It did clear up quite well Sir, after about the first 45 seconds. It is truly scary that your expected to run for $1.18 per mile as an owner op. It is an ugly world for sure. I am pulling for you and hope you can get onto the Dedicated freight zone you spoke of in the early videos. How much the world has changed.. Please stay safe out there. Thank you for sharing your world with us. Then I just saw @1.07 per mile WOW.
I live in that area, if I do 100 mile radius nothing will pop up. Most freight in that area comes out of North Jersey or sometimes Baltimore and if your already in that area deadhead miles aren’t a big factor
@@Againsttheworldlogistics one more and last question. What’s the estimate of deductions when you first sign on with Mercer?. Because on my understanding they give you the all equipment: trailer, straps, chains, etc.
@@Againsttheworldlogistics I really do appreciated it!!! Be safe brother !!! God bless you !!! And I’m a big follower of what you doing out there and the content you make for us. Truckers for life !!! Until the wheel 🛞 fall off !! Stay prayed up!!!
The first column says 974.79. Is this line haul or all in.. does this rate include fuel surcharge. If so then I need to subtract that from this rate.. can you tell me please
I'm company driver tell me how to figure in deadhead miles . If i have a load that pays 3 bucks but after deadhead it's 2 bucks a mile do you divide the deadhead miles by the rate how is this calculated peace
Dang that's good I'm only bringing home about 2900 a week after all expenses and running 3000 miles per week home every weekend my truck and trailer is paid for
Yeah. You have to be careful when booking loads because it can put you in a bad area and have to deadhead allot. Sometimes those good paying loads are paying that goog for a reason
@@Againsttheworldlogistics yeah on the lowboy video even in the good areas Chicago Illinois Indiana Ohio the dead head is still high with still brings the rate down and I'm saying that you still in a good area I mean still like 150 200 miles
300 mile radius for pick up ? Unless it pays really good who’d like to drive almost have a day for a load . No wonder you see rate less than $2 and that’s b4 Mercer cut ??
The load board video pay to the truck nothing is over 2bucks. Then the deadhead is average 200 + miles even in Illinois for flatbed that's terrible. 300 miles for 600 that's worse then cheap I'm not saying you but they need to do better. And let owner operator run off secondary load boards peace
Not a good company I've been here for 6 mo. An been planning to leave every sense I started. I pull dry van an I'm 2 mabe 3 yeah it is alot of dh sometimes Also u have a cronator. U have lunch with them before u start I never seen no s.....t like that. This not a real op company.
It depends on how your getting paid by the person your driving for. Most fleet managers pay 30% of gross after fuel is taken out. It can be good and bad at the same time. I wouldn't do it personally.@@LovinLife2
Thanks for making the videos needed this
No problem.

Would u recommend Mercer?
Can you do a look at a deadhead of 100 miles or less with the rate set at 3.00 per mile for flatbed see what pops up in Maryland or Pennsylvania

What is your average deadhead in area like Ohio & Indiana what are the rates if you wanna do 500 mile hopesq
are thes for flatbed or dryvans or general?
The first half of the video is flatbed rates, the second half is Van
Good morning brother !!! Is that your cut after Mercer percentage?
Yes. The pay you see is after Mercer takes their 25%

Is this after the 75/25 cut or before?
I see the answer now.
The first column says 974.79. Is this line haul or all in.. does this rate include fuel surcharge. If so then I need to subtract that from this rate.. can you tell me please
The rate you see includes the fuel surcharge. Mercer had already taken their cut out, so what you see is what you get.
@@Againsttheworldlogistics so then you would have to deduct the fuel cost from that rate. Is that what you are saying…

Add staying in the company truck plus benefits plus medical equals stay a company driver your better off 😂😂😂

I don’t go to Mercertown that often
No dry van in your video tho
Can you make some decent money at Mercer on dry van
To be honest I don’t know, from the rates I see no, but I hear some drivers say they make ok money so I’m not sure

Try Blair logistics

No don't try Blair Logistics. You go where they say you go. There's no load boards over here and they don't pay out after when you deliver a load.
