The classic battle city duel disk is definitely still my favorite.
I really like the Academy Duel Disk, because it looks really modern, and appears to be a remastered version of the Original Duel Disk, with much more portability than before. Unlike the fact that it is used mostly in the Duel Academy, this is my favorite because of its clever, remastered design, and added portability, in my opinion.
My favorite duel disk was yuseis from 5ds. It had strong similarities to the battle city one. My old duel disk broke when I accidentally bumped into my bookshelf, causing it to fall and breaking the bigger wing off at the bit where it connects to the spinning wheel.😭😭
The Orichalcos is my favorite duel disk for sure. Felt pretty unique when I saw it in the anime for the first time
Yusei Fudo duel disk because I love how he had it on his runner then when he needed to duel standing it would basically eject and connect it to his wrist piece.

Kaiba's latest duel disk from Dark Side of Dimension is my favorite because it can appears suddenly from Kaiba's shoulder pads, outstanding technology
My favorite has always been the one from the battle city tournament. I always loved how before every duel the 2 sides would connect.
My favorite duel disc from Yu-Gi-Oh! is the Orikalkos Disk. I actually had it as a child. You could put them on so beautifully per part, so I mean the different levels of the duel disk. And it could also be opened by jerky movement. Only the holders were too tight for me, so I was afraid to scratch or destroy my cards.
My favourite back in the day has to be The Supreme King's Duel Disk, it looks so slick and was so cool, loved it
My favorite Duel disk is the Chaos one, I really like they shape of it, it looks like a scythe and those symbols, damn, and actually is because my mom and dad gave the mattel duel disk for xmas

I remember getting the battle city duel disk when I was kid and nearly passing out. It was so freaking cool, especially the fact that it moved. I will say, I thought the chaos duel disk looked super dope but was a bummer that it didn’t have any type of automatic motion to it. Due to that factor, battle city duel disk all day 🙌🏽

Battle city will always hold a spot in my heat ever since mine was lost to a fire. But if I had to pick a fav duel disk based on style from all that were made it would be the oricalcose disk. It's just really cool looking.

Each duel disk has its own pros to it but I like the orichalcos one just cause of the look of it. However, I do like the fact the 5ds one started supporting cards with sleeves. This one is fantastic and I would love to get my hands on one of these.
My favorite Duel Disk is the OG Kaiba one that’s in this video, when I was younger I bought one in Arizona and brought it all the way back to Minnesota, was my favorite thing til I accidentally dropped it down the stairs, went to buy a new one and they didn’t sell them anymore, id say that was over 10 years ago, haven’t had one since.

I like the First Version of Duel Disk.(Kiaba uses vs Yugi on Duelist Kingdom) You have to put the card on a literal disk the throw it. so weird...
I'd say the original Duel Disk from Duelist Kingdom was always interesting to see and it would have been so cool to have had a replica release of that for prop usage! Just seeing how far the Duel Disk came from Duelist Kingdom to now through each iteration, its incredible that much like real technology it was the stepping stone in portable dueling in Yu-Gi-Oh! (Duel Monsters)

My favorite Duel Disk is the detachable Duel Runner Duel Disk that Yusei uses. There’s just something about the notion of Yugioh with motion, I know “Card Games on Motorcycles” is a meme and all, but I just find the concept cool as hell.

My favorite duel disk is the prototype thats just a circle that they would throw. First time it was introduced to the series. Runner up is the chaos duel disk from the waking the dragons story arc with the seal of orichalcos.
It is totally possible to have a scanner on a duel disk where you would just temporarily move the card over a camera which would compare the image to a database, find the card, then project an image. It could be done with existing technology, it's not that complicated. It's just a matter of getting the skilled labor and budget together. This would be extremely labor intensive particularly in the department of creating the projected images. However, once the device was created and development costs were recouped it wouldn't need to be any more expensive than a mid range smartphone.
If this were a matter of national security, the US Government could probably have a working prototype in a week, you know? It's right there, totally attainable.
Also, it's insanely easy to create a duel disk that would be able to hold fitted sleeves such that it would not damage them. It's kind of disappointing they didn't accomplish that here but it's cool nonetheless.
The duel disk that darts or yubel have were always dope... Still wish that we get duel disks one day, that can actually project the images of the cards like they do in the anime..

My favourite duel disk is Yugis when he used it on battle city tornoment.
My fav is that weird prototype kaiba introduced in duelist Kingdom that he threw and flipped out the monster... Idk I remember seeing that one as a kid and was blown away
The first one ever shown in the show, where Kaiba and Yugi dueled on Pegasus's castle and it showed their hands as hologram as well

My favorite duelist so far is Yuma from Zexal. Seeing him be a bad duelist rise up and be a really great duelist was awesome.

That particular Duel Disk is somewhat holographic screen.
If you’re interested in a Duel Disk that you can actually duel with, I highly recommend the 2010 Yusei Duel Disk. It doesn’t have the bells and whistles that the Proplica Duel Disk has, but it makes up for that in function. It supports five digit life totals (but you can’t change the ones’ digit, unfortunately), it has slots for Extra Deck and banished, and it fits single sleeved cards with very, very few issues. Cards don’t get caught in the deck slot, they don’t get bent by the main monster zone tabs (if at all), and the spell and trap zones are in the front of the blade so you’re less likely to bend cards by inserting them. The only potential issues are a) the Graveyard is behind a lip on the blade, so you might bend cards getting them in or out (though I haven’t found that to be much of an issue) and b) if your cards slightly curl naturally, it’s possible that one could get stuck in the Field Spell Zone if you close it with a card in it. Like any Duel Disk, there’s going to be an awkward amount of weight hanging off of the blade end, but if that becomes a problem you can easily disassemble it. I’ve had mine for years, and it’s the only Duel Disk I would trust my cards with.

So picking my favorite Duel Disk is really hard, but i have to say it is actually a tie between the Chaos Disk from Waking Dragons and then Akiza's duel disk from 5D's. I know it wasn't shown off much but i always loved her deck so it made me love the disk too

My favorite is ironically enough the Battle City Duel Disk cause thats the one I grew up with.
It’s a toss up between the seal of orichalcos duel disk and Kaiba’s dark side of dimensions duel disk. Too cool! I wanted to get one of these and forgot about preordering and next thing I knew, it was a bit too late and the resale on these is insane.
My personal favorite Duel Disk is the one that Dark Jesse (Yubel) had. Because there was no other duel disk like it and I thought the design was really badass

I go from the battle city to the chaos to the specialized D pads from zexal, I mean honestly I like them all, but my absolute favorite is probably the straight battle city duel disk. In fact, I made my own out of foam because I couldn’t afford to buy one.
