As the owner of a brand new ( 5 days "old") Charger RT DAYTONA, it's not so much about how much more hp the upcoming RT has compared to mine, it's about power to WEIGHT ratio! On another chanel ( Matt Maran) he revels the relatively low top speed of these new EVs, Under 140 mph!

It’s a 6,000lb car and tops out at 130mph might as well stuck the old platform they just 2,000lb on top of the previous platform and you have to pay a subscription fee in order to unlock more horsepower DODGE IS A SCAM!!!
6000lbs under 700 hp. Not gonna be faster than a hellcat. This car is massive and heavy as a large forklift.

If they made a Hellcat ,392,5.7 all wheel drive those would be a lot quicker 0-60 and 1/4 mile..
I need a V8,cant stand 6 cyl sounds...I buy/sell cars all the time and drove nice Charger's,300's and Challenger's with 3.6 V6 and the sound ruined it...Jump in a 5.7 and music to my ears...
I dont care about being quicker I dont go to the track with my cars anymore...I drove many 4 and 6 cyl performance cars from all brands,jump in a V8 even if slower I enjoyed it more!

What you are leaving out is the gas powered versions. Both will be the twin turbo inline 6 Hurricane engine, one having 420 H/P the High Output 550 H/p. Both all wheel drive.

Hopefully you don't get rained out from the track this weekend. And BTW if you want to go 4 wheel drive you will need to get transfer case built and heavier duty axles and diferential to handle the torque
