ranger instead of the Pelagos 39
The original plan was to ditch two Tudor watches for the 39, but I wasn’t overwhelmed enough
"Does the pope..." One of these days, Britt. One of these days, I will remember not to drink anything while watching one of your videos. 🤣
Great video Gringa!! Love my BB58 gilt on the nato strap
Ahhhh YES! This is the way forward!
Interesting idea!! 🤔
Yeah, it’s definitely a less “bling” alternative to both the Rolex and Omega offerings.
Solid end link is perhaps better on the Tudors. There isn’t the fixed “tooth” as a first middle link.
Definitely drapes over the wrist a little more than the Rolex Oyster bracelet.
I am not a Rolex or Tudor guy but that Peligos is so sweet! Unfortunately I am not a Nato strap guy. Sorry, no Timmies comments today.
I would be interested in your view on the BLACK BAY GMT S&G.
I KNOOOOOW!!! I feel like I’m cheating on my BB58 😭😭 but you know, it might be jusy me getting excited for the new shiny toy!
❤Go Britt Go❤ I love my BB58 blue and my BB36 Black they have become my favourite watches and brand! I would love to find a great deal on the BB chronograph to add to my collection. 😊
Canadian Watch Monkey is HERE!
@@BrittPearceWatches I always enjoy hearing back from you Britt. I know you notice my comments because We Are Canadian lol that’s what I love about you
Agree with the bb58 bracket. But a good hack it to buy a Ranger watch and swop the bracelet over.
TIM JACKS IS HERE!! 💕💕 and I sooo need to get ahold of a Tudor ranger bracelet!
I'm holding out for a 39mm FXD. Watches and wonders 2024, I've got my eye on you!
Its the best release of 2022 ;)
The Fake (lets call them what they are) rivets are why the bracelet has very little micro adjust and therefor does not fit a lot of people.
Pelagos Steel is my prediction for W&W 2023 😈
I still love my bb58 blue the most! I had the Pelagos39 several times on my wrist, but it didn''t spoke to me! The FXD is another animal! 😉
The BB58 blue will always be pure magic! 💙
I own a TUDOR GMT. Having said that, would love a “BB58Blue” in 41mm but not as tall as the existing BB 41mm. And would also love a GMT in 39mm… Does this make any sense?
I have the FXD and love it. I really like the Pelagos but its larger brother.
