Ah... you know, this hits right in the feels. As someone who does not have financial abundance, seeing that every time I jump into it might be the last one due to costs to repair it if something goes bad, saddens me a bit, also knowing this is not going to stop but become even worse, worries me more BUT.
In the end I don't care, I don't intend on making profit, a lot of things can happen, but if I were to overthink everything that might happen in my life, I think I wouldn't be the type of person that would own an Skyline GT-R. It was meant to be driven and I'm happy to make it happen!

Good message mate, thanks for making this video. A lot of friends don’t understand why I’m not keeping all the stock parts that have come off my GTR over the years, I feel like they misunderstand the car. It’s not cryptocurrency, it’s a GTR!

When I saw this pop up on my notifications I had to watch immediately! Oh my god, what a car. This has always been one of my top all time favourite cars. That colour is seriously the best!!!

The midnight purple is my favorite colour with a set of Volk GTC face 2 with a gold spoke would be my ultimate spec.
Just a few years ago they were almost in reach for the "average" GTR nutter, now Holy hell they are worth so much more, just kicking myself I didn't get one and have to make do with the R33 GTST. Not complaining though that thing is a weapon.

I remember when the r32s first showed up in the late 2000s/early 2010s…you could get a decent Gtr landed for 15-18kCAD. Crazy how much the market has changed somewhat of a very short time.
Whats scary is the internet crowd will call you a liar because they were bred to accept scams and markups and don’t remember cheap GTR’s

I completely understand what you’re saying but I bought my bayside blue vspec young. Prices quintupled, I’m still middle class and now I have more value in my car than in my house, don’t want to sell it but it’s really hard to enjoy and modify something that’s worth more than all your belongings and house

The GTR’s are unusual to many other collectors cars that apart from the completely stock, 10,000kms cars, are more valuable the more modified they are. That is an awesome thing as us owners can build the hell out of them now knowing we’re not completely pissing our money up against the wall!

I own a GTR because they are fast, brutal and heaps fun. Not because they are luxurious or comfortable to drive. I don’t understand the idea of keeping it stock as you said build them but do it properly.
In 2005 I'd just finished my apprenticeship and went working FIFO, I came across a grey r32 gtr in a lot near burswoowd for the right price. The car sales man was a flog and offerd nothing for my immaculate s13 with mods so I passed on the 32 .Now I have neither car fuckin spewing
I learned about this car when I was 14 yrs old 1998. On playstation 1 Gran Turismo.... Beat the game with it...

Yep, modify with good quality parts - but keep the stock parts. My GTR is far from stock and is great to drive whether on the commute or on the track. She was on the cover of Performance Imports #194 and I make no apologies for the modifications put in. They are there because I enjoy them. She is no garage queen and I will continue to drive her.

GTR's where decently priced for many years. And for many years the whole, besides US, has access to them, but the prices remained decent. THEN AMERICA joined the party, and in typical 'Do you know who my daddy is' fashion, they over paid like crazy and caused the prices to hike up astronomically. In essence, they created the unrealistic demand (because Paul Walker and Grand Turismo.....). its BS!

These cars are fast enough on the street with 500whp. I don't see a need to go over that unless you plan to take it to a drag strip and really race it. That's all.
I'll be keeping my immaculate 32 absolute STOCK Thx...and won't be cutting it up into a boy racer depreciating it's value no end...who in their right mind would pay big money for a GTR cut up and personalised for someone else...not me....it took me ages to find a stock well kept GTR back in 2001... I appreciate it every time I drive it in its stock form

JDM Car scene culture is ending. These cars are too long new. If Nissan came out now, with any offering and affordable, r36, New from the ground up. And What people are after. And would buy. . Don't see this happening ever. The gtrs ect .Are just very old now. Done over and over. Motive video. Keeps it interesting still, with, what you can do. To make it better.

Over the 10 years., of gtr, ,nissan seems to have done nothing in that time .... A lot go for the toyota engine .2jz .. And are scared of a rb engine. Money pit. Unless you know what, you're doing. and with this make of car. Someone put up lately that they found out their gtr has a n1 block. It is a gtr .nissan Myth.
@@eddieportmore1 it's because Japanese manufactures aren't as risk taking anymore, they're all ultra conservative companies. Japan itself as an economy has been in slow growth for last 30 years. Ageing population, sick economy etc. Toyota can't make 2JZ anymore. They needed BMW to help with Supra. Nissan today, is just rehashing cars and design from 15 years ago. etc. And note the rise of Korean cars (whether you like them or not, they're winning with young buyers and have improved rather fast). The Japanese heyday for cars was really the 1990's and 2000's. It's kind of like how the US car manufacturer heyday was 1960's, 1970's, 1980's etc.

gtr scene is going crazy .
Charts appear to say >20.5k< bottom i could see that, but not with the macro situation though. I dont even think talkin bout the bottom is worth it atm. Macro is the worst in decades energy, inflation, rate hikes, supply shortages etc etc its the perfect storm. From 2008ish till around 2021 when the economy was boomin & the fed was printing money btc still crash about 85%. So i find it hard to accept a 75% crash for a bear market that lines up with a global recession, dont make sense to me. Institutions & whales need retail to sell so theres enough supply to meet their demand & they aint buyin yet!! The thing is retail aint got any money to ape in to btc atm & over the next 12 months or so i see less money in the system as the fed tightens & everything goes up in price. So where will the money come from in that kind of a setting?? I really dont think weve seen the bottom yet or the kind of pain coming next year after mid terms. I guess we will see, I will keep buy and just trade long term more than ever, I have made over 5.6` btc from trading with Brycen Stanley in few weeks this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish
