I remember a while back my parents had laughed at me because they found out I collect cards when I'm 16 years old. This guy has taught me that it's ok to enjoy what you like and to be yourself. Thanks Roman.

seeing this videos is so sick, when i grew up yu-gi-oh was my favorite show(still is) and i had no idea that people are still interested in cards like that.
wish i still had my cards, i think that my mom threw them away or something when we moved :(
i'll remember forever when i went to see "pyramid of light" in the theater when i was 5 years old and dragged my mom and my sister, each person that purchased a movie ticket got a game card with a monster from the movie and i got anubis i think and my mom got blue eyes shining dragon and of course gave it to me , the happiness i had that moment is unmemorable.
another great memory i have is that all the kids in my pre school garden always competed with who has the best cards, and that one time i bought a regular deck of cards in my hometown store and got all 3 egyptian gods in that card, i was so hyped and all the kids in my garden was shocked
was so little and still remember it crystal clear. yu-gi-oh is the best!!!
I've got a binder full of 100s of original vanillas, some of them being first editions, and then the likes of blue eyes, red eyes, dark magician, Tri horned dragon and so on. And I can literally just look through it when I'm bored. The memories it gives me are great!!
Me too I haven't played in years except online or legacy of the duelists but I'm too sentimental to sell'em at least the classic cards maybe I'll put a short vid up on my channel one day of my collection idk 🤔

If you enjoyed opening tins and deck boxes full of cards, you should take a look at all my binders, deck boxes, etc. I kept my original collection when the game first debuted and many cards went immediately into sleeves and pages. Something about looking back on how the game first started always is a rush.

Not sure if you noticed but the 1st magic cylinder is also a misprint. The secret foiling is going in the opposite direction. Those are VERY hard to come by and are hard to put a price on. I just got a lot with a Gaia the dragon that's misprinted that way. Great opening, loving all those classic foils
I remember buying the tin boxes with fake cards because I was never really able to afford them. But thanks to you and your awesome channel i recently got back into collecting authentic yu-hi-oh cards and it’s been the best decision I’ve made.I still don’t know how to play the game but I’m hoping to learn soon.

I have a few cards with no name. A blue eyes and two other cards. What is that? A factory error or what? It looks just like that spell binding circle. There’s a slight embossment where the name would be part of the way through but no ink
I bought a few Kaiba boxes last year and 2 of my Loop of Destructions didn't have the gold lettering printed. Can see the lining for the words though :(.

Love watching simply unlucky, I sold all my cards to my neighbor back in high school 8 years ago. Luckily he still had most of them looking through them brought back some memories. Started collecting again too

But I do have a quite of old school collection from through trades over the years. Just finished my LOB set,in a binder and the 4 starter decks.
Serious classics, cannot beat this mystery box. Some of those cards should get graded and you should then do a video to show how they played out.

It’s unbelievable what a fan can do for you he could’ve easily right there turn your company into a target for people globally all those rare and obscenely difficult to obtain cards in your hand people will travel just to look at the cards in person. Whoever this guy was he probably just made you a success if you Weren’t already

I remember I had about 20 Digimon cards too and they were rare ones. I gifted all of my old common yugioh cards, pokemon cards and Digimon cards to some schoolkids.
Thankyou to the person who relinquished these cards for the video and thankyou Simply unlucky. Certain cards in their previous ultimate rarity here has really brought back memories. For me it missed an Airknight Parshath XD
I have my whole binder with old foils including injection fairy Lily (card is literarly yellow from how old it is) so yeah whole video is nostalgic, those were good times back in the day when yugioh was really popular. :)

Drives me crazy seeing this and wondering where so many of my cards went. I had a Japanese blue eyes I pulled from a tin that my cousin in the navy brought from Japan probably 2003-2004. I left my cards outside my house one time to go to McDonald’s and when I came back a chunk of them were missing. Next time I saw my neighbor friend he showed me his new huge card stack. I cried to my mom he stole my cards but didn’t make him give them back cause it was too late and they had all mixed in and I’d never get my actual cards back. I still have most of my Japanese cards but I know I’m missing tons of cards like blue eyes shining dragon from the movie as well as the other movie cards. The Japanese blue eyes I have no idea what happened to, if I traded it for something stupid or what.
I also had a slifer the sky dragon I got from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Movie manga that I gave my friend which he tore up just cause apparently lol. Oh the pain of when I think about what could’ve happened to all those cards I had. I still have a ton of starter deck and classic cards from LOB, PSV, MRD, and more, just wish I still held on more closely to all of them.
I still have the Japanese tin without the lid, idk what happened to my other tins :/

the gaia the dragon champion is also a misprint (i believe it‘s considered to be a pretty common one) where it has the usual secret rare foiling on the card but the name has a golden ultra rare print!
16:52 I’m pretty sure there was a name on there because I see on both ends of it where the name should be some reflection of the letters but the letters where coming off I should know because that happened to me a few times
