The Legend was for sure just some PR bullshit, but the Mazda seemed like it was out of love. They didn't lower it and throw flashy wheels and spoilers on it. They restored it to like it was a brand new car, nothing more nothing less. Not to mention, I didn't even know about that story, but Luda's story is all over social media.

Two things really drove home for me, just how big Shaq is. First, when he stood next to Justin Timberlake on The Tonight show. Justin is over 6 feet tall, and Shaq towered over him. Second, when Orange County Chopper made a custom bike for Shaq. When Shaq sat in it, it just looked like a normal size dude on a normal size bike. When Paul Sr. sat in it, Paul Sr. looked like a little kid riding his dad's bike.

I was right there with you, until I searched and found he sold it around June 2015. And made 7 million pounds on the sale (total sale was 12.2M less the 5M he bought it for), even though he had two accidents in it, one significant.

I was into the SHO's big time. I loved the Yamaha V6. Had a green auto that was stock, and a much faster White 5-speed manua that had all the mods the aftermarket had to offer. Its hard to believe now, but at the time it was one of the fastest 4 doors around. Lots of fun. They sounded great too
Ford really made dogs out of the auto versions of their hot rods. They did the same with the T-bird turbo coupe.
@@pescatoralpursuit1726 Everybody did. It was the era before they perfected the electronic high stall torque converter. It really hindered the ability to launch. My auto trans SHO was just as fast as the manual in a 50mph roll race, when both were stock. From a dig the manual got a huge jump tho

Bought a low mileage 89 Turbocoupe stick from an auction for $300 because nobody wanted a 4 cylinder stick shift Thunderchicken back then, I was the only one to bid on it. That thing was quick as hell and sounded like a jet fighter until the head gasket eventually blew like they all do.
A few years later I bought a 40k mile 98 Contour SVT stick for $2200 from an old lady schoolteacher friend of my stepmother.
All I did was throw on a cat back, some black rims, lower it about 1.5”, de-badge it, and tint the windows. That Yamaha engine sounded so damn sweet people would literally chase me down to find out what it was then would be shocked when I said “Ford Contour”.
People would try and race me all the time (especially Civics, Preludes and Integra Type-Rs for some reason) and she would straight wipe the floor with just about anything that wasn’t turbocharged. Such an underrated and unappreciated car.

I had an 92 Acura legend sadly in auto but I got it half blown already. Still was a super fun car to drive handles like it was on rails and beautiful.
I sold it to a guy who restores them and he sent me pictures and it's gorgeous. I wish I could've done it myself but I don't have the means or money to do so. I'm just happy it got another life
